Boring Beta Male

  • The effect a boring beta male who is too nice has on a woman’s attraction & his ability to keep her attracted and interested long-term, vs. a happy alpha male who attracts and keeps women effortlessly.
In this video coaching newsletter, I discuss an email from a female viewer who was married to her ex-husband for fifteen years. They had two kids together. She says that he was a really nice and sweet man. She describes how his constant need for validation and never feeling like he deserved her, led to her eventually agreeing with him. She says that she never quite understood why she felt like he was more of a brother than a lover to her. She finally decided to listen to her gut and left him. At the time, she could not explain to him why she no longer wanted to be married to him despite his demand for an explanation for the divorce. He was loyal, helpful, nice and a good father. He made the mistake of making her his mommy, therapist and nurse. After finding my work she was able to finally understand why she felt the way she did towards him, and viewed him as another kid to take care of instead of being a teammate, lover, friend and equal. Her email perfectly illustrates from a woman’s point of view the importance and necessity for a man to be a leader, centered, masculine & confident in his relationships to prevent rejection.
“The outer world tends to match our inner world. How we view ourselves will determine how other people view us as well. When we see ourselves as being amazing & deserving, we will act accordingly and attract people who will reinforce & vibe with our perception. When we see ourselves as being undesirable and undeserving, we will act accordingly & attract people who validate this perception as well. When we love & accept ourselves, we allow others to love us. When we don’t love & accept ourselves, not only will we not allow others to love us, but also deep down we won’t believe anything good that they see or acknowledge about us. We push away those who are not in harmony with our self-perception and attract those who are. Choose your self-talk and thoughts wisely.” ~ Coach Corey Wayne

This one really hit home. I feel like the guy that the email is talking about. Our circumstances are different but the same outcome. I invested everything into this 7 year marriage. I put her on a pedestal. I treated her like a rock star. I thought we were best friends. She meant everything to me. Had she sat me down and said that I was doing this behavior and it was bothering her so much that she was considering divorce, I could have worked on myself to change (like I'm doing now) but instead she just wanted a divorce. No chance of fixing anything. She's just done. None of her family gets it, none of my family gets it. Even her own kids don't get it. I can't even begin to imagine what this guy is going through because of the kids. I have a better understanding of women thanks to you Corey but it doesn't ease the pain. A very difficult and hard learned lesson.

Funny, I ran across "boring beta male" after this weekend while implementing your teaching, I danced all night with my wife..(never been much of a dancer) I had 4 beautiful females staring at me (most of the guys were not dancing) and found out later they told my wife "your husband is so fun!" Girls don't like boring, girls just want to have fun!

How evil one must be to divorce a good father over something so trivial. All she wanted was to return to the streets. I like Coach, but I can't congratulate a woman for destroying a family just so she could hop on Chad's thunder 🐓.

I've been with boring beta males and sexy bad boys and finding a middle ground is nearly impossible, but that's what we seek. If you meet a mate with high value, he spreads himself too thin, but if you meet one with lower value, you end up in a state of neglect, abuse or both. With the destigmatization and increasing popularity of divorce, more and more men have been, and are being, raised by women. And the obverse, more and more women are growing up without any modeling by a stable male figure in their lives. Most of the comments here sound like observations made inside a bubble, with no insight into how American relationships are falling apart. Culturally, we can argue that it's the strategy of the elitists to destroy mainstream American values by disintegrating the family unit. Once the basic unit of human interaction and community (family) is destroyed, we move toward selfishness and greater internal conflict. Soon, the majority will be homosexual, bisexual or abstinent and population control will have been effected without law or overt social and political control. But, however you look at it or explain it, we are already on a collision course toward destruction and we are complicit.
They threw alcohol at us and addiction is at pandemic proportions. They threw porn at us and even women are addicted in record numbers. They threw food, prescription drugs, illicit drugs and virtual reality. What do we have to blame but our own foolishness and immaturity? We have lost our way as a nation. Over half the population lost its way spiritually and everything else follows. Perhaps the next generation following the Millennials will revive the family unit. Maybe.

I've walked a long path on what is the trend; feminism. I never identified myself as such. But there's a sort of social engineering made to get you reason irrationally. They don't care about women problems. Is mind-blowing when you realize how things really are.
I've never hated any woman in life even though I had bad experiences in my past. What is sad is seeing men harbouring hate against woman because they aren't able to fully realize what is going on.
There's not such thing as alpha males or beta males. A man cannot be defined around women but himself. The most important relationship in a man's life is with himself. You just collect the necesary attributes to become a reliable man.
I don't believe in such thing as the millennials. They are made up demographics. They are not reliable. I've witnessed really capable men falling to petty fears and joining lines to the progre-posmo army.
Humanity won't fall apart. Family was, is and will be the corner stone of society.

I was talking with my mother the other day about relationships and stuff and I brought up how I would probably have a pre-nup written up before I get married and had kids. She thought that was a terrible idea. I didn't think much of it until I stumbled onto this channel and finally saw how my dad traded in his masculine card a while back. Oh well, at least I see the signs now.

