- All of the commercials (That I could find) featuring the 2nd Orbit Gum Girl, Farris Patton. Vanessa will always be my favorite but Farris still had her own unique version of the character and still keeps the Orbit Girl a fun and memorable mascot.

Whoever created the Orbit commercials was a freaking genius with a fantastic sense of humor!
As a kid I always assumed the lady was actually British, but now that I’m watching them back as an adult it’s really obvious that she’s an American making her best attempt at a British accent.

I just listened to her on I am all in podcast. She's American but was raised in England. She said she can go in and out of her accent. But holy shit I never would have guessed she was American! My mind is blown
I saw her 9/17/22 @ Ancient City Con (St. Augustine, Florida)meeting fans and signing autographs. Her booth was next to Andrew Robinson, (Elim Garrick) from Star Trek: Deep Space 9.

I was a kid when this campaign came out and I loved it, maybe I just thought the lady was pretty. I buy orbit as an adult and it occurred to me the other day that it’s probably cause of these adds.

Vanessa Branch becomes a great Orbit advert spokesperson. No wonder, Orbit is the gum for those teeth who are dirty.

If memory serves me correctly, they simply wanted a change. They had been doing this style of ads since the early 2000s. The new formula that followed after were using various celebrities talking to animated food characters "hanging around" such as coffee or pizza. They were also trying to use the same scenarios and sets for Spanish speaking audiences and just using new actors. But those ads clearly didn't work out and theve been using different formulas for ads ever since including the zombie necrophillia one...
