For 28:15 from what I hear that’s actually the deleted credits song for the first Equestria Girls movie before it was replaced with “A Friend For Life”. I’m not sure if that’s misinformation however
She’s a creative through and through, and seeing other creatives inspired by your work getting bullied out of their fair shake would spur anyone like that to help
I remember being so disappointed that I never got to play Fighting is Magic. But TFH's original character designs look amazing! I'm glad the project got given a new life, even without Hasbro's copyrighted characters.
I actually found a working download on a sketchy looking thread last year both the tribute and complete edition I played it with my friend on the bus on my laptop occasionally It actually still works too. I have a video of me playing it on my channel
I haven't played TFH yet, but intend on buying it when it comes out for Switch. It's the closest we'll ever get to an official pony fighter, and it seems to be fulfilling the niche desire for a game like that quite well. I'm sure some hardcore fighting game fans even like it.
I was one of unfortunate 10-12 that watched gameplay of BFE(D). Its haunting that stuff like that was easily accessed by a kid and a fangame from a kids show, and that I'm not the only kid who saw this shit.
I remember being downright terrified of my mom finding out I watched something NSFW. I thought she'd ban me from ever watching the show again if she did. Weird time to look back on.
I myself honestly look fondly back on the memories of this game. Yes, it affected me a bit too, but I loved seeing fucked up shit and pron so I don't regret it. The most fucked up thing I've ever seen is a Halloween special of this game (if you don't know, you don't wanna know trust me) Makes me remember when my parents thought I was watching mlp pron on my laptop, when in reality I was really just watching a RUclips video of someone playing mlp browser games (the title and thumbnail of the video was very suggestive so I guess they just assumed it was pron without even checking what was the video)
@@demian_demand oh my god i almost forgot abt the halloween special... i remember watching it over and over because i just found it so bizarre. thankfully it didn't scar me permanently i guess 😭
It's so cool to see PonyTown here as someone who has been playing it since it's near beginnings in 2016. A lot of the playerbase hardly treats it as an MLP game anymore sadly, focusing so much on cosplaying their favorite anime character
Seeing development of PonyTown over the years has been so cool. It started out as such a simple pony roleplay game, very limited in styles and accessories, but there’s so much customization and designing to do nowadays that you can make whatever character you want!
I was on pony town once, and I was cosplqying twilight. This person came up to me and is like "you look like a my little pony character " I explained that Pony Town is a mlp fangame. They didn't know it was and argued that its not because no one is a mlp character. And I told them if they are right, why is everyone a pony? They got angry and said they hate my little pony and they left
An incredibly under-appreciated fangame, which is still being worked on and finished to this day, is one called Octavia In the Underworlds Cello. It's an incredibly well crafted and realized recreation of the feeling of old games like Uninvited, Shadowgate, and Deja Vu, and it has an incredibly unique atmosphere due to this! It never received very much publicity within the fandom from what I could tell, but the people who did play it seem to remember it fondly and many, including myself, are still keeping up with its development years after no longer watching the show! I have wonderful memories of playing this game around Halloween every year and loving it's atmosphere and style of puzzles, I would definitely suggest anyone look into this and give the creator some love as the project does not receive nearly enough!
Broooo I haven’t heard or seen anyone else talking about this game! I hope it gets more attention, the pixel art is gorgeous and the story is interesting.
I was the person who voiced Discord in the Funkin is Magic mod! I didn't join the fandom until 2018 so it's awesome to be a part of such a cool project and to do impressions of the characters I love. I have so much respect for all the talented and passionate developers who are still making new games. Also aside from Discord, I voiced Button mash for a DLC song that will come out later! So there's definitely more to come hehe :D
I remember playing an MLP fan game back on DeviantART called Derpey’s Story. In the game, your mouse cursor was changed to look like a cluster of bubbles and you had to help Derpey escape the everfree forest by clicking the screen to make her move to that location. I remember really in joying it and the art for it was really well done.
I remember stumbling upon Story of the Blanks when I was a kid! I couldn't get past the part where everyone turned into zombies for the first time, so I got frustrated and stopped playing it lol. I keep meaning to dig it back up from whatever website(s) it's still hosted on and try to actually finish it. Maybe I'll actually know what's going on well enough to be scared by it this time!
Omg yeah I loved that game lol I was an emo ass little Creepypasta kid, but I couldn’t handle jumpscares so I played Story of the Blanks over and over again-
10:08 Excuse this mess, for I was a 13 year old child when I started that whole thing, and it originally wasn't supposed to be more than a single video. Hundreds and hundreds of people enjoy it still, which is why to this day I'm continuing it, and trying to bring it to a somewhat proper close.
