So true, if it weren’t for the amazing Olivia Coleman, I’d rather just forget that series exists. I do hope that we get a Hulkling though and maybe, because he’s only 16, they just didn’t want Billy to already be in a relationship with his future hubby. 🤷🏻♀️
Aubrey did such an incredible performance in this show hope to see her back in the screen, would have liked a post credit showing death visually frustrated after the fight because of ghost Agatha, Tommy now reincarnated. Not having him in the show I'm ok with it just cause it would've added to the list of characters we haven't seen since they were introduced
I think it's good for them to cut the scene of death following Agatha and Billy only because if nothing ever develops further then the last thing we see of them is death looming behind them. And it Will feel more like a bad Omen than an Easter egg for the future.
I don't think it’s a huge reveal. Rio creates life. We see Wanda creating her sons ( well, creating the souls) without a man. Plus Nicholas looks an awful lot like Aubrey. My question is, does Death have zero consequences? She gave Agatha special treatment and time with Nicholas. She was extremely lenient with taking William’s soul ( gave her a choise between Agatha’s soul or Billy’s) and now I'm pretty sure Tommy’s soul wont be going to the Underworld/ great beyond. does she receive punishment after doing this? I did enjoy Audrey Plaza as Rio/Death and her performance as a crazy bruja was great. No clunkiness at all.
the consequence is most likely the sacred balance being uneven which maybjust bug her or may become like a domino effect where countless consequences from it
I would be interested in seeing Death's siblings (Eternity, Infinity, and Oblivion) rib her on these mishaps. I imagine those family meetings can't be fun for Lady Death XD.
Kit Connor fits perfectly for Hulkling. Seriously, just like on previous films they cast actors that actually look like the character, Connor looks like Hulkling. Blonde, squared jaw, built, and has worked with Joe before so.. Just make it happen Marvel!
@@TipeneThorner yeah and I think it's a good thing. I love Hearstopper (I called Teen "Charlie" in my head during all the first part of the season lol), but let's them have separate projects.
I'm glad they cut it. Rio's last shoot telling Billy to go was creepy and sad. I like having that as her last moment on camera. It's like she wanted privacy to morn Agatha.
Perhaps an agatha season 2 is where we follow Billy & Ghost agatha looking for Tommy. I believe that agatha and rio could be the parents of nick. They had him ethier thru magic or using one of them and man perhaps Mephisto. Favorite Hero: Batman
I really want Nicolas to be a product of a deal with Mephisto. Being stillborn is exactly the kind of thing you would expect from making a deal with the proverbial devil. Why would Rio create a child out of love just to kill it before it was even born?
I would really like to see her reaction to the Blip. From the POV of Elena that we got in Hawkeye, it seems that death didn't take the snapped people but that they kind of "teleported 5 years to the future" (from their POV). But maybe Death did take them. And then had to give them back... Can you imagine? :D
The Young Avengers will be in their 40's by the time Disney gets to them... Just get the MVS over with, reboot and then do everything properly and with a PLAN. And I Adore Rio and Aubrey Plaza, but no. We do Not need another fluff show for Death, a character that just does not make sense at this point to give a show to and honestly, would be better served used in Movies and cameos. Death is NOT a character that needs their own show or movie. Just like so many others since phase 4, Just like Echo. We did Not need that. We did not need a Half baked Secret Invasion for the sake of Secret Invasion. Just my 2 cents, but really, think about it and the Big Picture of things.
Idk, me personally, I would LOVE a Death show. She could literally interact with any character that's died before. Captain America, Black Widow, Thanos, etc. That would be fun to see and also to get more info on her and Agatha. I also very much enjoyed Echo. Besides it being an interesting story about her, we got more story about Kingpin, some Daredevil also. I do agree Secret Invasion sucked, though. I liked the action of the last half, but it just felt so boring to get through, as much as I like Nick Fury. Everyone sees it differently, but I do love having so many options of shows and films to watch. It mirrors the comics. You go to a comic shop on new release Wednesday and it's FULL of character solo stories, team stories, etc. And like the comics, you don't have to read/watch them all. Each product will resonate with a different audience anyways. However, I do think when Young Avengers hits, it's gonna be cool! Think Endgame, it took us a long string of films to get to that. The buildup is part of what makes it fun, for me anyway.
