Just bought and installed two of these after viewing this video. Absolutely first class wall mount; rock solid, very smooth, easy to install...a helper is wise since this mount is heavy. Plenty of cheaper options, but I did not want to go pinch pennies on something like this.
I guess it's a matter of preference, but the fixed wall mount look much nicer as it feels the TV is almost part of the wall. With the full motion brackets, because of their depth, it looks like the TV is really popping out of the wall. Again, just a matter of preference The other thing is that the fixing that you will need to use are different. Sure you will need to get into (at last one) stud (assuming you can). But the position of the TV and the width of the bracket might now allow that. So the fixings are going to be a crucial part of the project, because with full motion brackets, the centre of mass will be further out the wall, meaning you'll have to consider additional weight and a pulling force on the fixings/screws
Great video. Always scares the hell out of me when I see a large TV wall-mounted. However some of these brackets look like they could hold up a tank ! Thanks Vegas Mike !
Great video Mike! Definitely agree, a full motion wall mount is the way to go. I started using them about 4 years ago and won't go back to the flat mounts. Btw- wife is loving her new bed frame you suggested!!
It depends on which brand TV. Sony uses mounting holes that are very low on the back of the TV. Samsung uses holes more in the middle of the TV and same with LG.
Thanks for the video, I bought a full motion wall mount based on this video. We are adding the full motion to our office. For the main living room we went with stationary only because IMO the full motion would look a little odd fully extended in that space.
Lennar Home builders install a large board into the walls where TVs are to be installed so you can drill into any area around the installation location. Otherwise most homes have 2 by 4s 16 inches on center.
My sams wall mount is too stiff/tight. It just wont move after we placed our 85inch tv. My concern is, if I put too much pressure from thr sides of the tv, the central assembly of the mount may break the thin screen. Anything i can do,add lubrication to the joints/ looaen some nuts to solve the issue?
It wont rotate that far unfortunately. They do make wall mounts that can rotate 90 or 180 degrees. I really dislike the videos that people make with there phones (Portrait mode). I prefer landscape mode because you get a full wide screen image.
@jerinaelsa 55 inch. I replacesd it with this 65 inch Samsung, here's the video of the installation and review. ruclips.net/video/zyQBAnpYsgA/видео.htmlsi=qLPa9j37obkTaU8U
There is a knob in the back that you tighten to keep it from tilting. Set the TV upright and tighten the knob. Keep me posted and thank you for watching.
@@UltimateTechHub thanks! I wasn’t sure if I needed to loosen a bracket to move it. The pressure needed is somewhat significant, which makes sense to prevent it from naturally leaning, so I didn’t want to break it haha
WTF Man. The only reason I watched this was to observe the full range of motion capabilities, which you didn't even begin to demonstrate. Next time you do a video on something titled "Full Motion," you might want to show what it can do. How far from the wall, max angle from the wall.....
You didn’t dumb it down enough. We use the screws in the back of the tv? Why do we need spacers? Which spacer and why? Which screw and why? Which hole in the bracket?
Each TV company has different size holes and some need spacers and some do not. It's something you have to test to see which bolts work. Sony uses different size holes then Samsung and LG uses different size holes as well.
This is a great idea that some people just put holes and walls not thinking that some people live in apartments and they can’t do that. They don’t wanna pay when they leave for a big gaping hole in a wall. They just want to get the hell out of there.🤣🤣

Yea imma hire someone to do this because it looks too complicating for me to install on my own.
The problem with the world
Does it swivel?
Buy once! Cry once! I just put one on my wall. I have no regrets
Great video Mike. Full motion is the way to go. Will have to look that one up next time I am at Sams.
man was this helpful!
Great job!
Great video. Always scares the hell out of me when I see a large TV wall-mounted. However some of these brackets look like they could hold up a tank ! Thanks Vegas Mike !
Great info. Thanks. Can this bracket be used in a corner wall?
It depends where the studs are located near the corner. It will probably work. Good luck and keep me posted,

Glad she likes the adjustable bed frame. Happy Wife Happy life! Thanks for watching Jon!
What size drill bits did you use for the initial hole, and for the second time around?
I don't remember but always go slightly smaller than the bolt your screwing into the studs.
excellent video.
Can you show how to use the stud finder?
I would like to have information on the height of a large 75” tv and how much it hangs below and above the mount.
It depends on which brand TV. Sony uses mounting holes that are very low on the back of the TV. Samsung uses holes more in the middle of the TV and same with LG.

