Man I remember years ago listening on ESPN about a punter retiring n starting a podcast. All those sports casters laughed, they laughed so much I was even like yeah a punter. But damn Pat McAfee, proving us all wrong. Way to go get it. Better ratings than any sports show, bringing in more money than Stephen a Smith and Skip Bayless combined, do your thing boy I am sorry I laughed I was wrong. Proud of you for doing your thing tho.

@@jaq007 honestly, I loved the Jeff Saturday experiment. I think if they would have given him a year or two. He could have turned that ship around. He’s a proven winner, leader and can relate as a player. Now that he’s had a little taste. I hope he gets on a coaching staff and starts building a resume and eventually becomes a HC. Players should get fast tracked into better positions after their playing days are over. Rather than asking them to work for peanut’s at the lowest positions available. Because no one can teach a young kid a position better than a guy who just played that position at a high level for 10-15 years. Obviously not EVERY player would make a great coach. Because some guys don’t know how to teach what they did. But I’d say more than not, could coach and teach at a high level. Especially if mixed in with an established HC. Ole MCDC is making everyone who laughed at him for his press conferences and crying look foolish. Granted he didn’t go straight into a HC role. But still he’s far exceeded expectations by making the lions relevant for the first time since they fired ole cuzzy who had a winning record.

@@WheelchairWolverine I understand what you are saying but I get to disagree because I think it was better to let him start as someone from the coaching staff, the win against the Raiders did not say anything about him, the Raiders are horrible franchise (I am a Raider actually) but then reality came out after they got blow out against the Cowboys, not to mentioned the embarrassed lost against the Texans. His record is 1-7, it will be very tough for him to get another shot. Dan Campbell is different, he used to be on coaching staff the Dolphins.

Exactly how I feel. People making fun of him (the media) for the darkness retreat when the whole point of it is to get to know yourself and better yourself. They killed him (and kyrie) for not getting vaccinated because they weren't comfortable putting something in their body that they don't know what the long term affects it will have, which oddly heart issues have rose 30% in people who got vaccinated. They also killed him for his ayahuasca experience, which is another thing people do for getting to know themselves and to grow spiritually, which is just like doing the toad which alot of high profile people have done for the journey, but the media makes it would like hes a heroin and meth addict. They kill him for "taking to long" on his decision when he needed to make sure he makes the best decision for himself....but he's "selfish"

I'm happy and I'm not even a fan of either team. I'm just happy to see an awesome talent finally get an organization behind him. Unlike the Packers, they'll go get free agents, they'll retain talent, they'll draft offensive weapons in the first round. It's sad when you see a wasted talent because the organization refuses to build around their talent. I watched it for Dan Marino's whole career, where he never had a running game. Forget league leading rusher, Dan Marino never even had an RB who could get 1,000 yards. And that's with only 5 or 6 men in the box because the defense was geared towards stopping Marino. Emmitt Smith wanted to play with Marino and was turned away. That's what the Packers have done with Rodgers, they let Jennings, Driver, Nelson, Cobb, Adams and many others go, while never drafting a first round weapon. They'd draft a WR late, expect him to develop and have Rodgers make him look good, then once they do develop, they let them go and start over with late round nobodies that they expected Rodgers to magically turn into All Pros. The Jets having legit weapons already, and I'm sure they'll draft and get more in free agency. Aaron will be the MVP again.

It's so god damn sad how disloyal this fan base has been to him. From Day One they've hated him when he replaced Favre and now they hate him on the way out after he made our team contenders for a decade and a half when the odds were completely against him. If he'd retired last year this team would have been 2-15, I don't care what anybody says. Says a lot about how the Packers are run that they have squandered and pissed off two back-to-back HoF QBs. I hope the Jets give what he needs to shut the mouths of the media driven haters

@@bobjohansen3051 Favre dealt with the same problems- The Packers let Sharpe, Jennings, Driver, Green and other talent leave and never brought in free agents or first round weapons. Aaron dealt with the same thing, and guys like AJ Hawk and Mathews are just two examples of guys they let go on defense too. The Packers are one of those teams who constantly stay well under the salary cap so the owners (in this case the city) can pocket that money. They cover it up by keeping Favre and Rodgers around, but they never use up the available funds in order to get better. They'd rather draft a D lineman, safety etc because if they become All Pros, they don't have to pay them as much as an All Pro WR..

One thing I realize, is that so many Packer fans are spoiled babies. They cry because "Rodgers only got us one ring wahhh"
Listen here. From 2010 to 2020 they were the Green Bay Rodgers. He carried this damn team. He was McCarthys meal ticket.
You want Rodgers gone, then you can enjoy the years of mediocrity we have coming.
It was a priveledge to have AR12 as our QB. Consistent playoff appearances, and contending every single season, with a Superbowl. 95 percent of teams cant say they've had the same

Then he started coming on here and I felt so stupid for hating him for the reasons I did.
