Looks great, but I don’t want to buy products from companies that don’t offer Walksnail builds. The suspicion that they’ve allowed themselves to be bullied by DJI is too great.
Following the link to the website, front page lists the 'Without 03' version, down the bottom of that page is the with 03 and with Walksnail versions. Assuming US dollars, with the Walksnail video gear, and then choosing a Radiomaster ELRS receiver, set of arm guards, two spare arms and 2 bags of props, price goes from US$355 to US$396.95 (minus shipping), or AU$633.40,.... So still way less then buying all the bits and paying someone to assemble it, and about the price of the DJI Mini 2 SE Fly More combo. Seems like pretty good value. If it's possible to add one of the Walksnail gimbals, it'd be a pretty decent unit to use for video production, without all the rigmarole of registration with DJI to activate products.
Hard to compare to a Mini 2 Fly More. 1) Completely different type of drones in flight and camera set up. 2) The Mini 2 comes with the controller and 3 batteries.
So they buy a new when when they crash the old one. Is flying without risking a crash fun? Then maybe this one is for you. although theres been a few BNF's available that were quiet exceptional, hglrc's xjb 145 for one. still have one on the shelf! Dont get too fly much anymore though. its maybe been about 2 years since i've flown anything :(
Love the video. Great review guys. As many other comments, I'm with them on Walksnail. The market is flooded with DJI. Unfortunately it will continue this way with newer units coming out. I agree that 3.5 and smaller is where it's at for me as well. However it's up there on price for me. Even though this is about the range all are coming in at these days.
Perhaps the expectation they will sell more of the recognized name of the DJI equipped? Could also depend on availability of spare stock that they can write down as a freebie to reviewers.

I'm a builder that still buys BNF"s just to rebuild them when I break sometime. You can't have a pile of BNF's without knowing how to rebuild them