Bro at 13 years old I was a snotty child playing with fire in my backyard, while you're there creating memorable art. Those Flippy animations were my childhood! Thank you for making them. I distinctly remember Flippy getting stabbed and Creepybloom finding a towel to plug the bleeding.
While I'm not the biggest fans of FiM as I used to be, I still have a warm place in my hearts for Story of the Blanks. It reminds me of when horror rpg maker games were really popular online with games like Yume Nikki, The Witches House and OFF.
Story of the Blanks is my favorite. I've written a Story series based around it, a human guy from Raccoon City fights the Blanks and saves Ruby and Mitta. My thumbnail is my human oc in pony form getting a hug from a blank as a joke. Story of the Blanks forever solidified me as a brony. That game holds a special place in my heart forever.
The Them’s Fightin’ Herds section hurts knowing they just announced that development will no longer continue after season 1. Story mode will remain incomplete.
As someone who’s played Ponytown since 2017 it’s a very fun place to find your fandoms. The only downside I’d say is 18+ is actually full of minors who just want to cuss, luckily you can just block or report them if you find them in the server. The game is very much still a work in progress so it may not always be this way. They’re still adding stuff and I can’t wait to see where it goes.
Legends of Equestria's open beta weekends were always PACKED with players for the entire duration of the event. I still remember some fond events that happened during some of them; a dragon attacking Ponyville on the last day of an open beta weekend, exploring the Castle of the Two Sisters with other players via a glitch that let you get to it, dancing at Sugarcane Corner, things like that. Sadly, after the game fully came out, the player base began going down until today, where barely anyone plays it. It still gets updates but it no longer has the packed worlds it had before.
If it the one I was playing I remember it with all the roleplay as well as other Roblox MLP games like that Wich was fun I loved the FNAF one too felt cool to be the characters but sadly it isn't on Roblox anymore
as long as many fangames didn't make money it was good which was the biggest mistake of Fighting Is Magic that got attention in 2 EVOs and was getting money thanks to it that's what it got an easy C&D
I've got quite a few memories of mlp fangames from when I was a kid, mostly the scary games and, very unfortunately, banned from equestria. Looking back, the mlp fandom was never really safe for kids, despite that being the demographic of the show.
Being a kid in the 2010s was wild. The red pony on the thumbnail brought back some memories I'd rather have forgotten for good lmao Worst part is: my first contact with BFE and NSFW in general was the Halloween edition. If you know YOU KNOW.
The embarrassment of being around the age range of 10-13 and knowing who Mittsies and Tiarawhy were I will give Mittsies credit, the music they composed themselves is very catchy But I’d rather not remember any curious ponies or Applequest
I saw the announcement trailer for Them Fightin’ Herds on Switch yesterday and LOST MY MIND. It makes me so happy to see the brony/pegasister fandom succeed :P
As soon as I saw the Fluttershy in the thumbnail I had my fingers crossed it was the one from Fluttershy's Lovely Home! The game in very nostalgic for me because my friend and I would have sleepovers and play it together. We also were obsessed with this one rainbow factory/cupcakes roleplay game which is still around but is a little broken. There were a lot of weird fan made characters and pony versions of characters like Sonic the Hedgehog or Harry Potter. It's a shame Fluttershy's Lovely Home is gone now, I'd love to play it again for some memories.
i used to love that game so much, as well as that one rainbow factory game where you had to rescue ponies as scootaloo, btw I played the same rainbow factory rp game i used to love it lol
Omg I loved this game! It was so cool and creepy and it was such a simple time for roblox lol. I really miss this game, especially the rainbow factory one!!!
I remember 10 year old me playing Pink Tack Toe, getting scared of the ending and never touching it again out of fear. Good thing I never played Luna game, I'd have a heart attack.
I made an among us pony mod in 2020 when all the among us hype was going on. I would’ve kept it updated if Innersloth didn’t change the way their compression works. I hope I’ll figure it out someday, I got very busy with college and work when the new update dropped. I was completely alone in it, I contemplated making lore, I still want to someday.
Fun fact about Story of the Blanks: The person who made that game, Donitz, still makes horror games and has made some pretty successful ones in the past couple years. They made Burger and Frights!
Fun fact: There are at least currently 17-18 versions "full" of Fighting is Magic all made by different people using the same base from Mane6. From the Tribute Edition (mentioned here) to Aurora (one of the very few versions that's still updating to this day and the only one with new characters done or reworked from the ground up. For now.) You can really see the love these fans put in for a game like this. I recommend it to anyone who's a fan of the traditional fighting game.
