Yes, Ouija is terrible. The prequel is much better. You mentioned Mike Flanagan - have you seen The Haunting of Hill House series? It is loosely based on the Shirley Jackson novel. I know you watched the '63 movie this past Halloween. The series is very different, but it draws a lot of dialogue from the original source and Flanagan puts his own spin on it.
Classics can definitely be... interesting to watch in the present day! I watched Spidermand No Way Home, John Wick 4, Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness, and Barbie in 2023 (yes, that really is it) and Dr Strange is the worst from that list. I couldn't pick a best tbh
Ever since I heard chamalala was playing wonka I was like NO that is not right, not the right casting at all. And the trailer looked so bad?? So I have no interest in watching it. Oh my goodness and it is a musical as well? Even worse. Stop casting a-list actors in musicals, just get!! people!! who can actually!! sing!! This is why I loved the colour purple. Every single side character in that film could sing. Also, I prefer the johnny depp version more as well than the wilders one 👀 we can sit with out tea opinions together. Twilight film director being on the nativity story ;.; i bet stepehenie meyer saw those creditentials and was like, we got a religious one let's goooo. Hotel opened 15 days a year... sure 🙄
