It's primarily used for anti sniper duties when you need the range of .50 bmg and the power to penetrate wherever the sniper is hiding while not risking someone poking their head out to use the .50 cal mounted on the top. Also the "collateral is my favorite kind of damage" line is from the siege tank in SCII
"Rock and roll" is something the Marines say. A better line would've been "Ready to roll out!", "Proceeding!", or "Delighted to, sir!" I think they missed some opportunities by not using lines such as "Identify target", "Need something blown up?", "Got no patience for sitting around!", "This'll be a blast!", "Music to my ears!", or "It's BOOM time!"

if you're taking suggestions, could you try doing a op as the security team on the Ishimura during the initial outbreak as I'd love to see the pure nightmare of dealing with necromorphs coming out of the vents when you're just trying to make it through the multi kilometer long ship to 1 blow the reactor and 2 get to the landing bays to evac, bonus points if the op ends with a fight down on the panet bellow the ishimura which got overrun with a colony's worth of necromorphs

Honestly, I really enjoy the "desert storm, but also JUST far enough into the future for SOME cool stuff to start to appear" vibe this operation had. The Orcas and fictional tanks looked just plausible enough that you could have roughed up their textures and sold them as real things. There's also something inherently funny to operators with riced out SOPMOD M4s fighting over giant World of Warcraft magic crystals.
the boat scene reminds me of an op i had a few months back, the idea was to load up some cargo and armored trucks into the boats and extract in them, well it was more of an ejection as the boats proceded to make 0 to light speed in 0.1 seconds and kill everyone on board