I used to play a roblox rainbow factory roleplay game as a kid. I specifically remember it had my little pony versions of vocaloid characters you could play as.
14:12 thats a weird lookin' alpaca jokes aside, it's a shame that Sulphur Nimbus never got the attention it deserved, always looked very polished for a pony game. I guess it lost its popularity when the creator changed the main character from rainbow dash to a griffon to avoid legal consequences
As far as I know, Fluttershy’s lovely home is still up on Roblox, it’s just been privated by the original creator, as well as their other MLP horror games, which included a Rainbow Factory one, one based off of Cupcakes, and an original(?) one with Derpy.
i played banned from equestria WAY too many times as a kid... i could never beat luna, though. unfortunate. also, another MLP fangame i enjoyed back in the day was super filly adventure! probably super simple but i loved the boss battle. and then there was the bad ending....
Luna isn't that hard once you figure out the pattern. And I'm gonna assume going off what I saw for the recommended of the bad ending in Super Filly Adventure is that its some sort of jumpscare? ahaha
One thing I wish they did with 'Fighting is Magic' is have a level set in the Canterlot throne room with Celestia and Luna (with guards) watching over the fights.
tester from EaW here! thanks for bringing our mod up! its the video its very well done and polished as well maybe one day you could try playing the mod! anyhow amazing video!
Another great mlp fangame was a fallout Equestria one: "fallout Equestria remains" it's a full platformer rpg with a story, levels, bosses perks and a lot of weapons and easter eggs, I'd really recommend it, you can even have your own style of play, my first time was based around stealth and mele and my second run was around energy weapon and magic
Played the game before and its honestly very good. I still have it on my computer, hell theirs a mlp horror game on steam that I believe is still their called "D'Lirium".
Surprised this video missed Part Time Job. It was a basic but fairly competent visual novel where you played as this OC who works at an insane asylum, and all the residents are the creepy fandom versions of MLP characters.
As a ponytown player, im so glad to see it mentioned here! Ponytown has such a unique culture and its super welcoming. Ive spent hours just chatting or roleplaying on there.
the song from My Little Hair Salon is called My Little Pony Friends - according to the mlp wiki it was the original ending song for the first EQG song but was cut to go with Friend for Life instead
fun fact: the pinkie pie adventures sprites actually were most likely taken from a computer program called "desktop ponies" ! where you can basically just make ponies from the show and even some fan ponies walk around ur computer screen that even has some minigames, they most likely got chosen because the creator of the sprites posted i think all of them on DA, not only that but im pretty sure thats also where the luna game 2 sprites come from !
18:17 this is obscure, but the enemies in this game look a lot like the enemy owlbear from the madou monogatari series, which is a japanese-exclusive rpg series. if you don't recognise it, you might know its puzzle game spinoff, puyo puyo. its interesting to see a reference to it in a video like this.
I just wanna say, I’m so happy you mentioned Legends of Equestria!! I remember as a kid everybody was interested in the game (around 2013-2014) and I remember rewatching beta test videos over and over again. It makes me sad knowing that it’s dead. To be fair, the golden age of MLP has been dead long before LOE’s release. But, I can’t help but feel like all the work the developers did was for nothing.
18:35 "...these little Sonic OC-looking guys" Oh my gosh, it's finally my time to shine This is Owlbear! From the somewhat-obscure Japanese rpg series, Madou Monogatari. Or if you prefer, its more popular spinoff competitive puzzle series, Puyo Puyo. (y'know how Persona is a Shin Megami Tensei spinoff? yeah same deal here) The resemblance is uncanny, so I'm 95% sure the creator used the Owlbear design from this series as their reference, rather than the actual Owlbear myth. Puyo Puyo is so obscure that I always get excited to see a reference of it in the wild, lmao
Looking at the colors and design I think they used a redrawn/smoothed version of a puyo puyo tsu animation, which would be the least obscure option they could have gotten it from. An extra fact about this owlbear is that it's actual origin is the msx game madoshi lulba, A game that was shown to audiences alongside the the original madou triology.
I haven't thought about Story of the Blanks in a decade! Can't believe it was so long ago now. It was a neat little game, I remember playing it one quiet summer night way back in 2012. "THE" big Minecraft Equestria map back then even had a creepy village inspired by Story of the Blanks hidden away in the Everfree Forest. IIRC there were signs with dialogue from the game written on them that guided you through it.