Buddy, it’s been nearly 20 years, most people are plenty aware there are more than five Marvel characters now. Also, the weirdly still persistant idea in this century that 20-somes aren’t young aside, LBR, literally all that would mean is we get to the wedding quicker. 😊
For the Death following them shot, that was a little disappointing to cut that. The way u framed that sounds fun, making her a reoccurring figure with them. I love the idea of this show getting a season 2. If that's actually in the cards. The Hulkling cut stinks. This place seemed like a good spot to intro him. But not have him do the Skrull thing. Like maybe save that for season 2, that way you get Hulking and Speed taken care of all at once. I originally assumed Hulkling would show up as one of the skrulls at the Skrull safe haven places in Secret Invasion. But I'm kind of glad they didn't do that. That show was very disappointing, I really wanted more from that and didn't like how Marvel handled that storyline. I'm curious to see how they make a Death mini series. I don't think I see them bringing RDJ or Scarjo in this. They sound a little expensive. And I don't know if Disney wants to pay them the high price tag. I could almost see RDJ in this if that contract they got for him to play Doom and do a few things like ride stuff. Not sure if they included stuff like mini series. Would love it if they had him in it, but don't think they'll do it. I'd love to see Death reject Thanos, but not do the full thing from the comics. I love Rio's relationship with Agatha. But I also hope she has some form of affection for Deadpool as well and they have some weird fun relationship. I just don't want to Smash the other ship. I kind of want both ships if possible. But not sure if that works.
i hope its just a small reference for thanos and rios relationship, like they have all these slight nods to her and agatha relationship an nods to agathas sexuality- so i hope if we see rio again theres some slight nod about her sexuality and maybe could be like thanos is an example of her being bisexual or smthn ykno lol idk
Aubry is great as death, But a huge point of her character is her her ability to be fairly neutral about almost anything. The only time in the comics she isn't seems to be regarding when she falls in love. So death is a character in a show like Agatha where she has scenes with someone she used to be in love with works very well. But outside of that she doesn't have a major character and she's way too powerful. She's ultimate. You can't Nerf her. She's death. Her weakness is occasionally being in love with things and people. Other than that, the show would just be her collecting bodies. Escorting them through a door. I would certainly love to see her in a bunch of marvel things where she shows up and is just death in the marvel universe constantly in different shows. That would be awesome. But I don't think she needs to be in her own show
Ignoring the obvious fact most of these actors are already in their 20s aside, it’s the 21st century, pal, we don’t die in our 30s anymore. 😂 Besides, the older they are, the less time we have to wait for the wedding. 😊
If they do make a Death series I would much rather find out more about her history with Agatha there’s still so many unanswered questions about their relationship. We know why Agatha ended up hating Rio but we know next to nothing about what happened before that. Like how did they meet, how is Rio as Death tolerating Agathas mass murders (I personally think there is two options here either Rio doesn’t judge the morality of it and just does her job or the murders are part of why she wants Agatha dead because they helped Agatha extend her life and she was actually supposed to die a long time ago) and also what did their adventure that are mentioned in Ep 4 entail? There’s so much potential material there to build both of these characters backgrounds more I would really love to see it
Agatha hates death (Rio) to the point that she said when I die I don't wanna see your face. Going forward there won't be any interaction between the two unless it's flash backs
Is Nicholas not Death and Agathas child? I thought it was implied that becasue he is a child of death this is why he is still-born. Agatha gets more time with him but ultimately he was men't to go with death from birth
2:45 She said he was created from scratch without a spell. I assumed no magic was used. My theory is because of that Death has to take him assuming that was against the rules
I would love a series of just death collecting all the souls of the people that died in the MCU. But on the other hand we already had scenes of characters that just "woke up" after death, like Jane Foster in Thor Love and Thunder and Steven Grant in Moonknight. But just Death chatting with all the MCU characters would be grat!
I do think we're gonna get a Thanos & death scene because in the comics he does the snap just to impress her but it would be cool to see Thanos make Deadpool immortal to keep him from dying and away from flirting with Death (his crush)☺
I actually don’t think Rio was trying to kill Agatha. Billy had just agreed to go with her so she was ready to take him and then Agatha decided to save Billy and give in to her feelings for Rio (at least momentarily). She distracts Rio and I think she actually tries to take some of Rios power, which I think could have multiple motivations. Rio doesn’t want Agatha dead the way she is right now. She wants her accessible to her, so either alive or fully dead. Rio cries when Agatha dies cause she clearly didn’t get what she wanted to happen.
Now while im not opposed to the idea of rio being the "father" agatha specifically said to nickie "I spoke no spell, i said no incantation, you i made from scratch." When he was born, so the idea they made him together with magic can't b trye but death technically is a genderless being so while rio looks female whats to say she doesn't have male genitalia or can swap if she chooses.
