I think Ted Lasso might be the best TV show ever made. I’m late to the party but just binge watched both seasons in 24 hours and could not stop. So compelling.
Preaching to the choir ❤️ I watched three episodes then made my partner watched them with me. We finished season 1 and 2 in two days - no regrets. Have rewatched it endlessly in the buildup to season 3
For sure! I binged it this week and I loved how smooth the transition from one season to the other where didn’t even noticed I started season two till the 4th episode!
Brilliant writer, tremendous actor - Brett's portrayal of Roy Kent is so multi-layered, an angry hard man with an inner soft core; I didn't think anybody would re-capture any of the magic of Ted Lasso, but Shrinking has the same sort of heart -- it's uplifting and life-affirming. Brilliant.
He needs to date his niece's teacher, which they teased in Ted Lasso but never delivered. We know now at the end of the show that him and Keeley isn't happening
ive been eating up every piece of brett content and it's delightful to find this. I enjoyed it very much, congrats! It felt like hearing two of my friends talk and the vibe was so nice.
My favorite Josh Horowitz interviews are with Sam Heughan because they are great fun. This one with Brett Goldstein was delightfully insightful. Josh asks the best questions and is so well prepared and briefed about his subjects. BTW, Josh, you look fantastic.
Discovered Brett's podcast in 2019 and immediately fell in love with it - I was shocked to learn that he played Brett since I thought the image on the podcast was a hired actor since he looked completely different to how he sounded. My partner thought he was coach beard and it was magnificent 😂
@@divinationsofka6098 His 2015 film 'SuperBob' is a treat. And here's a bit of stand-up from long, long-ago that's terrific: ruclips.net/video/HNr5bpyrBGc/видео.html
This was a treat. Thank you. Haven’t seen love and thunder yet, so I didn’t know who the brat made a cameo as Hercules at the end. Also, was unaware that he does stand up comedy. Will have to look for that. To me the biggest revelation, though, was that Brett was a writer on Ted Lasso before Roy Kent was cast. That blew my mind. I can’t imagine anyone else being Roy Kent. Although Ted Lasso is the linchpin of the show, and like a lot of guys, I’ve got a crush on Rebecca, Ray Kent, is my other favorite character. Iconic. Thanks again for sharing this.
Awesome interview! Love both you guys. Side note - I just realized you only have 25.7k subscribers, wtf?! I have watched a bunch of your videos and they are all sooo amazing. It is a crime that more people are not watching/subscribing to your content. Keep it up and I'll spread the word!
Apart from chat shows I think Harrison Ford's most famous TV experience was the Star Wars holiday special and having seen it I can understand why he stuck to movies after that
My Wife and I are watching Ted Lasso for the first time and are in the middle of season two. Question, how much time had lapsed before the first few episodes of season one were shot and till it was released on Apple TV?
This was an interesting video for RUclips to give me the "Sandy Hook Promise" gun violence advertisements on. My search history must be similar to Brett's.
Don't screw up Hercules, Goldstien! I've waited almost 50 years waiting for my favorite character to be brought to the big screen! Start hitting that gym NOW!
Thanks for watching! Make sure you subscribe the channel so you don't miss any of my conversations!

Binging the entire thing in 24hrs is the only correct reaction to Ted Lasso ... and then watching it again.
I second this, best TV show ever made.

I agree with your assessment of the show.

Is it me or Brett’s voice just so comforting …😅😂❤
Honestly didn't know he was English till yesterday. I never watched anything he was in, but have seen him everywhere
Singin' in the Rain? That's cemented it. I didn't need any more convincing but I effing love this man.
How about a Roy Kent spin-off show where it's him and his elderly lady yoga group?
He needs to date his niece's teacher, which they teased in Ted Lasso but never delivered. We know now at the end of the show that him and Keeley isn't happening
Adore Shrinking. Not a huge Harrison fan, he is great in this. Thank you Brett, you're a gift

“People ask me to tell them to fuck off. And I go well that’s easy” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love this man

Thank you!!
Brett deserves every success!
its funny that his character is known for not smiling because his crooked smile is just... holy fuck. the most charming swoonworthy smile.

The fact that Brett loves Grease 2 makes me love him even more! ❤️
Josh, you’re such a delight! Brett is such a delight! Just a pod full of delight! 😂
Mate you're an absolutely incredible interviewer. Giving me a lot of inspiration for the future 🙌

Love that Grease 2 is on Brett's fav movie list! This explains everything! We are soulmates 💜
Love that Brett’s a fan of Everything Everywhere All At Once 🥳💜👀😎 appreciate both of you lovely gentlemen! 🙏
He's a massive movie lover. He has a wonderful podcast called, "Films To Be Buried With," that you might like.
@@Olive_O_Sudden thank you! I’m apparently really behind on his work 🫣 appreciate the heads up!! 🙏😁

Hearing Brett Goldstein say "Git gud" is a whole ass trip I wasn't prepared to go on
Wow what a great interview! Thanks for such an enjoyable hang with Brett. So comfortable.
Glad you enjoyed it!
could've had a full 40min just talking about the podcast
it's the greatest
Just adore him.

Great show! Enjoy the break and looking forward to seeing/ hearing you all next season!! 🍻
Massive respect For this guy. Roy kentttt roy kentt

Soap! Brett really does have the greatest test. That show was brilliant but has not been in in UK for decades I don’t think
Can you upload the interview with Rachel Zegler and Glen Powell?
20:38 23:30 25:00 LOL
21:35 Love Ted Lasso n the cast!
Wow, I did not know Roy was in FIFA 23, holy crap!!
It's weird seeing that face smile so much. 😄
He does a fantastic job playing Roy Kent
“Make 'em laugh
Make 'em laugh
Don't you know everyone wants to laugh?
My dad said "Be an actor, my son
But be a comical one”🎵
❤❤❤ "...Sesame Street was the pinnacle..."
Loved him on Derek.
aftersun deserved the noms he’s right
Damn right! I full on ugly cried at the end and it hasn't left me.
Brett! you should do voice work. I think you'd be really great.
If you enjoy Shrinking but have not watched the series "Six Feet Under" yet, you are in for a treat.
Talking of Harrison Ford, if they need a new Indiana Jones, Brett's your man. The stubble looks right lol
This was an interesting video for RUclips to give me the "Sandy Hook Promise" gun violence advertisements on. My search history must be similar to Brett's.
Love this x
Grease 2 - I know what he means.
You should ask him if he and Mae Martin are actually dating or just teasing it to advertise their live shows.
They're not dating Maes said this many times. Brett is supposedly dating Tessa Thompson

The character was in Thor Love And Thunder, he's already been screwed up. Even if it was just for a couple of seconds lol
