Hi Visit with Us, you have done total justice to this great ship. We travel on her pre lengthening from Buenos Aires to Barbados along the Brazilian coast on an organised tour with a group of 35 Australians. In a word: outstanding. Sure, we dressed up and dressed down, because we felt so inclined and in the spirit of the various occasions. Others did not , but still joined in the fun, because it is that kind of ship. I think you have conveyed that kind of spirit in your video.

BRAVO!!! I am in the process of watching all of your videos concerning Regent, Silversea, Explora and Seabourn. There are several fine content producers of cruise videos. For instance Danny Harr films a fine informational video. You however are on a completely different level-in fact you are without peer. Your videos are like a classic Fellini film vs a Spider-Man movie-no comparison. I have one question, with the Silver Spirit “stretch” in 2018, do you feel it now closely approximates the Muse/Daun/Moon class of ships on board experience? Thank you.
Wow, thank you so much 😊 And in answer to your question, yes it does. Though the other ships are more modern, the Silver Spirit is as close as you can get from the ‘older’ Silversea fleet 👍
Hello 2 things.. I am going 2021 not 2020 !, I guess I can't type well ??? Then anxiety comes from making sure picking Silversea over Regent was the right choice... It is a milestone anniversary for us and birthday for my wife so I've got only one chance to do it right. Our bucket list in life included to visit Monte Carlo and the Spirit will be there during the F1 Grand Prix.." also a bucket list item" and the Regent cruise stops there during a quieter time so I do have a bit of "anxiety " if during the race weekend the town will be too busy to enjoy it the town or not. Lastly your great videos and commentary has shown us the Spirit is a beautiful ship, and that was also a concern given lots of videos out there shown the Regent Explorer and soon to come Regent Splendor are the cream of the crop or should I say ocean. We returned from Antarctic on the Silversea 's Explorer in February 2020 into a different world beset by Covid-19. This effectively precluded a return to their fabulous other ships for an anticipated cruise elsewhere in the world. Hoping that Covid will dry up and allow more exploration of exciting destinations on their blissfull cruisers in 2022.

Curious how motion-susceptible these luxury ships are, especially in rough weather. Is the pitch and roll quite evident or do they have the powerful stabilisers the mega ships also utilise?
Even smaller ships like this have decent stabilisers so there's no worry there. Obviously being smaller in proportion to the waves you do feel a little more movement but it's not a problem. :) Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. Please consider subscribing? :)
I agree great stabilisers we tracked a storm while doing a transatlantic crossing. a few years back and can’t say we ever felt uncomfortable. While we normally go for a midships veranda suite I can’t say ever notice much in way of rocking and rolling! We did a cruise on the much smaller Silver Wind (250 guests) and went through some pretty atrocious weather in Northern Canada around the gulf of Saint Lawrence in October but the Captain did a great job in avoi ding the worst of the wether but we never felt the need to miss any meals in the restaurants. In fact the worst night when the Captain actually suggested it might be safest for everyone to return their suites at 11pm had probably the best nights sleep ever with the slight rocking helping rather than hindering! Silver Spirit is more than twice the size so shouldn’t be an issue… if you are at all concerned go for the middle of ship cabins as like on a plane the over wing area is the most stable in turbulence it’s the basic same on a ship. Go centre go lower floors. But we love Deck 7 on Spirit and are more than happy there.
