Rusty's playlist is very helpful and I don't know of a better alternative. But there are a few things you should know when using it:
1) it starts with her originals (#1 - #13) in chronological order,
then the three AGT performances (2019) and three of the four NGT performances (2013/14).
From #20 onwards the covers follow, more or less, but not always in chronological order.
There is a special section with very early studio recordings (#87 - #91) and one for Christmas songs (#124 - #136).
At the end (from #149) are the more recent TikToks - most of them just teasers, but also some full songs.
2) This list only lists each song ONCE, so you'll miss a lot if you limit yourself to it (especially when it comes to different instrumentation, age or occasion) - but the angels will tell you if it's a song There is another notable variant
3) Rusty hasn't updated the list since last August, which is why her last original "Our Time" is missing, as well as the most current Christmas song "Driving home for Christmas" and the last significant occasion (Nobel Peace Prize Concert, "Unchained Melody")
4) There are many videos of exercises, rehearsals and from the booth while recording singles or albums, mostly with bands or orchestras, which are very interesting and are not listed here
5) There are about a dozen interviews on radio/TV that are very insightful (often coupled with a vocal performance).

Sorry Paul, if you look at the Chronological playlist it starts with "I Who Have Nothing" 6-7 years old and moves onto NGT....not sure what list you are viewing. AGT performances do not even start till #79 on the list... Have to think you are looking at the "every song" list. I suggested the Chronological list. Yes the "Every Song" list is now outdated and also jumps all over the place from newer to older and back again. The Chronological list is still fairly accurate to a point, but is pretty much in order of performances.
@@JNDreactions Paul is referring to the "Every Song" list. I suggest the Chronological list from age 6-17 if you want to start from the beginning, not the middle.
@@CarlD70 Hey Carl, yes the "Every Song" playlist was recommended to him (not by me) and you can find the link to it in the description box of this reaction video. So that's what we're talking about.
Of course you're right about the chronological inconsistency, but I think this playlist was recommended because the originals are separate from the covers, but in chronological order - this reactor wanted to see originals from younger to more recent.
Also: the chronological playlist "Through the Years" is only half as long (105 songs), so a lot is missing, even if you subtract the Tiktoks.
And I still withheld the whole truth (namely that there are around 500 videos) because that is sometimes discouraging for reactors new to Angelina. 😉
Angelina is around 12 years old here. She had just recently moved to LA from Norway. The guitarist here is Ivan Mendez and he only worked with her in LA when she was 12 years old. This song was written considerably some time earlier because she recorded a version of it with the Staff band of the Norwegian armed forces when she was 11. Another earlier song she wrote is "Oslo". She also arranged and recorded a version of Screamin' Jay Hawkins 1956 song "I Put a Spell on You" when she was only 9 years old. It is one you definitely want to react to. Yes! "We see a picture of what she is saying." I describe her voice as "3-D". It seems to leap off the page, as it were, and become alive. I have never heard another singer who sounds so visual and so real. Great reaction!
She is about 12. She performed her own song Shield at 12 on TV. She is asked before hand do uou feel like ac12 year old. She answered only when I looked at my passport.

You will find that Angelina writes about emotions and topics that you would think are far beyond her age. She also wrote a book when she was 9 years old about why she performs barefoot on the stage - very sophisticated writing.
JND, she's not older, she's two years younger than at Agt when she wrote this song for her first Album it's magic 🪄 and so she's pure magic and well known for her storytelling abilities 🎉❤