I never understood why Agatha couldn’t face Nicolas Scratch. Because she would have to explain that she was killing witches to keep his life force going? Why was she guilty to face her own son whom she loved and protected at all costs?
They needed to tie in the whole Agatha is a mentor to the Scarlet Witch part of the comics too, so Billy is going to be a surrogate in that aspect. Agatha is going to be a mentor to Billy in ghost form, rather than how it I in the comics.
Im sure marvel has a specific plan for all young avengers characters maybe an updated plan with hulkling after resukof secret invasion not having death follow them at thecend was probably because of the fear of another unanswered thread marvel has keft in many places but the reception to death has now changed
If Death would be pissed off with anyone, you’d think it’d be the Avengers. When Thanos collected all 6 Infinity Stones in Infinity War, he used them to kill half of all life throughout the universe. Then 5 years later in Endgame, the surviving heroes travel back in time to get the stones in the past after Thanos destroyed them in the present, and used them to resurrect everyone who was taken. Trillions of dead people being brought back to life is definitely something you wouldn’t think Death would ignore
Idc if Thanos and death exist. She used him, had no interest in him. Her and Agatha had a better relationship Deadpool like it wild, but h found a gal.
Eddie could still be Teddy. Agatha is now at Billy's side and she likes to mispronounce or change people's names. She could simply say "Is that you boyfriend Teddy?" and they would be enough of a confimation that MCU's Eddie is the adaptation of Teddy. Also, nobody seems to have noticed that in the final scene, Agatha said Tommy's name correctly!
So we have the personification of the Demiurge/Life aka Billy/Wiccan and we have a rumoured spinoff about the hunt for Speed/Tommy aka the personification of Time. Imagine Time/Speed/Tommy and Life/the Demiurge/Billy/Wiccan fighting Rio Vidal aka Lady Death
I'd love to see the army Death is building. It would be great to see The Coven come back and battle Agatha and Billy. Agatha could pull them all over and REALLY piss off Death.
As much as I'd love to see Hulkling. I agree with Marvel. Theres already alot of character introduced that we haven't seen anymore of. We dont need to be adding more and more. Lets flesh out many of what we already have. Feige knows this. Im sure this is the reason. Doesnt mean new characters can't show up. But for now. Let's build some more groundwork with what we have.
I think they should have still introduced him cause now we expect Billy bf to be him and unless they give him another bf it would have made more sense to just introduce him as hawkling. Or some clue
I don’t think death came for Natasha since she was a soul stone sacrifice hence why there was no bringing her back by any means maybe the stone took her soul straight up as payment hence why her body was lifeless without it just a theory lol
Wasn't Agatha All Along promoted as a mini-series in the same way as WandaVision, as in a one-and-done? Now that doesn't mean they might not make another mini-series; but it won't be Agatha...Technically her story is done.
I would love to see a spin off of Death. How Death deal with Thanos snap. She collects billions of souls and then let them alive again? How she would deal with this..
Im almost positive in the show, Agatha herself says he was made without magic. When she was giving birth to him, so its unlikely that Rio and Agatha created him.
What is Death when Fate is involved? Alice should have been returned to the Coral shore to fulfill her destiny. Or Billy could have forced Death to return Alice.
Young avengers 😂😂😂 by the time we see this they’ll be the Avengers cause the current avengers that’ll show up In doomsday and secrets wars will all die lol
I think it's also evident when Nicky said "my mother needs me"
And death came that night
And he was wearing green.
He was referring to Agatha. She was pretending to be a stranger

I think I would prefer to see Rio/Death as a character that pesters them, and someone else as the main villain.
I think it's good for them to cut the scene of death following Agatha and Billy only because if nothing ever develops further then the last thing we see of them is death looming behind them. And it Will feel more like a bad Omen than an Easter egg for the future.
agatha all along was such a surprise hit to me. i didn't expect to like it at all
Samson’s…started off kinda slow but the build up and the way it connected things and had a great story line and heart was a great surprise
me too! I was telling my friends that this show on Disney+ was actually REALL GOOD. I binged it.
I’m pretty sure that her and the cosmic entities don’t actually have consequences because they basically are the laws of nature.
the consequence is most likely the sacred balance being uneven which maybjust bug her or may become like a domino effect where countless consequences from it
I would be interested in seeing Death's siblings (Eternity, Infinity, and Oblivion) rib her on these mishaps. I imagine those family meetings can't be fun for Lady Death XD.
