I see you like Ghost. I am learning by myself in a basic electric drumkit. I wonder if you know any Ghost songs that are easy to follow. My right hand always goes by the right foot no matter how hard I try ahah.. Thanks for doing this!
That's normal. You just need to go slow and I mean as slow as a tortoise crossing the road slow. This will introduce your hands and brain to the new pattern and once you repeated the bar over and over again until you do not have to think about playing it i.e. muscle memory. Then you can start slowly bringing it up to tempo.

@@sarex86 ha ha. I've only been playing a few years myself and I'm 48 now and I can tell you it's not easy. It's very overwhelming. As one newbie to another, if you can get a teacher, get a teacher. Acoustic will always win in terms of feel compared to ekits so you are handicapped for a start! In my eyes they are 2 different instruments. "Run to the Hills" is my list but I think I'm 2-3 years away from that. An easy song to rock out to if you are fan is "Whitesnake - Is This Love". Which ekit do you have?
@@djashjones I can try that one, yeah! But I've never been too patient, I already want to play what I like to hear ahah.. My ekit is a millennium mps-150. Can't have a regular one, my neighbors will come knocking all the time ahah
@@sarex86 Your kit is very entry level so keep it simple. Go for slow songs. Unfortunately learning to play the drums will take a ridiculous about of time of practice and unfortunately patience. Make sure you have plenty of toys as you will throw them out of the pram often and in time, you will know when your kit is not good enough to do what you want. Also get a practice pad and learn the some of the rudiments, a practice pad has great rebound like a real drum head and play with a metronome.
