Angelina has mixed genres in her new EP trying to bring younger and older listeners together.She loves the old classics and grew up singing them but she would like to branch out to more contemporary music.Hopefully it is reactors such as you that can get younger viewers involved in her music.She is young and would like to please more than just us older generation but while staying true to herself.She has several songs out that I feel could do this but we have to get the younger crowd aware of her

This was the first performance I ever heard from her about 6 years ago. I had never heard of her. It randomly came up on RUclips. I always liked the song so I gave it a go. I was speechless to say the least. I played it over and over. By the time I discovered "I Put A Spell On You", I was a big fan. I don't listen to hard rock/metal so much these days. AJ is my playlist. Your observation about the older fan base is accurate. At 68 I count in that group. To be fair, she covers a lot of songs from way before my time. Just my opinion JND regarding the audience views and the age group your YT statistics show you. We "older" folks appreciate "real" music and that includes all the classic songs Angelina has chosen to sing, she was brought up on great music and great artists and appreciates what that music is, she is quite brilliant. Again, my opinion, the current generation and or younger generation is fed mostly the junk that the music industry feeds them, the lip syncing, auto tuned, highly mixed and produced stuff that creates so called "stars" out of highly mediocre singers adding lots of dazzle, costumes, back up dancers etc..etc.. Very few actually know what a real artist or a masterful vocalist is these days...just watch the "Grammy's". As people mature in age you just get it. I really enjoy seeing someone in your young age appreciate artistry in music so a shout out to you JND. Personally, I grew up on Rock/Metal music but recognize real musical talent when I hear it...and Angelina is that, once in a generation talent. Just my humble opinion.🥰🥰

I've just completed my first three-quarter century but even for me this style of music was before my time - just. I grew up with The Beatles and a completely different sound. Angelina is straight out of the fifties. When I first heard her sing this I didn't like it much because I didn't care for this style of music. But Angelina quickly changed all that! She makes everything come new again. Now I can't get enough of her! Regarding her clarity of words, many people have said they have been listening to a particular song for years but never really heard the lyrics until they heard Angelina sing it. I like your thoughts and reactions when it comes to Angelina. I am 61 and it surprised me when you say that no one is over 40. At the same time, Angelina has the ambition that she will and will sing for the whole world, and she has laid a good foundation for all age groups to eventually come to the list to our barefoot princess. No artist has captured all age groups, not even over an entire career, I think. Angelina is guaranteed to have style that will also take the youngest music lovers with her. If you heard the most popular version of the song sung by Dinah Washington in the 50's you would be shocked to hear both of them together (Dinah Washington in her 30's and Angelina at 8 years old). In answer to your question, yes, that is a concern of people in Angelina's camp but here is the solution. What she sings and her style is not what the young people today listen to. They listen to, well, I don't know what it is but I don't call it music. So, rather than Angelina sing differently to attract the younger audience she will continue to do what she does (her originals are getting good feedback from the younger crowd) and the point is let them begin to realize Angelina is what music is all about and she will eventually draw them in so that they can listen to real music. Believe me, Angelina will pull it off. When one of them stops listening to bang, bang, bang, and they hear her sing, once they make the adjustment they need to do they will come on board to join all of us around the world. Sooner than later, EVERYONE IN THE WORLD will know who Angelina Jordan is.

Older fans- If you were born 6 or 7 decades ago as many of Angelina’ s fans, you would have lived through the Iconic vocalist’s work that has withstood the test of time. This creates a baseline to judge Angelina against the best of the best. This young lady is right there with them. I don’t remember them pulling me into a song like she can. Great reaction. Yes it would seem that Angelina has a primarily older fan base. I think the reasoning behind that is the type of music she started with when she was very young, jazz and stabsards. This would attract an older audience. However I think we all realize that Angelina will need to also appeal to a younger audience to have a long and successful career. Us old timers are not going to be around forever. I think her newer music is a step in that direction. Maybe fans in their late teens and twenties to thirties. Somme of her older fans would seem to prefer that she stick with the music she started with but the truth is she has been expanding her music style for years, even when she was still fairly young. I think she needs to do the music she wants to do. Some of her music may not fit with what some fans want her to do but I think she needs to be true to herself. I personally love her own music and look for to more of her originals. I respect an artist even more when they create their own material.

I love your reactions to Angelina. I am 71 and love all kinds of music, the 60’s was my era, but I appreciate modern music too (maybe not rap because I can’t understand what is being said). I think most young people tend to think current music is the only music, although there are exceptions, yourself included. I have always felt that Angelina cut the last note of kind of short even though it was long for one her age, and that she probably could have held it even longer if she wanted to; it seemed to me like she had more breath left to extend it. more. Just my opinion JND regarding the audience views and the age group your YT statistics show you. We "older" folks appreciate "real" music and that includes all the classic songs Angelina has chosen to sing, she was brought up on great music and great artists and appreciates what that music is, she is quite brilliant. Again, my opinion, the current generation and or younger generation is fed mostly the junk that the music industry feeds them, the lip syncing, auto tuned, highly mixed and produced stuff that creates so called "stars" out of highly mediocre singers adding lots of dazzle, costumes, back up dancers etc..etc.. Very few actually know what a real artist or a masterful vocalist is these days...just watch the "Grammy's". As people mature in age you just get it. I really enjoy seeing someone in your young age appreciate artistry in music so a shout out to you JND. Personally, I grew up on Rock/Metal music but recognize real musical talent when I hear it...and Angelina is that, once in a generation talent. Just my humble opinion.🥰🥰

