A bit of clarification on the Excalibastard's nova: when landing a melee on a frozen enemy with the Excalibastard, ir will create a cryo nova. Any crit with it will freeze the enemy as well, including melee crits

When I first got this game I didn't like any of the characters besides Nisha but now after seeing you play as Athena I'm having second guesses about her.
Yeah Athena was the only character I truly finished TPS with.
Nisha is the most broken one... the second is debatable if it's jack or she...

Is Athena really THIS broken? So health and shield regen plus constant blocking, able to auto revive teammates, tanking and dps alongside mass crowd control and practically infinite ammo and strong melee damage? Sounds like gunzerker + psycho krieg + Siren wrapped into one character.

Superheroes_Sodding_Handsome you can literally use anything on her as long as it has shock or fire. You mainly just want a storm front grenade of anything.
Yeaaah and she enjoys killing. Gotta love her laugh upon killing bandits
Yeah but not as good as Krieg or Salvador. You’re forgetting no gunzerk, money shot, overkill, bloodsplosion, bloodbath, and the melee build is nowhere near as strong.
Thing about Bloodrush: I'm unaware of the bug you mentioned, but, applying bleed to a target that isn't already bleeding allows you to immediately use the rush again.

No tediore splitter?
They are considered to be some of the best weapons for Athena.
My recommendation is one in all the elements
Lasers always come elemental and a tediore splitter is like a shotgun, but each pellet does more damage.
A normal splitter has a x3 projectiles but a tediore one has x6 per shot.
Multiplied with their fire rate of 3.5 you can stack incredibly fast.
You get ca. 11.t stacks per second, without DOTs. Each pellet has a chance of ca 6% to proc a DOT that x6 gives one of the highest chance to put an elemental DOT on your enemy. Letting you stack even more.
Maybe joltz prefer accuracy?

Level 1: create the character, open a save editor, hack in the weapons.
@@DHDragon Nah, that dude used to complain all the time about farming in his 0-OP10 playthrough. He'd have like 3, hour-long videos in a row trying to get Lyudas.
@@roebucksruin The Company Man, that he mentions as the literal first weapon and tells you to get one of each element with, is only available through a SHIFT code, once per character.

In my opinion the reflection of bullets is much weaker than the bullets they shoot you with so I would prefer prepare for glory. Once you come out of your skill who ever still standing is going to get hit with that huge damage increase along with omega senshu and smite along with Maelstrom and bleed just melts bosses and mobs a like. Especially if you throw a quasar just before it ends you'll have everyone grouped up for massive dps output.

SolomonExe that’s a fun point, does Salvador’s dual wielding add more melee damage if he’s holding two melee weapons, or does it just stack once? Hell, I don’t even remember if he can melee while gunzerking
@@JurrassicGamer I believe you can stack abilities (such as healing) not damage
Actually, you can dual wield to rapiers and spec for fistful of hurt and all in the reflexes and be extremely OP. However I don't know if the rapiers curse stacks

Anonymous person Yeah, that’s my main problem with the game, too. The Community Patch revives a bit of replayability value, but for someone who plays on a console, it’s a hard game to come back to.
Never clicked off a K6 stream faster.
Cant believe you didnt include heartbreaker, i know it not suppose to be in the game but the community patch places it there and it stacks malestorm way faster than the company man on account of its higher pelt per shot and faster fire rate only down side is mag is pretty small compared to company man (13 and 19 with here storm weave skill) Edit: forgot to mention fire or shock badaboom would do more damage then explosive since she enhances fire and shock unless your going against machines or armor then just spam the shock one

I tried Vladof Gaige and it turned out to be helluva fun with the Patch
Sucks that one had to pre order or be online(shift) to get the fast talker and company man. Notice They are an integral part if most of he builds. Guess ya could just sub the company man for Hyperion shotguns and ol painful instead of fast talker but..........
I know this is a pretty old video and comment but on the community patch (pc only) and you get the company man for doing the mission "voice over" in jack's office.

I was kind of meh to using Athen because 2 of the best weapons are from the Tales From the Borderlands buy the season pass, but a the end you can use even a goddam Vladof Shock Purple Pistol and Still doing a Dmg and is kind of fun actually.

This is a maelstrom and shield build not a sword build with maelstrom. I mean your weapons help but the skill tree isn't all out melee

Non-unique Hyperion shotguns work well also

Flash Freeze is more for bosses... or at least to do a hit kill on them because the bosses aren't that hard in this game...

Been playing the beta. Unfortunately it's not a Fallout game. Bethesda really dropped the ball on that.
However it's not a bad game. It's actually the perfect self-actualized social MMO survival experience. It's just... Not made for Fallout fans. It'd be much better if it were stripped of the Fallout branding.

Any regular purple element Hyperion shotgun works and also using tediore splitters
What could make for a decent alternative for the Company Man?
Viral Marketer. Purple or glitched hyperion shotguns. Storm Fronts can typically stack you up fast to where you can use what you want. A Shreddifer, and The Machine also wreck as well.

For those who see this, I need to ask, how do you get a Storm Front? I’ve tried to grind 3 legendaries to get it, but moonstone grinding always leads to a purple grenade

@@BrimBlam hm, only way really is to keep scrapping legendary grenades, 2 legendaries and a purple i think gets legendary results with moonstone grinds

As a level 50 Athena which skill tree should I max first? @Joltzdude139
It takes a lil while to get good "stacking" weapons for the elemental build (level 30+) unless you farm like crazy or have the community patch. So I go down the middle tree because you get "Gun-kata" and "omega-senchu". Both work well for gun and melee builds. And then i put a few points in the left tree. Movement speed with aspis and aspis duration. I dont take the capstone on the left tree until I get a good amount of points into the elemental tree. I rarely spec into just one tree. Just play around with it. Everyone like something different. At level 50(depending on gear) id max the maelstrom tree except the last 2 tiers. Put those points into the first few skills in the middle and left trees. My level 70 build is same as the first few that Joltz shows in this video