Tbf Agatha and Rio promised abt Billy’s not Tommy. It was Billy or Agatha. So I think Rio might just go and try to find Tommy anyway
Kit Connor fits perfectly for Hulkling.
Seriously, just like on previous films they cast actors that actually look like the character, Connor looks like Hulkling. Blonde, squared jaw, built, and has worked with Joe before so..
Just make it happen Marvel!
No. No. No. No. No.
Even the actors themselves have said Kit doesn't want to be Hulkling.
Kit has said he doesnt want to be Hulkling, or constantly paired alongside Joe
@@TipeneThorner yeah and I think it's a good thing. I love Hearstopper (I called Teen "Charlie" in my head during all the first part of the season lol), but let's them have separate projects.
Kit Connor is a perfect Captain Britain I think 😍
I really hope Young Avengers comes along before some of these kids age out. I don’t want to see 35 year-olds playing 16-year-olds
Awesome Video Warren!!! I assumed Rio was the other "parent" anyway it just makes it hit harder and makes more sense narratively. Woof Woof!
I really want Nicolas to be a product of a deal with Mephisto. Being stillborn is exactly the kind of thing you would expect from making a deal with the proverbial devil. Why would Rio create a child out of love just to kill it before it was even born?
Can't forget the "agent of Mephisto" line.
I don’t read it as death does the killing. Dying happens and Rio as Death takes them to the next realm.
@@cosmictruthtortoiseRed herring.
Nicholas IS Mephisto. Rio raised him out of love for Agatha.
Monica Rambeau/Photon needs and deserves her own Disney + series
"black girl magic"
Aubrey played the part SO well.
Imagine we saw a scene with Death and Thanos.
Imagine it as the ending of a montage of Aubrey Plaza courting genocidal maniacs through the years and instilling their bloodthirsty tendencies
@@jarrettwilfred5453 that sounds awesome
idc it was crap in the comics
And just negate the ENTIRE infinity saga? No thanks.
I would prefer to see death and deadpool.
I don’t think so, Agatha said she made him without any spells, from “scratch”
Death could shape shift (or partially shape shift) and make Nich from scratch with Agatha, if you know what I mean.
@@LucashhLimadang 💀
*OMG, thank you so much.*
I hope that Death is getting her own show as i would love to see both Thanos and Deadpool's interaction with her.
I would really like to see her reaction to the Blip. From the POV of Elena that we got in Hawkeye, it seems that death didn't take the snapped people but that they kind of "teleported 5 years to the future" (from their POV). But maybe Death did take them. And then had to give them back... Can you imagine? :D
@@DomihorkThanos did that for death in the comics. They intentionally removed that storyline. Not happening.
@PopsAlley is she not coming back for Young Avengers? I heard rumors she was going to be coming back for a team project in the future
She's death, she can have both.
Give me more Rio please. A solo show for her would be awesome
I have a feeling we will see more of Speed in the Vision show
The hunt for Speed is apparently going to be its own AAA spinoff
It was a portal to the outside....from the basement.
i hope its just a small reference for thanos and rios relationship, like they have all these slight nods to her and agatha relationship an nods to agathas sexuality- so i hope if we see rio again theres some slight nod about her sexuality and maybe could be like thanos is an example of her being bisexual or smthn ykno lol idk
But I don't think she needs to be in her own show
The idea that anyone wouldn’t adore Rio and Agatha is mad?! The chemistry, the writing, the kiss….❤
Agatha says right after she gives birth " Nicolas made from scratch."
🤞I hope it's Mephisto.
@@cosmictruthtortoise Isn't he Agatha's father in the comics? I think I saw that somewhere.
the other ending would have been perfect, dropping hulkling sucks, hopefully they dont take long to bring him in
Eddie looks just like the kid from My So Called Life, a show from way back in the day that introduced a teenaged Jared Leto and Claire Danes.
By the time they set up the young Avengers they are all gonna be in their mid to late 20s 💀
Fr💀
Ignoring the obvious fact most of these actors are already in their 20s aside, it’s the 21st century, pal, we don’t die in our 30s anymore. 😂
Besides, the older they are, the less time we have to wait for the wedding.
