good video. one thing I would point out is also profitability. I call bundles the category and profit killers, as it requires a mass of finished products to enter the competition, there is little room to stand out and prices are low. Better to stay away from everything with mass bundling.
I agree with mass bundling! I have an etsy shop that sells bundles of 4-5 designs and is niched down and I don't charge $1-2. I feel like charging so little for so much is just a race to the bottom. Price is all subjective. I would say to always pay yourself what you feel your work is worth!

Pls don't get me wrong, I appreciate your videos a lot ;-) The point is, everybody speaks of revenue, but nobody speaks about the PROFIT! You can have a revenue of $1000 daily and $1500 costs.. Etsy is not for free and without paid Ads nobody will ever see you, in an ocean of millions of other competitors' shops! With digital products you have only a minimal chance and only if you are super professional and can offer great - I mean really great - products at very low cost. Before you come to that level, you need months and months of hard work before you can even start thinking about earning some $$. As every business, there is a launch time where you have to "invest" before you can count on some profit. If you are lucky. Most sellers give up before they come to that point or simply can't afford the costs of a serious marketing strategy.
But a digital product normally has a higher profit margin. Once is done and selling there’s almost no cost.

Yes! I’m starting my Etsy shop and I’m having to spend a lot of time and some money to get started. I don’t expect a fast increase in sales but more of a gradual increase. I don’t expect to make a profit for at least half a year. But I’m willing to invest time because it’s a creative outlet for me!
It’s a pay to play world. Not to mention you’ll be charged for the relisting fee by Etsy so there’s no free parking your listings on the platform. You have to make money selling items and swimming in the midst among hundreds of thousand other competing listings. So be warned

Hello Kate, thank you for your content! I have a question about colours. How I can make sure the colours I use in Adobe will be right when the customers will print the digital arts? I printed a CMYK chart and I change the colours depend of this chart, but also in the screen will not are nice, so I need to do a different file in rgb so the clientes will see the colours rigt, so 1 file for screen and 1 file for print when the bought it, this is correct? or I missing something, I didn't find a video explain this. I recently took a photoshop class in school so I have some knowledge of this, hopefully I can help a little. For print products you want to use CMYK, this is beaus most if not all printers use this color system with their inks. If you have an at home color printer you’ve probably noticed your ink cartridges are yellow cyan magenta and black, the is no red ink cartridge. RGB is better for digital art you see on a screen, this is because the color on electrical screens is made by different combinations of red green and blue light. For printing RGB Is a much more limited color range compared to CMYK. As well all printers are calibrated differently so colors may vary a little from your screen to the print. It is recommended to reach out to the manufacturers and ask what color system and settings they use for optimal results. Lastly your monitor also plays a big part. Unfortunately not all screens are made equally, there are a variety of different panels; TN, VA, IPS, OLED. If you are looking for color accuracy IPS panels are the best choice, however on top of that when buying a new screen you should look for a color calibrated screen for the most accurate color, sad part is that they run on the expensive side. However as time passes you should also color calibrate your screen every couple months out at least once a year. There are a lot of factors that affect color. Is you happen to have a Mac computer they tend to have better color accuracy since they use OLED screens. OLED screens have the best color accuracy of them all, the biggest issue is images can easily “burn in” to the screen and leave a permanent imprint that you will see over everything you open/use that’s why they are not recommended. I hope this helped a little.
What i do is, i export a picture in rgb so that it looks good in screen and then make the file in cmyk so that the print goes good

Both of those options, logos and websites, can have ongoing sales just like planners, since they can be sold as templates or as a custom product
You can also sell logo in multiple times, but it is not advisable

Hi Kate! I need help! :( I'm trying to follow some advice you gave in another video, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to do it. I have a bundle, but I guess I need to create separate listings for each part. I want to create a drop-down on the bundle page. I'm assuming I need to create the additional listings first, then maybe I'll see the option to add a drop down list to the bundle listing page? My concern is I thought you mentioned that these items in the drop down are not supposed to be separate listings (so they’ll be counted in total sales). These are digital products, by the way.
Hey friend! Digital product listings actually cannot have drop down menu variations currently, so if you want to offer the pages in your bundle separately as individual pages, you’ll need to create a totally separate listing for each. The drop down variation options are only for physical product options like color, size, scent, things like that :)

Letter size. Or you can also find out the dimension of the iPad and jist change the size in Canva or editing tool you are using. you make a draft, download it and test it on your iPad.

Everbee isn't accurate. I tried it on my shop and the numbers it brought up were nowhere close to my real numbers. This happens with most Etsy sellers who input their own shop into the extension... It's basically an expensive way to estimate numbers it can't possibly accurately know because Etsy doesn't share information about sales/popularity like that...
I think we have to be careful making generalizations about the platform based off only one shop. I will bring up your concerns with the company however keep in mind that Etsy does not release all of its data so it won’t be 100% with any service. Use it as one tool in the belt, if you do.

Yes as long as you don’t sell it as is you have to change it somehow they have a policy that states you can use the elements but can’t sell them by themself

It’s not a hard and fast rule either way but it definitely helps to market your shop and drive traffic from other platforms. You don’t need a huge following to start making sales though!

Is it good to stick to just one digital product or to offer more than just a digital planner, such as a printable or downloadable PDF final of Invitations and digital planners.
I would say that when you're starting out to focus on one or two types of digital products so you don't stretch yourself too thin. I would master one or two first and get really comfortable making them. You will be better to focus your energy in one direction, rather than a whole bunch of different things.

Yes, etsy charges 0.20$ per listing. After your listing goes live, you can pay the fee via your debit card.

I thought Etsy was a place to get authentic hand made or art. Everytime I search for a print it’s Digital. Its mostly small and made for home printers. It’s oversaturated. I sell large format and see a trend of my customers for my product now moving from Etsy to our websites. I have sold digital but Notice customers end up at staples printing on 20 yr old machines. Bad Quality! When they have no idea for the same price you could have a fine art Giclee Print.
Idk my fear is one day Etsy will just be a digital place and no one will be actually making a physical product.
It is becoming more digital, one because that’s easier for many people that traditional sales and two because we are becoming a more digital world. I still sale physical products and there will always be a market for it but Etsy is changing, for sure.
