A TV style series is also a bigger sell for young audiences. A movie could always come later. Ms. Marvel was played well, even though the stories weren't written as well.

This makes so much sense. A. Most of the team were established in a Disney Plus show, B. Young Avengers needs to be distinct from Avengers movies and C. This way we get a big event crossover style thing for the Disney Plus shows. So so hyped, we’re eating well.

Do NOT care to see a movie ruined by both her and Marvel at the same time. I could even deal with Marvel, just take out Ironheart for gods sake. Shit character with a shit attitude. I really feel they might not include Hulking now, which is sad because "The Children's Crusade" won a Lambda award and was banned in some countries because of his relationship with Wiccan. That being said I am still looking forward to this.
It seems like there is way too much territory that they need to cover to do so in a movie. A Young Avengers series would be more fitting to bring that team together.

I am glad it’s a show. This younger heroes seem to work at their best story-wise in these tv shows. Kate Bishop and Kamala Khan are both characters you can feel invested in. We got to watch some of their developing. And now Tommy, too. Whereas Cassie Lang… yeah, I feel like her story so far has been not much there. Now, interacting in a show with those characters we know AND others we just barely have glimpsed so far… they grant each other believability. Which in a continuing tv shows, would let us fill out all these individuals in our imaginations. It’s why the A-Team worked as a tv show in ways it never could duplicate in the movie versions. It’s also why Matt Murdock as Pete’s lawyer was multi-title Marvel storytelling at its very best. Once they build up these previously introduced heroes like this, including them integrally in the soft reboot’s build up will be so satisfying to watch and invest in.
As long as they treat the show well and put attention and care towards it, I’m really excited! I just don’t want them to waste the opportunities they have with these characters and storylines
I'm glad the show is being developed now and not prior to 2023. around February-March is when Marvel started to make there claims that they would cut back on their releases, and since have noted that they now develop tv shows they way they should be developed, with showrunners and pilots. This = a higher chance of the show being good.

A show is better than movie. When you are dealing with young people it's better a show. With movies Marvel are very slow with sequels which are done after five years. If an actor was 25 years pretending to be a teenager. After 5: years the actor is 30 still pretending to be a teenager. Not everyone has good genetics to look very young.
