A trick to washed welding caps is take a pot of water and boil it on the stove and take that welding cap put it over the water and about 5-6 min put it on your head and it will I guess mold to your head and that helps get its size back

Hey bro , keep doing what u doing !!!! As a welder u have a choice. U can work 40 hours a week at a Fab shop , shipyard etc. paycheck = chump change !!!!! Or u can go hit the jobs that have tight time limits , plant work or oil and gas. Pay check = bank !!!!! Point is if u willing to hustle and do the work or do the jobs other folks don’t want to do or can’t do u will quickly be in that 10 % of the highest paid !!!! Dude ur putting out good honest content. I have heard u give some really solid advice in a lot of ur videos. Keep it up man !!!! Shout out from Houma !!!!!
Good video brother. 'The weld you did yesterday got you your job today. The weld you do today will get you your job tomorrow. You are always working on your next job.'
What are your thoughts about becoming a CWI ? I’ve thought about taking classes but the courses are expensive. I enjoy welding but over time it will catch up with your body. I think you should interview a CWI whenever u get a chance .
you said it takes you 10-20 minutes to finish one of those out. do you let the pipe cool off between passes? is that part of the 10-20 mins or do you stop the timer?
@@TheWeldLab aye bro I just want to say thanks for all of your videos, I’m from the Pacific North west, i am a beginner but am dedicated and will do my best to become a great welder. Hope our paths cross sometime.

Many people want to learn to Weld Pipe take advantage of that. Just some tips. I am also a Welding Instructor Educator/ Pipeline Welder for 17years. CWI for 8 years.
thanks for the advice i ben thinking really hard about doing my own business i actually started to market for my own welding jobs now to do on weekends and hope to do full time ...it just scary leaving stable income to a business
Start your own Buisness. I use to live the same way. Until I stepped up my game and became a CWI... now I have my company in South Florida. Jobs don't last anymore. Go into the Inspection Field. Invest into yourself.
People only seem to talk shit when they have no idea what it is we do or how it works. All of our jobs end eventually. Keep an eye out I heard a few compressor stations are gonna kick off around your way or you can ask about the oak ridge job in Tennessee. Its a government contract from what I understand.
So networking is a very important part of being a rig welder. It goes for anything but great to know since this is what I’m trying to do.
