I love how you have such a distinct accent until you start singing, and then you could pass for whichever one of the Beatles you wanted to! Great stuff.
SophisticatedBanjo That's a great comment. I remember being 7 years old and realizing the Beatles were actually British when they spoke and not ever hearing it in their music from when I was 5 years old until then. It's lovely what music can hide.
It would help a lot if you wouldn't try to sing a hard 'r' with a short e vowel on paper and writer. First, you cant sing an 'r', although many pop singers try, but more importantly, it is distinctly UN- British. A Brit will say AND sing 'pay-puh back royie-tah'. That's exaggerated, of course, but it shows the direction that an English accent would take on those words. I have to disagree with this commentor; while EVERYTHING else about your replication of these Beatles songs is astonishing, bordering on super-human; to my ear, your Italian accent is all over it.
You're right, I recently learnt this from my girlfriend who perfetcly speaks Brit English. I wish I had known this before, BTW this is not italian accent, it's me singing with the "R" like an american.
my heart beats so fast whenever i listen to Paperback Writer it's like a have a huge crush to that song, and knowing how complex and genius this was created also won't help me calm down
Thank you so much for doing these videos! You are such a talented musician and have a very beautiful voice, and are helping all those like me in the world who have spent hours trying to deduce the Beatles' separate vocal parts in their songs, but just couldn't do it in some cases. So I want to tell you how helpful your videos are to so many of us, and thank you again for them!!
It must have been wonderful growing up in a house with a love for music. My dad was a drunk. I watch your piano videos as well. I bought a piano last year and you are a great help. The Beatles were my first love.
Thanks It's beautiful and utterly amazing how the 3 outro harmonies created a single melody line in my mind all these years and nobody even sang what I've been hearing. You're a great teacher. I thank you.
It would be incredible if Paul would comment on his vids. Paul has vast information on these songs, and it will all be lost when he is gone. Time is running out.
I think Paul would be genuinely baffled yet impressed by what is technically “his own” work, looking back at it dissected so well. Unfortunately George Martin is dead. The true key. It probably went like this…. “Sing this next, trust me it’ll work”
I hope negative comments don't get you down. Most rude people are terribly unhappy and suffer from low self esteem. Many of us really appreciate your videos. Best to you from chicago.
Bravo. That was fascinating to watch. I love their strange harmonies on this one, also Rain, and When I Get Home. Some of it sounds almost Eastern, outside of our 12-tone scale, but however you've dissected it must be correct; you sound exactly like them. I had no idea they were singing frere jacques. Cheers.
You continue to amaze me with your interpretation of the Beatle's arrangements. Your analysis, performance and teaching skills are much appreciated. I'm looking forward to more!!
Incredible ear, wonderfully executed and (for us listeners) a joy to watch. His version of "If I Fell" (with his bandmate) is another exceptional reproduction.
What an amazing service you provide. Years ago, I (and many others, I suspect) would not have known where to begin, when trying to sing these complex harmonies. Once again, thanks.
amazing breakdown of the harmonies. great presentation. very, very informative. all your videos are so well done. thank you for the time and effort you put into this.
Thanks so much for this. You do a wonderful job. I am an American bar band musician and I don't think that my friends and I can do this, but you have an amazing ear. I have had a lot of fun trying to figure this out. I wish you much success in your musical career. You are very talented.
Thank you for the time and effort you put into making these wonderful videos. Your method for recording and editing the videos is great. They are very efficient, and consistent. Your singing talent is superb, and your ability to pick out the harmonies of each singer is amazing! Thank you so much!
this guy is excellent, great videos, and that's coming from a guitarist who plays Beatles songs every day, and me and my co- musician know the harmonies inside out, but you don't realise how intricate they are until you watch this, great stuff. 👍❤❤❤
Galleazzo, my own theory is; that you are master of two, very different skills at once. The first, I will guess is humility. It seems to precede true greatness every time. Your respect for the Artform and new media is also clear. NObody does this anywhere NEAR so well as YOU do, Maestro. ~O~k, maybe George Martin could do this....with Lennon and McCartney, George and Ringo...yeah, I guess...
So I thought I'd discovered an Easter egg with the Frere Jacques section, only to find its very well known, great vid! This song is much more complicated than it appears, well explained.