I See Brians Face in The Thumbnail and im already Like ,,oh Boy I have memories ... Interesting ones to say The least" (If ya Know you Know ... But If Not ... Banned from equestria ... If ya still dont Know then thats For The BETTER Probably)
@@nixienooo Well i Saw It when i was 12 i think ... But i already knew what and how ... ya Know worked ... But i still was Like ,,WHATS HAPPENING OMG" ... AND then i became a brony ... Yea ... I Liked how The Charakters we're Not in The you Know scenes but Just AS a whole ... Derpy was Just so CUTE even in a ya Know scene ... DERPY
Ponytown is literally a favorite game of mine, mostly due to the role play and making characters not mlp- I get to meet other osc members and even some fans of some underrated fandoms like InvestaGators! It’s mostly what I play on my laptop, and idk what I would do without it.
I think one major MLP mod fanbase you forget was TF2, Team Fortress 2. Although it's not really alive anymore, there were some really good asset replacement mods for characters and weapons. There were even mods that changed the fan-mode Versus Saxton Hale to Versus My Little Ponies, and they worked really well. Oh and an honorable mention would be some MLP mods for Skyrim. Imagine Fluttershy landing on Helgen's Keep instead of Alduin, and yay'ing all the guards to death.
Funny you mention that. I have a modded Skyrim/Fallout/MLP crossover story that basically acts like JoJo, and Twilight and co. are also a major driving point in the story as characters next to the main protagonists. And it all started thanks to Crimes against Nature for Fallout 4
I remember a Slender Pony game where you'd play as Derpy in a 2-bit environment. Eventually you'd come across a building and once you went inside, it would switch to 3D models. It scared me
Adding onto the ROBLOX part of the video, there used to be a game called TPP: The Pony Project which was essentially an MLP roleplaying game where you could either use a decal ID or pick a pony from the GUI they had. You could only roleplay as a pony due to Rule 12 but that didn't really stop people from roleplaying as non-ponies. The GUI consisted of the Mane 6, villains, and even some fanmade characters. You could teleport to five different places which were; Ponyville, Crystal Empire, Cloudsdale, Everfree Forest, Rainbow Factory, and Manehattan. The Ponyville map was small and only had Sugarcube Corner, Twilight's library, Fluttershy's house, Applejack's barn, The schoolhouse, town hall, and a couple of other houses. It had a bunch of secrets like Pinkie's basement in SCC and even some Fallout Equestria easter eggs. This was only the original version of the game, though, and was pretty big in 2013-2018. Around, or before, 2018 (can't really remember as it was a pretty long time ago) the original game was shut down and a new game transpired where Rule 12 was removed and everyone was free to roleplay as whoever they'd like. The game was shut down due to it's unfiltered chat which was in the original but soon came back. However, after a future ROBLOX update, the game completely broke and nobody was able to play it. There is an updated version that is still popular and working today! However, it's a huge difference when compared to the original which you can find videos of people making tutorials on RUclips if you search it up.
32:42 I haven't been on ponytown in months but the dsmp corner was vicious on the 18 plus server do not recommend, arguments about drama, pointing fingers on stealing skins and the people coming to that place just to say mean things to people who just enjoy a media while playing a pony game lmao
i also do not reccomend going to spawn area or mha/bnha area, while the mha area is just a spot where there's a lot of weird cosplayers fighting with eachother, spawn area is a spot where there are countless antis throwing unnecessary hate towards other fandoms and make excuses like "it's a joke". ah and yes, lots of stealers/copiers too. sometimes it is okay to stay in the mha/bnha area, just don't get yourself into people's conflicts. now spawn area? ...if it's rating lines, sure go ahead, join in, just don't create unnecessary trouble.
honestly need a video on how shit ponytown is nowadays.. spawn is so gd mean and theres no a single day without a fight there. ive watched so many people get harassed and bullied, and the only thing i can say to them is to use the hide feature. ppl on there just forget theyre taking to actual people.
There is a version of ponytown that is actually a fan game called Ashes Town. This is a Fallout Equestria game much like Ponytown but revolves more around the FoE books and roleplays. Very fun game and even has different customizations to fit a more post apocalyptic style.
there was an absolute banger of a platforming/fighting game called rise of the clockwork stallions. it was my absolute favourite mlp fan game when I was a kid because it was genuinely really well done. unfortunately the devs stopped working on it and took all of their mlp content off their website, probably in an attempt to distance themselves from mlp for future projects. I found a download that still works a couple months ago and I've been playing through it lately and I can't lie, it's still kind of great
@Justin Wescott I don't have the link on hand but if you look up MLP RCS director's cut 2020 (or something along those lines) you should be able to find it!! pretty sure the one I got was a mega link and it also had the dev's other mlp game called magic shards
banned from equestria daily was genuinely quite fun. i really felt like i was in equestria. i loved the music but didn't know it was stolen till this video. i really enjoyed the problem solving aspect. i kept forgetting it was a "clopping" game till i triggered the minigames. each time i'd go "haha pony sex" then click through the different poses and it would hit me that they genuinely get off on it. parts that made me super uncomfy were 1. derpy - can she even consent? 2. cmc - they don't show anything but i don't like what they imply. 3. nonconsensual stuff - zecora and the guards. 4. more on the guards- how after you earn that ending, words flash on screen calling you the f slur. 5. fluttershy.
