Quick tip for anyone running phantomize, there's a strange bug that'll occasionally happen if you phantomize while in a rangers trap that prevents you from being able to do anything at all except look around. You won't be able to disarm the trap after phantomize is over and you won't be able to move the few feet you normally can with the chain attached. Doesn't seem to happen every time, but it sucks when it does.
Hey just so you are aware, if you use a STAFF instead it will add the staffs magic damage to the base damage of dark reflection, which means dark reflection will do base 20 (+any additional damge) damage with a blue staff compared to your base of 10. The staff magic damage also scales with magic power, so people commonly run the WILL perk over the DARK MAGIC 10% perk. Additionally, as Blow of Corruption is not dark magic, it is only affected by the will perk, and not the dark magic perks. However, I am unsure of + magic damage affects the staff in melee attacks and im inclined to believe it does not. Assuming you have 60% + base 35% + 5% from gear for a total of 100% dark magic bonus damage, reflection will do 40 damamge or more if you have +magic or +true magic on gear). Hope this helps :)
@@itsjenks oh also the crystal bal magic damage works for reflection also, so if you use falchion + ball it will add 3-7 magic damage to the base damage of reflection as well, useful for if you want to still cast quiclky, as staff has -25% casting speed compared to orb and book
@@itsjenks yah I recommend staff, they sell relatively cheap, only reduce by 20 move speed, and have easy attack pattern for headshots. I do recommend taking a halberd or bardiche or even falchion as your second weapon to clear mobs as the staff range is quite cheeks.