What size socket do i need? I am installing this at a location that i have to bring tools and the tv the mount is already on site.
@@brianhiatt8029 I believe it's 1/2 inch socket.
Any suggestions on a lubricant to use? Mines super stiff to push in or pull out
If u going to show how to put this item up maybe u should use the stud finder also most people don’t have old holes in there wall 🤷🏾♂️
What kind of studs did you use?
Lennar Home builders install a large board into the walls where TVs are to be installed so you can drill into any area around the installation location. Otherwise most homes have 2 by 4s 16 inches on center.
Will it work as a corner bracket:!
Probably. Depends on how you install it.
How do you tilt it, do you have to twist both knobs, just one?
@@cjmcaninley2915 I believe it's just one knob.
How far from the wall does the TV sit when pushed in all the way? Thank you.
Probably 2 or 3 inches. It's not very for out.
@@UltimateTechHub Appreciate it.
What guitars you got there?
Epiphone Les Paul
Dean 6 strung Acoustic
Fender 12 strung acoustic
String
Show us all the motions in full potential... let's see
I'm honestly surprised by how cheap wall mounts can be. I always assumed they were pretty expensive and never really considered getting one.

My concern is, if I put too much pressure from thr sides of the tv, the central assembly of the mount may break the thin screen. The mount should move. You can put pressure on the mount to move it. It won't break the TV or bracket.
I have this same issue. Moves left and right just fine but I cannot get it to move in and out for the life of me. Any ideas?
Can it rotate vertical? This is so I watch videos that people seem to like to take with their phones🙄
It wont rotate that far unfortunately. They do make wall mounts that can rotate 90 or 180 degrees. I really dislike the videos that people make with there phones (Portrait mode). I prefer landscape mode because you get a full wide screen image.
What is the size of this tv
@jerinaelsa 55 inch. I replacesd it with this 65 inch Samsung, here's the video of the installation and review. ruclips.net/video/zyQBAnpYsgA/видео.htmlsi=qLPa9j37obkTaU8U
My tv is 85" and we can't get the tv to stay upright it tilts forward can you tell me what we need to do to?
There is a knob in the back that you tighten to keep it from tilting. Set the TV upright and tighten the knob. Keep me posted and thank you for watching.
I just installed mine but how do I told it horizontally? Mine dips down slightly to the right
You can adjust it horizontal by moving the left or right side up or down. Just a little bit of pressure to make the adjustments.
@@UltimateTechHub thanks! I wasn’t sure if I needed to loosen a bracket to move it. The pressure needed is somewhat significant, which makes sense to prevent it from naturally leaning, so I didn’t want to break it haha
The most difficult part of this is the studs and you didn’t show that….
use a stud finder and drill holes as close to the middle of them as possible
He did.
What if one side not long enough for stud do still drill
Use snap toggle bolts

I'm sorry you didn't feel like I demonstrated the full motion capabilities enough. I will try to do better in the future.

Asking is this safe for 75-85 inch tv? I’m wondering if the wall and the mount can lift the 75-85inch tv?
Yes its safe. Should hold up to 90 inch TV.
@@UltimateTechHub thanks

Just add some wall putty and a little sanding and no more hole!! 😄😉
Comment ??? where do i leave a Comment ? 🤔
Lol! Thanks for the commet! And thank you as usual for watching Bodie! Cheers!
Oh I see what you did there ! LEGEND !
It’s annoying how you don’t specify what size drill bits to start and end with
Choose a drill bit slightly smaller than the bolt, its easy. You want the bolt to go in very snug and tight! Thanks for watching! 😃