@@CrazyGreenFluff no, i disagree. she's shown in this interpretation to be somewhat mentally disabled. i'm not trying to infantilized disabled people, but derpy has been shown to be childlike in mentality, especially in fan interpretations. when we meet deepy in the game, she's stuck in a post box. we then guide her in to performing oral sex. here's the kicker: she uses teeth. surely a consenting adult would know that down there is very sensitive. like yeah some inexperienced people will use teeth but she fullt just chomps down, not understanding. i think part of the "appeal" for that scene is that derpy needs to be taught. at least that's how it came across to me. tldr i dont think that she could consent as in this fan interpretation has her clearly unable to understand.
about the cmc if you click on the door twice you get an extra scene after beating the game where they're just tryna stand on top of each other to get cutie marks but fail miserably lmao
i remember watching a lets play of a my little dashie game, you could choose which pony you could take care of but if you didnt take care of them probably your baby pony could die and it kind of traumatized me a bit. im suprised i havent seen anyone talk about it, even whole videos about my little dashie never mentions it
I'd always loved My Little Investigations as a kid, and I'd totally forgotten about it til this video! I've been obsessed with Ace Attorney for two years now and recently have been spending almost all my time thinking about it. Seems like even little me knew what they liked
If you're still interested in this kinda thing (and haven't seen it already-), there's another mlp ace attorney crossover called "elements of justice" :D It's not a game tho, a series of videos
That Sega crystal pony game was a huge part of my early childhood! I still have fond memories of it, and how scared I was when the witch appeared but fought anyways.
28:14 i looked up the game and the music used in the version i found is just a slightly slowed down (and horribly off-tempo) version of "my little pony friends", an unused song from the original equestria girls movie that ended up being remixed into the actual opening credits theme
i love your vids. so nostalgic! mlp continues to be a special interest of mine and ill always be obsessed with it, which sucks with the dying fandom. thank you!
If I remember correctly the reason for the cease-and-desist for fighting is magic is because it was going to be at an evo that involved money so that’s why hasbro did it
I remember being tricked into playing banned from equestria as a kid,,,,"it's just a pony game" my friends said.. "you should play it" they said. never deleted a file and logged out of a school computer quicker
The part where you talk about fans making what fans want because they as fans know what others like them want in stuff like this reminded me of a quote I heard I forgot who it's from though " If there's a book you wanna read that hasn't been written yet, write it "
I just had a very vivid memory of a mlp fan game I played when I was a wee little 11 year old with unrestricted internet access. It was some edgy gore torture game of Applebloom basically going Cupcakes on DiamondTiara and SilverSpoon. I forgot where and how I found it, since it had been 8 years since ofc and substance situations, but I remember finding it with other spooky mlp fangames like Luna Game. An obscure memory that popped up again, but ey the world of mlp fangames sure is a bizarre journey
One fan game I remember playing is one where Rarity launches Spike on a catapult where Spike needs to pick up as many gems as he can. They even give you the option to make your own custom levels.
My first MLP game was "Banned from Equestria" which is NSFW i found it through youtube oddly enough it was uncensored which means youtube flagged it and no long available. I remember my player chatacter only got to DJpon3 and Apple Jack
I remember there was a different blank flanks MLP horror game where you had to either change the clock on your computer or play after midnight or 3AM or some spooky time like that to access the spooky part of the game, I think Zecora would try to protect you from going too deep into the forest before that time so you had to wait until she was asleep? It's been years and my memory is garbage, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't a runner up for the Equestria Daily competition.
I remember that game! I think it was called like, Super Filly Adventure or something? I remember trying to play it but for some reason i couldn't access the scary part lol
OMG you brought up elements if insanity? Thats like, one of my biggest nostalgia intakes! Btw like half of this video was pure nostalgia for me and it was a joy to watch!!
