@@braddorman4709 yeah I didn't hide that one well in the video and especially not in the thumbnail 😅 I got it just a few days before Christmas and then I got sinusitis, so most of the time I've been feeling to ill to actually play it. Hope to really put it to the test sometime soon and make a video once I actually feel better, but I'm sure it's great. So far I know that it takes pedals better than any amp I've ever tried and has the best working master volume I've ever tried. So that takes it a long way!
@@StevenAnthonyGuitarthinking about taking a chance on a Z and the wreck and z28 are both contenders. I don’t have anything British flavored today, but the Z28 seems like a improved fender/American voice
@braddorman4709 what do you need it for? British voiced I'd go for the Z-Wreck for sure. So far the Z28 is more like a blank slate that can do a lot, but the Z-Wreck Jr. does a specific thing really well.
@ looking for an different voice for gigging. I play big clean Fenders today but rarely play squeaky clean so without gain/master I have always on pedals. I know they are both completely different voices but both can do great (but different) edge of breakup / light crunch tones.
@@braddorman4709 I think the Z-Wreck Jr. would be more different from what you've already got. But you can wait until my video for the Z28 MKII drops and decide yourself. I obviously have more mileage on the Z-Wreck Jr. and it has been one of my favorite amps for a while.
That Marshall really is the secret weapon though.
@@John-xd6ns which one of the two? Marshalls aren't a secret with me 😜
@@StevenAnthonyGuitar Yes, not really a secret but still a weapon lol, I'm partial to the 1987X .
@@John-xd6ns a weapon indeed, often my weapon of choice! Finally got a 1959HW too, but that's a video for next year ;)
You forgot the Hi-hat stand of the year, with the new aquired hi-hat stand
@@MorryMols do you mean the newly acquired drummer that had to be nagged into bringing a hi-hat stand? 😄
@@StevenAnthonyGuitar Yes that one! 🤣
Looking forward to a video on the Z-28 (and your thoughts on how/where it fits alongside the wreck jr)