That would have been a cool scene or even used as a post credit scene that she is following them and we will see her again
2:45 She said he was created from scratch without a spell. I assumed no magic was used. My theory is because of that Death has to take him assuming that was against the rules
Awesome video
I mean Agatha literally said Nicholas was made from scratch, so no. 2:31
There are nonmagical ways to make a baby when two ppl are involved kiddo :)
Agatha is going to be a mentor to Billy in ghost form, rather than how it I in the comics.
hi The Cosmic Wonder
Im sure marvel has a specific plan for all young avengers characters maybe an updated plan with hulkling after resukof secret invasion not having death follow them at thecend was probably because of the fear of another unanswered thread marvel has keft in many places but the reception to death has now changed
Bring Hunkling!! Such a cute couple!!!
I would’ve been a lot less irked with the ending if it had had death following them, but it still would’ve had a lot of shortcomings
Her and Agatha had a better relationship Deadpool like it wild, but h found a gal.
death also has had a relationship with deadpool.....a cat and mouse chase kind of thing because he can't die.
Already confirmed he is not Teddy.
Nobody wants any more hulk bullshit. Nobody.
Fr
They need to do a backstory going back to the infinity wars where she’s courting Thanos but not giving him the time of day like in the comics
It’s the deadpool and death relationship I’d like to see.
Deadpool/Lady Death is a cannon ship.
0:48 oooooo dsi? Or is that a 3ds can’t tell because of the camera
Death gave her wish even though she betrayed her. Unless the writers spoke on this to say otherwise this is how I saw this.
I wanted to know more about Teddy and it's kind of disappointing they'll have to break them up
So we have the personification of the Demiurge/Life aka Billy/Wiccan and we have a rumoured spinoff about the hunt for Speed/Tommy aka the personification of Time. Imagine Time/Speed/Tommy and Life/the Demiurge/Billy/Wiccan fighting Rio Vidal aka Lady Death
We don’t need a death series. She should def be a pop up character though
It’s okay they didn’t add hulkling but I would love to see death visit stark and thanos before they had passed
What unwed father hasn't had this thought at some point? Take him away from a toxic mother.
This is a New Rockstars thumbnail.
I don't want more Rio. I want to continue Jennifer Kale's journey who will probably show up in Midnight Suns.
What happened to William Kaplan's soul? Was Rio able to guide his soul to the afterlife despite the sigil that Lilia placed on him at the bar mitzvah?
The sigil is valid for every wicht, too green wicht, Rio. Rio didn't know that teen was Wican at the begining.
I wish Kate Bishop or Ms. marvel appeared in the end to recruit Wiccan.
is this the same death whom Deadpool had a relation with in the comics or are there multiple deadts
It's a shame that thanos never saw death seeing in the comics he uses the infinity gauntlet to impress her and tries to get her love
That storyline was deleted as being ridiculous for a movie.
WHO needs Hulkling when we have Skaar instead 😂 ?! (Ofc MCU based)
I hope Kit Connor is playing Captain Britain in the future 😊
Agatha specifically said there was no magic involved in creating Nicky.
I would love to see a spin off of Death. How Death deal with Thanos snap. She collects billions of souls and then let them alive again? How she would deal with this..
I would have loved to see that ending, with Rio following them…
Rio’s job may be understandable, but she is still a freaky arse nightmare.
I think death is the father you heard Agatha say she liked the bad boys she/he is a cosmic entity death can take any form. That’s my guess anyway
Im almost positive in the show, Agatha herself says he was made without magic. When she was giving birth to him, so its unlikely that Rio and Agatha created him.
Thank you.
Vision is the next season.
Wanda- s1
Agatha-s2
Vision-s3
Agatha said she made him with no magic or incantations, no spells. She literally said that out loud.
Agatha already said she made Nicholas from scratch; without magic. ...So no, not Rio.
There are nonmagical ways to make a baby when two ppl are involved kiddo :)
@Glowbus-k9k 2 "women" in 1750?! What?! By mixing "snakes and snails and puppy dog tails"?!
Death is a cosmic being that can appear in any form, she is not human. She could have any genitals for all we know. I’m not arguing anymore kid
Agatha said she made him without spells when she was in labor
I have a feeling that hulkling will be replaced by Skaar in young avengers.
What is Death when Fate is involved? Alice should have been returned to the Coral shore to fulfill her destiny. Or Billy could have forced Death to return Alice.
I'm curious to see how they use Death now.
It’s also very psychotic 😂👏🏻
Young avengers 😂😂😂 by the time we see this they’ll be the Avengers cause the current avengers that’ll show up In doomsday and secrets wars will all die lol
There has to be a good reason Marvel didn't want to introduce a popular character.
There should have been more action in the battle against Death.