One other game I would like to highlight is D'LIRIUM, which may not count as a fangame of MLP despite the obvious inspiration from G4, and the fact that it was released on Steam. Like Luna Game and Story of the Blanks, it's a horror game, but rather than being a small platformer or adventure horror game, it's a survival horror game ala Resident Evil or Left 4 Dead. From what I've seen, it only has a playerbase of a couple thousand people. While the game can be pretty difficult, especially trying to get the full experience with the achievements, alternate endings, and gamemodes, I cannot recommend it enough. More people need to play this game.
fun fact, another fanmade game is coming out in the upcoming years. The Ponies! A Sims-like game but for ponies. I have been watching its progress for half a decade now.
I remember seeing titles and thumbnails for Banned from EQD video. I knew enough about life to know it was inappropriate and so never watched them. It was really bothersome seeing them constantly in the suggested videos sections before and after watching a video at full screen. All I could do was do my best to completely ignore them.
Me and my friends used to play a custom 2d pony roleplaying game in roblox. It was by the pony project and was the most popular. It had a super detailed ponyville as well as a full crystal castle, the everfree, and even sunnyville. You could put in your custom code and get your own pony put in. I wish it was still up but i remember there being a lot of drama behind it.
All of your stuff has been a huge nostalgia trip, but this one especially so. God these games made up my adolescence. Pretty much all of these I have strong memories of.
I dont know how much this one counts but I remember back when the first Amnesia game was popular someone made a creepy mlp story/mod for it and the premise was loosely about the player avoiding the mane 6 cause they became creepy and evil. Then it ended with nonsensical stuff at the final level. Edit: it was briefly mentioned
Oh yeah, also, my friend Hirosashii is still the world's only champion of the original Fighting is Magic. (as far as I know at least?) There was that tournament held at Canterlot Gardens back in 2012 and he won it.
yess ive been so excited for your new video !! i absolutely freaking love mlp (it's my special interest). i love getting stoned out of my mind and watching your long mlp vids like this lol, they always cheer me up. keep up the amazing content !! i love ur vids
I played a lot of Legends of Equestria when I was 8-9 years old. As far as I remember, it was an unofficial Russian server that wasn't updated and was on a rather old version of the game, where there was a broken / unfinished battle mechanics, most of the quests were not available, and all the ponies spawned as adults when created. The players there were about the same age as the players in Pony Town are today. I was interested in the game because of the large locations, great music, the ability to create your own pony, and of course, because of the good opportunity for RP. It's funny though that I rarely did RP with other players, and most of the time I just wrote the thoughts and actions of the character in the local chat. And when someone else tried to write something themselves in that chat, I yelled at them until they left. Haha, yes, I was a very toxic child. I also remember that Sugarcane Corner and Ponyville were the most densely populated locations. There were a lot of people in Ponyville trying to complete the tiny number of quests that were available. In the Sugarcane Corner, all the "coolest" guys were hanging out, who were older than most of the players and discussed various brony things. They also liked to wear Fluffle Puff costumes (and yes, the item purchase system in that version was also broken, so all things could be obtained for free). I also remember there were several RP groups. Of these, I remember the Warrior Cats the most, who constantly kicked me out of the local chat in the Everfree Forest. I have many more memories of this game. My favorite game there was hide and seek, and I often invited random players to play it with me; I often flew around Canterlot hoping to find Tomo - a popular Russian ponytuber - although she always played on the official English server and never went to the one where I played; I remember how, using teleports, I and other players got to the Castle Ruins in the Everfree Forest, "crawling" under an invisible wall over the abyss and climbing along the opposite bank, and then sat on a pedestal with elements of Harmony and made screenshots; I remember how we all envied the official server, where the Crystal Empire was already created, but because we didn't know English, we couldn't download it (or we were just too lazy to do that); And there were many, many other things. There was a whole community in this game with its own structure, rules and myths. I have already written too much text here, and only a few people will notice my comment, so there is no point in describing here every unique or funny feature of the Russian LoE community. Finally, I want to add that I still play LoE from time to time (on the official server), and the situation there is far from being the best. On the technical side, the game has become much more interesting and varied, but you'll be lucky if you run into two or three players in Ponyville or the Heartlands, leveling their skills, or if you manage to catch a few old-timers sitting on a bench in the center of Ponyville. The saddest thing is to see an empty Sugarcane Corner where remixes of MLP songs are still playing. All I want to say is please play LoE. At least try it. If you like it, invite your friends there. There are very few people on the LoE development team right now, and no one wants to be hired by them. The official forum of the game is silent, except for the thread with news and updates (yes, the game is still being updated). I hope someday LoE will become popular again and gain an active player base. So please try LoE. I don't want this game to fall into oblivion and cease to be developed. And thanks for reading this whole huge wall of text :)

I’m pretty sure velvet is rarity?
