so nice of you to give us a follow up of the last video. I'll be grafting pears very soon. there is not a lot of information on grafting different spicies. I have asian root stock i grew from seed. I just ordered scion wood to graft. I also have a Callery pear that only flowers but does not make fruit. Im interested if i can graft asian pear on it. I'm going to try. I got my scion wood from cricket hill gardens. They have a ton of selections and i think the prices are more than fair. Just in case you want more variety of pears without having to buy new trees. I also have one of those grafting tool. honestly i don't think they are that great. I happy your graft took. I hoinestly did not think it would. I find the grafting tape that came with the graft cutter to garbage. My suggestion is to use cut wide rubber bands or grafting rubbers and or grafting buddy tape(a little pricey but one roll will last a long time)
there are a lot of good grafting videos. some are better than others
    Cảm ơn

Awesome! Thank you for your feedback and tips.
You're right. Not everyone of them would take. That's awesome that you have many varieties to Graft onto your rootstock. I like Asian pears most and a couple of ther crunchy varieties. I'd definitely graft another one on if the fruit is good. It's been really fun for me to do a few a year.
I have a few grafted that gave fruits last year and I just grafted a few more this year.

I have the same trees, I planted a Kieffer last year, did not fruit then, but this month it was covered in flowers and still covered with flowers; my Asian Shinko pears are just leafing, no buds, looks like they are suffering here bec I have a Juniper in the yard and my neighbor behind has a large juniper - cedar rust is a big issue; I spray with Copper too and Lime Sulfur but that rust is so hard to get rid of; also Fire blight is an issue in DFW. What kind of Asian pears are those two?

My neighbor has about 10 of them at about 10' from my asian pears. Each year kids of hit and miss. They are hosui and starks giant Ithink.

@@fishsaucemama yesterday I planted 2 Korean giant pears in yard! Shinko is now budding. My Hosui is finished with flowers and lots of fruits all over but I don't think it can hold that much. It's 8 ft tall but still young, maybe just 3/4 caliper and young branches. Got it fr Calloway last year. Never go wrong with Calloway.

Wow.. they do tend to have a lot of fruit set, but it will be hard to take some away. I think my trees are getting help thinning the fruits from the squirrels. Lol. I am kind of afraid to manually thin them and, by season end, have nothing left.