My favorite at this age. So beautiful and close to the way Dinah Washington sang it. A mashup on youtube will prove that. This was right after she won Norway's Got Talent. Her voice already sounds like a seasoned professional that has been performing for Decades. Her visit to the USA included her appearance on the View with Rosie O'Donnel doing a short interview before she sings 'Fly Me to the Moon'. You gotta do that next. My second favorite at this age. I've just completed my first three-quarter century but even for me this style of music was before my time - just. I grew up with The Beatles and a completely different sound. Angelina is straight out of the fifties. When I first heard her sing this I didn't like it much because I didn't care for this style of music. But Angelina quickly changed all that! She makes everything come new again. Now I can't get enough of her! Regarding her clarity of words, many people have said they have been listening to a particular song for years but never really heard the lyrics until they heard Angelina sing it. I like your thoughts and reactions when it comes to Angelina. I am 61 and it surprised me when you say that no one is over 40. At the same time, Angelina has the ambition that she will and will sing for the whole world, and she has laid a good foundation for all age groups to eventually come to the list to our barefoot princess. No artist has captured all age groups, not even over an entire career, I think. Angelina is guaranteed to have style that will also take the youngest music lovers with her. After all, she is a genius😍 and only 18.
There are many younger viewers..you can see them in the comments and also her original songs are being covered by young singers..she is a role model for young female singers for sure..
She gives us a chance to hear the songbook standards once again live. Most of the great singers were gone by the 90s. Angelina will take music from this era to generations that we will never see in her future.

Angelia sings the music of the older generations time as well as today’s music. Also as compared to a lot of todays music ( where we have no idea what the lyrics are or they are taking the song and showing the highest vocals they have which often over shadows what the song is about ) we can not only understand the lyrics Angelina is singing but we can also feel them ❤️

This is a favorite performance of many, many Angelina 'angels'. There are so many wonderful things going on. If you heard the most popular version of the song sung by Dinah Washington in the 50's you would be shocked to hear both of them together (Dinah Washington in her 30's and Angelina at 8 years old). In answer to your question, yes, that is a concern of people in Angelina's camp but here is the solution. What she sings and her style is not what the young people today listen to. They listen to, well, I don't know what it is but I don't call it music. So, rather than Angelina sing differently to attract the younger audience she will continue to do what she does (her originals are getting good feedback from the younger crowd) and the point is let them begin to realize Angelina is what music is all about and she will eventually draw them in so that they can listen to real music. Believe me, Angelina will pull it off. When one of them stops listening to bang, bang, bang, and they hear her sing, once they make the adjustment they need to do they will come on board to join all of us around the world. Sooner than later, EVERYONE IN THE WORLD will know who Angelina Jordan is.

Older fans- If you were born 6 or 7 decades ago as many of Angelina’ s fans, you would have lived through the Iconic vocalist’s work that has withstood the test of time. This creates a baseline to judge Angelina against the best of the best. This young lady is right there with them. I don’t remember them pulling me into a song like she can. Yes it would seem that Angelina has a primarily older fan base. I think the reasoning behind that is the type of music she started with when she was very young, jazz and stabsards. This would attract an older audience.
However I think we all realize that Angelina will need to also appeal to a younger audience to have a long and successful career. Us old timers are not going to be around forever. I think her newer music is a step in that direction. Maybe fans in their late teens and twenties to thirties.
Somme of her older fans would seem to prefer that she stick with the music she started with but the truth is she has been expanding her music style for years, even when she was still fairly young.
I think she needs to do the music she wants to do. Some of her music may not fit with what some fans want her to do but I think she needs to be true to herself. I personally love her own music and look for to more of her originals. I respect an artist even more when they create their own material.

I love your reactions to Angelina. I am 71 and love all kinds of music, the 60’s was my era, but I appreciate modern music too (maybe not rap because I can’t understand what is being said). I think most young people tend to think current music is the only music, although there are exceptions, yourself included. I’m sure Angelina understands this and will no doubt be bringing out songs to appeal to everyone. She certainly has the ability. I can’t wait for the whole World to wake up to the wonderful gift we have been given, Angelina!
the reason is the younger ones do not even know something like Jazz exists. I recognize this on and on. There is no muisic history knowledge. A lot of these youngsters don´t know any classical songs or music icons like Janis Joplin , But there is more to discover, I wish they would.

JND ... I heard this a couple of years ago and I absolutely adore it. Its a shame she grew up too quickly to the point that I wonder if she actually experienced growing up. But she's one in the world to actually have all the traits for deep soul jazz ... Diana Krall comes to mind.
This is one of my very favorite videos of Angelina to listen to , but also to watch. See how she closes her eyes and really gets lost in the song. She feels what she sings and we see it and feel it too. That's why she is SO good......she feels that song.
She was sooo damn adorable at this age, with that gorgeous mane. I say this often, but still bears repeating. When a reactor friend if mine first saw this she responded " This is not real life"!