For 28:15 from what I hear that’s actually the deleted credits song for the first Equestria Girls movie before it was replaced with “A Friend For Life”. I’m not sure if that’s misinformation however
Here's 2 creepy games you forgot Shunks:
Rainbow EXE (Made by JBM)
Smoldless EXE (Made by Tarkan809)
No slenderman mlp game? :(
Still amazes me that Lauren Faust herself helped Fighting is Magic to become something new through her own character designs, that's pretty cool
She must have felt identified with the burn Hasbro gave the Mane 6 developers
She’s a creative through and through, and seeing other creatives inspired by your work getting bullied out of their fair shake would spur anyone like that to help
pony town is a lot of fun for people watching but i genuinely feel like its missing something without any minigames
bullying people on there is fun lol

@@scribblecloud I mostly go on the event server whenever there's an event going on. Everfree Northwest is the next event coming next Friday.
I remember being so disappointed that I never got to play Fighting is Magic. But TFH's original character designs look amazing! I'm glad the project got given a new life, even without Hasbro's copyrighted characters.
How's has the production of them's fightin herds been going? It's a full game out yet or is it still in production?
@@kittykittybangbang9367 Yup, and two days ago or so they released the date when the console versions are coming out.
I'm glad TFH is being released on the Switch now. I always wanted to play it.
I actually found a working download on a sketchy looking thread last year both the tribute and complete edition
I played it with my friend on the bus on my laptop occasionally
It actually still works too.
Yeah that was the first time I was ever exposed to nsfw. I saw a let's play on RUclips with queen chrysalis going down on the player character.
I was a kid and i did not understand it first, now... GOD WHAT THE-
I remember being downright terrified of my mom finding out I watched something NSFW. I thought she'd ban me from ever watching the show again if she did. Weird time to look back on.
I myself honestly look fondly back on the memories of this game. Yes, it affected me a bit too, but I loved seeing fucked up shit and pron so I don't regret it. The most fucked up thing I've ever seen is a Halloween special of this game (if you don't know, you don't wanna know trust me)
Makes me remember when my parents thought I was watching mlp pron on my laptop, when in reality I was really just watching a RUclips video of someone playing mlp browser games (the title and thumbnail of the video was very suggestive so I guess they just assumed it was pron without even checking what was the video)
They got angry and said they hate my little pony and they left
i joined on 2022, now i have a les freind thats amazin and a suicidal one👍

I am waiting for it to be released since it is so well made

I was the person who voiced Discord in the Funkin is Magic mod! I didn't join the fandom until 2018 so it's awesome to be a part of such a cool project and to do impressions of the characters I love. I have so much respect for all the talented and passionate developers who are still making new games. Also aside from Discord, I voiced Button mash for a DLC song that will come out later! So there's definitely more to come hehe :D
Yo!!! I like your job😊,your dub of discord is so cool😎
Holy shit I remember this!!
I could never finish that game
I played that on newgrounds recently! 😃
what the fuck is your spelling
I remember stumbling upon Story of the Blanks when I was a kid! I couldn't get past the part where everyone turned into zombies for the first time, so I got frustrated and stopped playing it lol. I keep meaning to dig it back up from whatever website(s) it's still hosted on and try to actually finish it. Maybe I'll actually know what's going on well enough to be scared by it this time!
I think I’ve only finished that game once lol. It’s a great game tho.
Omg yeah I loved that game lol
I was an emo ass little Creepypasta kid, but I couldn’t handle jumpscares so I played Story of the Blanks over and over again-
10:08 Excuse this mess, for I was a 13 year old child when I started that whole thing, and it originally wasn't supposed to be more than a single video.
I distinctly remember Flippy getting stabbed and Creepybloom finding a towel to plug the bleeding.
wait that was u? noice!!
Heartbreaking honestly, that game had so much promise with characters, gameplay, and the story mode.
Iirc, the game’s player base died down due to the lack of content and few updates, plus the poor optimization (especially on mobile).
If it the one I was playing I remember it with all the roleplay as well as other Roblox MLP games like that Wich was fun I loved the FNAF one too felt cool to be the characters but sadly it isn't on Roblox anymore
I remember playing canterlot siege 2 on my random brand tablet as a kid and never being able to get passed the first boss.
there is also a game called "no touching" that i remember playing a lot in my childhood, you poke tsumtsum-esque ponies with a finger in it

Fighting is Magic was hype as fuck and is a catalyst for me getting more into fighting games when it's C&D was announced

18:35 "...these little Sonic OC-looking guys"
Oh my gosh, it's finally my time to shine
This is Owlbear! From the somewhat-obscure Japanese rpg series, Madou Monogatari. Or if you prefer, its more popular spinoff competitive puzzle series, Puyo Puyo.
