I still don't get how your channel didn't blow up after the The Wall videos. I still use that knowledge to this day. One day the youtube algorithm will bless you my friend, keep it up.

Your channel is literally a phenomenon. I'm really shocked that you don't have more subs. Keep up the good work, I'm sure it will pay off :)

I heard before of how meticulous the comedic craft of The Onion is and how much effort is put into conveying their message while being extremely funny, and you illustrate this quite well regarding the topic of popular opinions on (against) homosexuality as depicted by them.

The assumption that vampires aren’t historically intensely queer coded is hilarious to me. The first vampire was literally a lesbian (Carmilla)! And don’t get me started on the Picture of Dorian Gray which is overtly homoerotic and written by a gay author. Even Dracula has a history of queer subtext. The narrative history of vampires in queer horror is rich and complicated, but certainly not straight. And that’s why I love it haha.

While I do think that the Onion bit made a good point about double standards when it comes to flamboyancy, this is absolutely true. There's definitely a fine line between a vampire whose flamboyance is glamorised because its in the service of seducing women and one that's just straight-up queercoded. Remembering some of the homophobic backlash against Robert Pattinson and his character in Twilight when that franchise was big, I'm realising its definitely possible for one work to aim for the former and then accidentally end up in the latter for a big chunk of the audience.

Banger Channel despite the art style you use. I am a proud Pink Floyd and David Bowie fan.
