I'm fairly jealous. Its been mid 40s and raining by me for about a week straight. Not only is that uninviting weather but most of the rivers around here are quite high and fast right now. Hope to get a couple more good paddles in before winter sets in but Ill have to wait and see.

Gators leave you alone, they just want to soak up the sun. I took my young daughter on a kayak ride down the Silver River where we saw gators, turtles, monkeys, manatees and mullet jumping out of the water. The both of us enjoyed it.

Yeah, in Florida you would be accompanied by hundreds of yahoo’s. I did a Florida springs float back in the 70s and even back then it was ridiculous. I can’t imagine what it’s like now 🙁

The monkeys escaped during movie shoots. I believe they were Tarzan movies starring Johnny Weissmuller.
Went on a camping trip there a few years back. The water was great. Except for the mosquitoes, had 100 plus bites.
Any fish in there I’m heading to Oregon in two weeks.
Some browns but hard to catch. Big rainbows from the Williamson River swim up in the mouth of spring crk to lay in the cooler water in the summer
