Not our first time fighting a rogue AI and most likely not the last! This op also managed to capture that special part of Arma where it makes you feel part of a massive conflict that’s going on around you, especially flying between the advancing sections as recon. Hopefully this video captures a little of that!
10:30 Who would win? An advanced rogue intelligent AI capable of producing futuristic tech that rivals things you’d see only in science fiction or some 19 year olds in a Bradley listening to rock music (spoiler: it’s the latter)
I love the more chill opening to the video with the limited number of people. It makes the Cyberpunk-themed transition into normal Ignis chaos hit so much harder! Also, what is it about Bradley crews and just being built fucking different? 7:22 I can't believe John Tails is dead IRL. This is so sad :(
Really loved this op and this entire vibe; that there's a much larger conflict that the players, limited in number, are supporting rather than actively participating in. Identify enemy armor before it hits friendly armor flank and that sort of thing.
10:30 so let me get this straight, a singular friendly armor charged into the enemy lines, destroyed 2 entrenched tanks, finished the objective of destroying the corvettes and survived? we should do that more often!
I think if AI wanted to destroy humanity it'd find a more expedient method than war, but war does look cooler than evaporating the atmosphere or something like that.
Well I think usually it's less about destroying humanity and more about bringing peace to the world. So destroying the world would be kinda counter productive
Asimov's laws in this universe were more Asimov's suggestions and so Ai did what humans do when they see rules and regulations that seem silly... Ignored em!
Absolutely love the editing in these videos. From the epic moments like the airfield raid at 11:45, to the random nonsense that usually either has something to do with Tails fabricating a new sound, or logi doing something unholy. Mad respect for the time and effort put into these.
That was one hell of an operation! Seeing so many of the joint forces fight both along and far away from the scouts was amazing. Also props for whoever designed the robot with a skull for a head it looks badass! The Bradley rampage was also great!
I have to admit, I like the little 'after-action report' at the end of the video, it was a nice touch. Reiterated what the objectives of this mission were, and shows just how badly it can go.

Ignis fighting a bunch or rebels: disorganized and chaotic