This woman wrote this email to Corey to get validation because she feels guilty about destroying her own family and Corey has given her just that. Corey is very quick to criticise this poor man without hearing his side of the story. I am sorry but i don't agree with you Corey on this one, usually i do but on this one you kind of put this woman on the pedestal and validated her. Not one single thing did you mention she did wrong, it was all the man's fault for 15 years, yet his ex wife describes him as a good man.

Sad to say this is true. Men will leave the woman for a younger and better looking one which is messed up itself. Relationships just aren't worth it because people don't know how to treat each other. People will never be able to understand or appreciate what love really is. Also a woman will leave a good guy like the man in the email and never look back but will fight for relationships with abusive fucks that couldn't give a shit about them. Women are so damn strange that it's ridiculous.

Trust me. There are some clingy, cringy men out there. Not all, but enough that most women have dated at least one man who has done some over dramatic shit. There are guys who say ‘I love you’ on first dates, get mad if they message a stranger and don’t get a reply within a few hours. There are guys who tell women how to wear their hair, and ‘don’t allow’ them to get a tattoo or piercing. I’ve been on dates with guys who have asked me to change how I dress, quit my job because I made more than them, and drop out of school because ‘you’re hot enough to not need work. We can just get married and then you’ll be fine.’ I’ve been on dates what the dude got insulted that I wanted to split the check, and then got even more insulted that o either didn’t want to sleep with him, or I turned down a second date. Their reason: ‘so I paid for your meal for free?’ Again, this is after I requested to pay my half of the check. There are guys who go through their gf’s phone, tell them they can’t have male friends, or possibly any friends. There are guys who act like it’s the end of the world if a woman won’t go on a date with them, yet ending term relationships because their gf asked them to help them with dinner. I’ve met a surprising amount of men who have never cooked it done housework. If they are single, mommy does it all for them... even if they have their own apartment. I had a guy ask me to quit working after a few casual dates because ‘it’s time to get serious and real women don’t work.’ Instead is accosting when I said ‘ok, this is not what I want,’ he begged me to change a major part of my life for him. That’s just the more mild bad dating experiences I’ve seen and had. I can’t speak for all women, but my friends and I just expect someone who will share finances and home responsibilities, have a balance of mutual and delegate interests, shows respect and sees us as their equal, who is on a path similar enough to ours that we will grow together, but not lose any part of our identities. Most men I know are not needy, fragile babies who expect us to give up our individuality and fun for them, and most men will fit the basic guidelines of your average woman, but needy, weak, ‘I’m an alpha male who can’t use a stove’ dudes definitely exist.

She never said she tried to talk to her husband. Corey in his book says that women should help us in that when men don't understand how to act like men, it is not an obligation but they should. She could have bought the book and give it to him; she had to communicate. Sure, he has lots of things to change but I don't think she wanted to save that relationship either.

Simple, don't be a nice guy....treat her like a piece of meat to shag and ignore so she keep chasing, tell her you love her now and again but always make sure she is guessing on my feelings to her......
Err nope, i will always strive to be a gentleman, grounded, secure and dominant but with manners. I will treat my woman with respect and take the lead in all while valuing her opinion....i will work on my-self always and provide a caring environment for my partner and children. I will learn how to please her in the bedroom in ways she feels dominated while loved, respected and safe.....yes i will love and respect my partner but she will know i want her and not need her.

If you're mad at the lady who typed up this email... then you don't understand female psychology.
The person talking in this video is completely right. Listen, financial stability is cool and all but that's not what sexual attraction is about. If you think financial stability/resources are the end all be all of attraction then YOU are the superficial one, not the girl.
I'm not saying money doesn't attract women but would you rather attract a woman with an external resource or your own personality/sexual polarity?
This channel is awesome, thanks Corey.

kind of funny to notice how all the emails from women are on the lines of "my ex was broken so i got rid of him", and the emails from guys are on the lines of "i fucked up, help me get her back". god forbid the day when a woman will admit to part of the blame for a fucked relationship.

This woman has serious issues. Another guy would have dumped her arse well before the 15 years were up. At what point did she act feminine towards her husband to put him in his masculine? He just reflected her negative energy. Losing a woman like this would be a great relief to many. It would be interesting to hear the husband's side or where he is now with women.

12:40 Woman vasilating and going from acting very feminine and very sexy to kind of acting like a dude, trying to be the leader, trying to make all the decisions - instantly the sexual attraction evaporates. You can literally feel it happen.
15:25 Having a domineering mother, and if the father was around, the father was probably dominated by the mother (Corey's family). When you see that in your family, you try not to rock the boat, just go along with everything and become a people pleaser. Women love a man who has a fucking spine and stands up for himself and just simply says yes or no depending on what he wants.

