I would love to visit that particular store. When I made my decision to buy a Standard, I learned from one of their videos called”Les Paul vs. Les Paul vs. Les Paul etc….” I Got a Standard 👍 Cool Content Fella 🤘
Ya I love my Greeny, knowing the history and story behind it makes the guitar even more valuable to me. But my Greeny is aged cuz I’ve had it since 2022 when it came out
Epis are way better than most cheaper Gibbies, and can be good gigging, practice guitars. you can always have the custom shop and a good Epi on the side.
I would've loved to pick up that white SG near the beginning of your video. Btw, if you are interested in joining a band hit me up! We're looking for a guitarist 🎸 -Titus
We started out as a mainly Post Hardcore and metalcore band, but now we're more free-form. Lots of inspirations from Punk, Pop Punk, Metal, Metalcore, Midwestern Emo, etc
@@DestroyTheNorth I’m more metal head like Metallica of course,,green day and megadeath but I also like making up stuff as I play and if it sounds good I’ll hit record
Same here! I grew up on punk rock and metal, and then fell in love with metalcore in highschool. We'd love to have you on board, you're a cool dude. You don't have to decide right away, just contact us if you're down. 🤟
Ive had a usa studio, a usa standard, and 2 custom shop les pauls (R9 and R7) There is a resonance difference that you feel through the neck when playing the reissues that doesn't exist on the USA standards probably due to the long neck tenon or the bridge screwing into the body of the guitar on small posts. That extra resonance/ vibrational response makes the reissues worth it to me. I bought my R7 on reverb for 3,000$ you just have to find someone who will go down on the price and possibly pick it up in person (paying cash). Good luck!
I’d rather buy the reissue r9 from my guitar store I go to. It’s 10$k but I’d pay half the value of the guitar plus they told me that the reissue Les Paul’s are way better the the standards like you said.
I'm shocked they have these guitars within reach. Really nice for someone who is actually trying to buy it but everyone else, yikes. Here (USA), $1000+ guitars usually are behind counters or up high.
Very true. When I went to guitar center during my trip they didn’t let me try out the expensive Gibson Les Paul’s lol . But my guitar store I go to all the employees know me very well and trust me
If you're a metal head go for the custom shop regular Gibson Les Paul custom in ebony. Aesthetically and tonally is most fitting for you. They are making them these days better than ever in the custom shop with long tenons and comfortable c-shape necks. You can't go wrong. I would personally stay away from the R9,8,7 because they are far more expensive unless you're confined to playing classic rock, blues or jazz. The regular custom black beauty is going these days for about $5000. Pretty reasonable considering today's prices. Good luck and rock on 🤘🏻
I really think you have Epiphone misunderstood these days, they’re high quality fantastic guitars. I have both Gibson LP Standard and Epi and they feel, sound and play identical
I’ve played Epiphone Les Paul and Gibson Les Paul and if I’m being honest the Epiphone feels cheap and it doesn’t feel like I’m holding quality it feels like I’m holding plastic but with a Gibson Les Paul standard it feels like I’m holding high quality
The L P standard should be what it says, but hold on we can make you a better one , a custom shop, but we can make it even better , a Murphy lab, add some ageing and we can charge even more , if we keep going we will be able to replicate a real 59 burst , which should have been what the standard should have been in the first place.
@irageguitars Maybe some of them stay in tune but definitely not worth anything over 5k. I think I saw one in there for 15k. It's just a guitar. Just like no candy bar should cost 100 bucks. When you go over a certain price you're just adding gold on the steak.

Save up for the R9 Custom Shop.

They have a black Beaty I can rent for 300$ month custom shop
Just purchased a new Tokai Japan sg. I have gibsons and I’ve have tokais before. This sg outplays them all. This Tokai was 1200 usd.
Tokai’s are great guitars!
Plenty of good used Gibson Les Paul Customs available in Quebec. Grab an R9 for $6k
I’m looking online don’t see any for now
SG ALL DAY ALL NIGHT !
For me it’s the Les Paul Custom / fuck the Murphy aging tho. Pay 10 grand for the 5A 1pc quilted top instead.
wait until April. The custom shop is what you really want.

Diminishing returns. Get the normal one and enjoy! Pretty sure 99% couldn't tell the tonal difference between the 2.
I'd definitely take a Gibson Firebird! 2:38
I never was into the firebird but I’ll stop by the store and check it out. Thank you for your feedback:)
Custom shop! R9
Maybe you can buy me a Gibson instead of a epiphone
Buy a Harley Benton and put a sticker over the name. Only you will ever know it's not a murphy lab
p90 gold top !!!!!!lol
Don’t buy from long and mcquade. Buy from sellers in the US, got a brand new Murphy lab R0 for 8,500 landed. $15k? Get bent long and mcchode
Save up for the custom shop - you'll have a more interesting story to tell for your channel.

Unless you’re a rockstar, stick with your basic Gibson , only a fool would spend $15000 on a guitar !

Most of those guitars are overpriced and probably don't stay in tune.
