- In early summer 2022 we went fly fishing for brown trout and grayling on the River Tweed in the Scottish borders. Argually more famed for Salmon fishing, the River Tweed holds some outstanding wild brown trout and graylling, as you will see in this short video. We hope you enjoy

Best RUclips channel ever ❤😊
Thank you!!! X
We're getting a bit fed up of high water, rain and freezing cold conditions, so we thought we'd share some highlights from last season to get you excited for the spring. Let us know if you enjoyed it and if you have any questions. We'd love it if you'd subscribe to the channel, it's free and it helps us out massively.
Some really great river scenes there, excellent, without being boring, please think about the experience in England, so many rivers wrecked by water authorities or from farmers sluicing out their chicken sheds, please fight like Lions to keep your rivers, they are wonderful and your children’s children and on into the future must have them as well. Good luck.
Incredible scenes. Really enjoyed that, well done lads! Some beauties in there.
Love owt like this me
Fantastic, my fishing buddy has a big birthday coming up, I feel a day on this water would be a nice present. 🙂
Been fishing tweed for few months now. What's the best fly to use. Thanks lee

Nice day on the ladies well done lads all the best.
Glad you enjoyed it
Brilliant vid lads giving me some serious ent right now I just bought a wee Shakespeare Sigma combo set up just over a month ago to get back into fly fishing from spinning last Friday was only my 2nd time out with it & within 20 minutes the top snapped as I was bringing my line in as I was exiting the water 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ this was my 3rd venture into fly fishing & I’ve had no luck I’m hoping I can get a replacement or get it fixed cos if no I’m jacking it 😢 Tight lines ✌🏼💙🎣🏴👍🏼 from the Capital 😉
Awesome video! What rod and reel was you using the sliver/pink ?
Thanks!! The rod and reel are both from Sage. It’s a 10ft 3wt ESN with the matching reel. The link stuff is OPST Lazar line attached to a euro style tapered leader.
Do you fish two bugs at a time? Thanks great video
Almost 100% of the time we fish with 2 flies
Cracking fish
Really enjoyed this fella's. The last time I was fortunate enough to fish the Tweed it was way up on the water above Peebles. Sadly, most of my old fishing pals are no longer around. But before I cark it, would you be so kind as to direct me to the water in the video and where I would be able to purchase a permit? Time to make probably one last trip to that beautiful river. Thank you gents
That's what it's all about Peter. We were fishing on the Peeblesshire association water. You can get a permit on fishpal. We hope you manage to wet a line soon, thanks for watching
@@AnglingScotland Thank you gentlemen. I shall make plans.
Where's the closest place to park a car? Are the residents ok with you parking close by?
Awesome scenes
How much is for a permit on Tweed?
£40 for the Peebles Association Stretch
Holy moly l o l that's well i'm talking about
What bugs were you using great stuff.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed. Mostly pheasant tail nymphs, or perdigons in olive. One of the trout was taken on a Walt’s worm style hare’s ear
How's the fishing in July?
Starting to become more challenging by July normally. All depends on temps and river height
