Who’s here after watching Theo James in The Gentleman?
Whoever has been in charge of pairing these actors should definitely get a raise cuz all of these pairings so far have been entertaining to watch and I love how each pair has some kind of through line. With Theo and Brett it’s lovely to know that both have other interests other than acting. I mean it goes without saying that both of these gentlemen are handsome and that both are great in their respective shows.

"We love each other. We love each other." If all the men of the world could so comfortably state their honest and true affection for others as Brett does, humanity would be so much better off. Obviously, that's part of what makes Ted Lasso so great; men have feelings and love each other and talk about it and it's SO GOOD.
First season was great, but it dropped off after that
I so want to watch the bloopers when Phil and Brett had to film this scene in season 3, where Jamie breaks down crying and clings onto Roy. imagine the many takes it took!

@@drake7993 Taste is subjective. I'm used to watching football (or soccer) as you probably call it). So it was a bit hard to divorce myself from the totally unrealistic aspects of their portrayal of the sport
@@athuldas4959 Wow, what's it like to be SO incredibly wrong about something? Wouldn't know, because the show was solidly fantastic from start to finish. And I love football, too. This wasn't a sport documentary, it was a character study. And they nailed it.
Totally down a Theo James rabbit hole after watching him in The Gentlemen on Netflix and had NO IDEA he produced Pepsi, Where’s my Jet?! That’s so wild. Here’s hoping he wants to stay in Guy Ritchie’s world a while longer bc it’s such a great show and he really shines in it.
Theo James has always been an exceptional actor - he deserves a big lead in something that really shows off his skills. Brett is a phenomenal writer as well as a lovely actor. Great pairing!
I thought he was excellent in The White Lotus and Sandinton, but unfortunately he hasn't had many other roles that stand out much. Really needs a new agent or to try something totally out of the box for him. I'd love to see him do something very unconventional and weird.
@@zeetuslupeedusI’m cautiously optimistic about him in The Gentlemen series especially since its Netflix. But that won’t premiere until next year. With the writers strike I wonder what the status of his next project is - if it was already in pre-production or not.
@@zeetuslupeedus He was excellent in Archive as well, which is an under-rated movie came out in lockdown. Gentlemen and the upcoming Stephen King movie should highlight his acting more

Theo doesn’t get enough credit. Seen him in other stuff but after White Lotus, I was like, I don’t know if I’ll be able to view him as not a d-bag after this. He played that character so well.
The White Lotus was the first thing I ever saw him in and I think it ruined him for me lol. His performance was SO good and so authentic that I genuinely can't trust him. I even thought he was American

It's funny, they are sussing each other out at the start and then you see them slowly start to warm up as they realise they like each other as people.
Harrison Ford was amazing on Shrinking. Definitely my top 3 shows of 2023

I loved this one from start to finish, both of them are so talented and I was surprised to see the pairing but really enjoyed how easily the conversation flowed, also was very insightful for us as viewers into the minds of actors and their different styles
This was fantastic. I don't know how Variety keeps doing it but all the sessions/parings this year have been just phenomena. Really, really like Bret, and Theo has evoled into a terrific actor. This went by like it was 10 minutes. Amazing industry insights from both.

Been looking forward to this. I’ve listened to Brett’s podcast for awhile. He’s so good in conversation. Listens well, very natural, responds thoughtfully. Just seems like someone one would enjoy talking with. A great communicator on top of being a good actor and writer.
I think there are some humans who are just divinely favored by the universe…kissed on the forehead by destiny, if you will. He is definitely one of those who are blessed this way!

Very good selection of guests this excellent selection gives the viewer the impression of something they can say about me too I would do the same writer and actor and both gentlemen deserve something really big that would show the wide range of their extraordinary talent the tenth muse can be proud of their charges may not be known to the wider public, but that can change at any time, the instinct of fame, as you can see, is not a stranger to them, so the good that is about to happen is almost certain.