She's undeniably was pretty I mean pretty talented and got a lovely vocal ability also although she was in younger Age though..that's unbelievable my man.!
So sorry for you, here she is not so young. Here she is 12, 5 years older to her start in Norway Got Talent. Almost half of her age at this moment.
Angelina has been writing songs since she was 10 years 0ld - So far 12 have been released: Oslo, What is Life?, Shield, Million Miles, 7th Heaven, Love Don't Let Me Go, Now I'm The Fool, Fire and Rain, All My Fault, Good in Goodbyes, Diamond, and Our Time. Angelina has stated that she has written about 100 songs that have yet to be released. Her songs are taken from her Journal writings. When she was 10/11 she rewrote the Lyrics to Amy Winehouse's Back to Black and Rehab to make them more age appropriate at that time.
Thank you for the beautiful reaction, it's really magical her perfect tranquility and ease of singing and composing the story. I really love this song of hers, it's so simple, sweet and deep at the same time, perfect for her wonderful velvet voice, is stunning also for her profound lyrics, "...maybe life's a just a memory, we come, we see, we go ..."! Most enjoyable journey to me is from the beginnings stages. Astounding, incredible vocal and emotional development. Notably, no other young singer, no less a prodigy, has a portfolio of live, studio, practices, tic toks, charitable events and simple acoustic studio performances either alone with a track or with one guitar player, No one. Its an incomparable musical journey of emotional pleasure. Trust the Angels advice, always. Welcome aboard the musical journey of a lifetime! 😉

GREETINGS EARTH GUY: Pay attention to the guy on the guitar. He keeps getting blissful expression during her performance. He moves with her. He is in her video cover of Rihanna's song Stay. He said the only complaint he had about working with her is that he keeps forgetting what he doing as he get drawn into the sheer beauty of her tone.

Got me, I subscribed for more Angelina. If you want to start at the beginning, she was 18 MONTHS old!!! Won Norways got talent age 7-8. Over 200 songs on YT and she’s written over 100 with 12 released so far.

Angelina wrote new lyrics for two famous songs by Amy Winehouse, "Back to Black" and "Rehab" since it was inappropriate for a preteen to sing the original lyrics. For "Back to Black" Angelina wrote the new lyrics in the 24 hours prior to the recording, then needed just two takes.
She is younger here than she was on AGT. At this age, 12, Quincy Jones asked that she perform at an event in London celebrating his 85th birthday.

Angelinas grandmother Meri Zamani was also a child prodigy a poet and painter. Read her own poetry on a local radio as a preschooler.. Angelinas mother said Angelina got Talent from her grandmother.

Her earliest recordings are from when she was a year and a half. NGT she entered at 7. You could go back a lot further if it pleases you. In general, just take the path that seems the most fun to you :-)
I understand the idea of focussing on her originals. However she is from a jazz and blues background where doing your take on the grand epics is very common. Her arrangements and takes on big songs are very much part of her artistry. But again do as you please 👍
Thank you, for another heartfelt reaction to Angelina singing her first original song. Although she is singing it at the age of 12, she wrote it when she was eleven. And, by the way, at age 12 she had been in the public eye for 5 years - since her audition on Norway's Got Talent in 2014, In this video she is roughly one year younger than she performed "Bohemian Rhapsody", on America's Got Talent - The Champions.
Simple words by an 11-year-old child describing the things that are important to her at that age, but when one listens carefully one realises that those words are of great emotional depth to which all of us can relate.
For me, that a child can so clearly tell us in simple words what is important to her is remarkable, and then when one listens closely realises that those simple words describe an intellectual and emotional depth which is certainly unusual in one so young.
Why not switch between old and recent music? It would be so pitty when you have to wait till you have watched all the "old" music. Angelina has made lots of progress over the last 10-12 years (of course she has) but almost every video out there is awesome (there are a few channels on RUclips which are dedicated to Angelina Jordan's music). A top-tip: "It's a man's World". Angelina did perform that live with the Staff Brassband of the Norwegian army when she was 12. It will "blow your socks off": garanteed!

This is nowhere near her youngest;) Not sure what playlist you have, but I have yet to see one that is actually chronological. I have seen people say that about a playlist, only to check it out and see it's all over the place. lol Maybe I have just looked at the wrong ones. Have fun on your journey:) it's magical! On that playlist, #17 would be her youngest, well not her youngest vid, but that's when she made a name for herself. It was the first of 4 performances on Norway's Got Talent. She was 7 in on that, and turned 8 during the competition when she won.