OMGGGG! This is exactly the type of guy im dating right now. There was something i couldnt put my finger on as to why my attraction has decreased. THIS IS WHY. I grew up with my dad being an alpha male. He was retired but a masculine man I had a GREAT relationship with. I respected him sooo much. I am a very feminine woman and I cant have i guy that I cant respect. Your explanation was on point and helped me understand clearly why this wont work out. I care about his feelings and do not wish to lead him on but didnt want to let a nice guy go. He is a good guy but not the guy for me.

Instead of congratulating that woman, how about considering the aspect that she fed her ex-husband false cues all this time by accepting situations, lying about sex, etc.? She might have been gradually unhappier and her husband might have drifted away from what she initially liked in him indeed, but it's a terrible strategy to expect your partner to be a mind reader, especially if you're wearing a mask. The real courage, the true intelligence isn't to endure until you just leave without even being able to explain why (the classic), it's to try and figure out what brings back harmony in yourself and in the relationship and express it. Now either partners can be lost at this (lacking the tools, the awareness, the hindsight), but pretending until it's too late helps no one. Yet another fucking waste.

    • @CoachCoreyWayne

Post consistently and at the same times every week. look at your competition and see what they are doing and model what they are doing successfully. Get sound panels for your video studio so your voice does not bounce off the walls. I get mine from here: www.acoustimac.com/ Add thumbnail images to all of your existing and future new videos with the video title on them like mine have. that doubled my subscriber add rate when I did that. organize your channel into categories on your channel homepage similar to what I've done on mine: Hair, Eyes, Clothes, etc., whatever your categories happen to be. Add a paragraph or two that describes what your video is to the video description that appears underneath every video. Example of my video text from the "show more" tab from todays video:
"The art of negotiating a great deal so you can achieve your outcomes & reach your full potential.
In this video coaching newsletter I discuss a short email success story from a viewer who has been following my work for about six months. He details how it has changed the way he thinks about himself, the value he brings to the table and how he now negotiates from a position of strength to achieve his outcomes. He went from practically begging women to pay attention to him, to being able to approach them anytime, anyplace and anywhere. They often ask for his phone number and later call to ask him out for dates despite the fact they know he is dating other women. I also discuss twelve of my recent Instagram quotes and the success philosophies behind them, and how you can use their wisdom to negotiate better personal and professional deals."
That helps google/youtube determine what your video is about so it knows who to show/suggest your video to. Get a google adsense account set up so you can show ads on your videos to monetize them. That quadrupled my subscriber add rate when I did that. If google can show ads on your videos it will suggest them more. You will get paid for ads but most importantly, you will get more subscribers. Add a "subscribe" button to your videos.

Now, to address this video, Corey, you've got to address these issues from a psychological and/or spiritual point of view. It's blatantly obvious that the woman was with a man who needs personal counseling and healing. He is obviously damaged, broken from childhood trauma and people (codependents especially) continue to nurse the fantasy that enough love will heal them. No, it will not. The man had self-love deficit disorder, depression and self-loathing. He based his worth and lovability on being a provider and he was emotionally unavailable and unable to provide emotional and spiritual nurture, encouragement and healthy love. He is so insecure as a result of childhood trauma that he could not initiate sex either. Sadly, the woman in the email was not astute or aware enough to see him from an individual and objective standpoint. So she thought she could fix him herself. She needed to leave him, just as she did, and he needs to avoid relationships until he gets himself the counseling and healing needed to be able to sustain a healthy relationship. Broken and dysfunctional people tend to think that relationships should just work and when they fail, over and over, they assume ALL human relationships fail, when in fact, it's their unhealthy mind attracting another unhealthy mind why the relationship is doomed without healing, because that's the nature of human beings. When I hear shallow and selfish explanations, it's as ignorant and superficial as if a scientist hears one lay person say to another lay person, "All human cells must be cancerous because some people get cancer." I'm sure many wish it were that simple, but the truth is that without understanding, we lack the language and the concepts to interpret events in our lives and the mind has an uncanny ability to fill in the gaps for survival.

Fact is she was looking for reasons to stay with him for 15 years until her lack of being happy in the first place caught up to her. She fell for the bait and has nobody to blame but her self. She only hated the things in him that she hated in herself. Maybe she should of gotten a hobby in life instead of putting her happiness in a mans hands. She had no self love or self respect to begin with.

How can you prove to someone that you know what you done wrong, know the mistakes you made and that you've changed?
With my ex I pushed her away and got complacent but how can she see that I've changed if we are no longer in contact?
When she broke up with me I've walked away and not tried contacting her since. It's been 2 months and I saw her last night for the first time since the break up, we smiled at eachother and that was it.
I was with another girl all night laughing a joking so I guess she didn't like that but she didn't try to come and speak to me or anything

I see where your coming from, I think there is a two way street with society and relationships, this is the microcosm, there is also feminism, media in modernity, that is the macrocosm. I think these things help and I agree men should work improving themselves and their relationship skills, but there are external factors. Example microcosm, guy is fat and low self esteem microcosm, macrocosm - the economy, politics(feminism).