(y'know how Persona is a Shin Megami Tensei spinoff? yeah same deal here)
The resemblance is uncanny, so I'm 95% sure the creator used the Owlbear design from this series as their reference, rather than the actual Owlbear myth.

I remember that TF2 mod.I still have some screenshots from those days haha
Funny you mention that.
I have a modded Skyrim/Fallout/MLP crossover story that basically acts like JoJo, and Twilight and co. are also a major driving point in the story as characters next to the main protagonists.

It was my childhood!
I found a download that still works a couple months ago and I've been playing through it lately and I can't lie, it's still kind of great
That is one of my favourites I even got to start modding it which is fun.
@Justin Wescott I don't have the link on hand but if you look up MLP RCS director's cut 2020 (or something along those lines) you should be able to find it!! pretty sure the one I got was a mega link and it also had the dev's other mlp game called magic shards
I was watching your creepypasta video when I got the notification :)
banned from equestria daily was genuinely quite fun. i really felt like i was in equestria. i loved the music but didn't know it was stolen till this video. i really enjoyed the problem solving aspect. i kept forgetting it was a "clopping" game till i triggered the minigames. each time i'd go "haha pony sex" then click through the different poses and it would hit me that they genuinely get off on it.
parts that made me super uncomfy were 1. derpy - can she even consent? 2. cmc - they don't show anything but i don't like what they imply. 3. nonconsensual stuff - zecora and the guards. 4. more on the guards- how after you earn that ending, words flash on screen calling you the f slur. 5. fluttershy.
derpy just cant see very well, its really offensive that you'd ask if she can consent. of course she can. /nm just informing u!!
@@CrazyGreenFluff i agree but in the game i think it's very heavily implied that she's in some way mentally disabled
i remember watching a lets play of a my little dashie game, you could choose which pony you could take care of but if you didnt take care of them probably your baby pony could die and it kind of traumatized me a bit. im suprised i havent seen anyone talk about it, even whole videos about my little dashie never mentions it
I'd always loved My Little Investigations as a kid, and I'd totally forgotten about it til this video! I've been obsessed with Ace Attorney for two years now and recently have been spending almost all my time thinking about it. Seems like even little me knew what they liked
If you're still interested in this kinda thing (and haven't seen it already-), there's another mlp ace attorney crossover called "elements of justice" :D
It's not a game tho, a series of videos
@@magicpotato9928 I'm pretty sure I've heard of it! But I haven't checked it out, totally forgot about it, thanks for the reminder!
@@StrabbyStrabby Hehe no problem!!
17:33 WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABT THE PURPLE PONY WITH LYRA AND BON BON IN THE ONE OF THE TOP CORNERS?
That Sega crystal pony game was a huge part of my early childhood! I still have fond memories of it, and how scared I was when the witch appeared but fought anyways.
28:14 i looked up the game and the music used in the version i found is just a slightly slowed down (and horribly off-tempo) version of "my little pony friends", an unused song from the original equestria girls movie that ended up being remixed into the actual opening credits theme
"Pinkie's the alpaca" *Show's Velvet- whos is reindeer- instead of Paprika-*
Wat?
i love your vids. so nostalgic! mlp continues to be a special interest of mine and ill always be obsessed with it, which sucks with the dying fandom.
The part where you talk about fans making what fans want because they as fans know what others like them want in stuff like this reminded me of a quote I heard I forgot who it's from though " If there's a book you wanna read that hasn't been written yet, write it "
pony town is honestly just a chatroom with some spice
"pinkie pie is the alpaca"
pulls up the rarity esc reindeer XD
Super Filly Adventures!
Woo, nice video, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your content. I forgot all about the Pony Tower Defense, haha.
I love pony town and still do! It’s basically the my little pony animal jam!
23:50 my favorite game! I used to play it in my childhood. I so miss that time
Me and my friends used to play a custom 2d pony roleplaying game in roblox.
I swear there was a fan game that started in canterlot castle and had a pony in a rain suit who ate fish..
Fiends from Dream Valley? I remember that, it got cancelled and I was so sad about it lol
@@Crossmare_Harlie07 YEAH OMG ty I’ve been searching for it everywhere 😭
@@vamprock5118 Np, glad I could help!
"pinkie is an alpaca" you say as you show the reindeer counterpart to rarity
i honestly really do hope LoE gets more exposure after this, I miss playing and seeing it come back would be really cool!