And so Dad was an opera singer... I always thought that you necessarilly had a very good knowledge of voice features. It was almost impossible you hadn't studied at least some intrument or voice itself. Now I know why you know voice so good... (aside of being an excellent liuther and guitarist)... Thank you for all the enthusiasm you bring in your work :)
Perfecto!!, un gusto oírte, una cancion que aparentemente parece simple y con tu trabajo nos ayudas a valorarla...qué grande eres y qué grandes The Beatles!
Outstanding as always. Truly some of the best stuff on youtube. I am quite sure you have too much talent and intelligence to be bothered by the handful of pathetic negative comments. Appreciative greetings from Philadelphia PA USA where you have an enthusiastic following!
Dude, you're awesome. I had a band that used to play Beatles covers and once we thought of playing that song and I tried to listen closely to those notes at the beginning but dude, you are just freaking great. I mean, how do you do it? it sounds exactly like the record. Congratulations!! (I could've used you're videos back when I had the band, they sure would've come in handy!)
There's a few of the basic compression and reverbs of Garage Band (standar "Vocal presence" preset and a 30% of the standard reverb). Can I say that It's how you sing that makes the difference nothing to do with the effects? For example I was in the mid of Italy last week coaching a local band and did some recordings for them and believe me if I say that I sound the same in every kind of device.
Outstanding talent here. Beatle fans, if we could get imcarying and mjsokes together we could have new "Beatle" albums! My two favorite you tube channels, imcarying and mjsokes. The first for the vocals, the second for the instruments.
Your an amazing musician with the ability to hear minor details that many don't pick up on. Your version is amazing! What mic are you using, it complements your voice very much. Would love to get a copy of your version of Paperback writer.
As far as I can tell, most of the instrumental backing is done by him, but when it's the full band like this, it sounds very much like the instrumentation from the original. Certain Beatles tracks are available in multi-track format, which means you can isolate different instruments etc, so that appears to be what he does when that's an option.
it's not just his voice but his harmonious voices all working together to produce synergy... like J/P/G did: whole was greater than the sum of indiv parts
This is great. However, please balance the volume levels between the spoken and singing parts. After turning up to hear the spoken voice the singing becomes way too loud. Can't wait to watch your other videos. Thanks for doing this.
I enjoyed your videos. But one question. In the beginning of the song i heard that Ringo actually does the second part of the paperback writer. I thought it goes Paul & John Ringo Paul & George.
Great work on all the Beatles tracks.. A brilliant break down of the vocals. Thank you! 10 out of 10 Do you have an idea of the vocal break down on the track ' you take my breath away ' by Queen? A Mercury track - the middle part is amazing, but not sure if harmonies or just over dubs are used. Would you have a listen and give me your opinion x
Marvellous..... I'm wondering for two songs. One of them is actually posted here but I find impossible to sing live: "I'm down" could you post a "version" live of this song? Another one is a marvellous piece that my band tried once in the rehearsal and we would like to learn more with you: "Because" . Thanx a lot!!!!
Absolutely. And vocally it's a difficult and challenging song too. Helter Skelter is one of my favorite Beatles-era song by Paul. I think that song suits your voice because when I heard I've Got A Feeling cover by you it was just mind blowing.
Did you read in Rodriguez's Revolver book how the John and George background vocals were recorded at half speed and sped up? Do you agree? What do you think?

You seam endlessly knowledgeable on all things Beatles, you'd be my desert island bro. Great work.
absolutely amazing, stumbled over your channel by chance while looking up some songs
this is youtube gold
It must have been wonderful growing up in a house with a love for music. My dad was a drunk. I watch your piano videos as well. I bought a piano last year and you are a great help. The Beatles were my first love.
I'll certainly listen for more harmonies now. Especially George. Thanks.

Paul has been gone since 1966. William aka Beatle Bill is not on this record.
@@thorpenator9148 well either way he must know quite a lot lmao

Thanks mom

Amazing video ! The vocal harmonies in this song are so numerous !
Cheers.
Seriously, who would dislike video? They are amongst the best on RUclips. Thanks Galeazzo, keep up the good work!
You have an astounding ear. You are able to distinguish each singers parts ina complex song
I can't believe someone can do falsetto in harmony. Outstanding!
What? Most singers can...😕
Thank you again, Galeazzo, for another spectacular, in depth look at a very complex singing challenge.
You continue to amaze me with your interpretation of the Beatle's arrangements. Your analysis, performance and teaching skills are much appreciated. I'm looking forward to more!!

As in all your videos you completely disassemble and point out every component an then reassemble perfectly.
