It goes with the mere exposure effect where you like someone just because they are familiar or they are similar to you. Humans are just like that. But in the future, we will realize that cultures can be shared. It's just sad now I see lots of cases of interracial marriage where one parent's culture has to dominate, no compromise. So far, my dad said how a man from our country married a German. Instead of any bit of our culture in the marriage, the woman wants only German culture and the kids aren't allowed to call him father in his OWN native language...Only German. Just sad.

One point made me laugh from the heart: "I was afraid that he wouldn't like Asian cousine..." I'm caucasian and I LOOOVE Asian cousine... and I actually was worried if my next boyfriend wouldn't like it, how are we going work out if not?? xD It's just silly how these small things actually can be "big". Now I'm in a relationship and, as a couple, we made so many Asian dishes at home, looking for authentic ingredients, searching for restaurants with authentic Asian food :)
Does anyone else get the feeling that she really isn't ok when the camera is off? Even though she claims to be at peace. Just by the inflections in her speech, it didn't sound 100% genuine. I don't think anyone would feel ok that quickly after a life changing event. Not saying that I want her to not be ok, but it's ok to say that she's not ok. Or just not answer that assumption at all in the video.
I don't know you, but so far you are showing some signs of high emotional intelligence. Not everyone has a gift in being able to read people or catch certain nuances in people's speech or body language.

When I was going through my divorce (and once I finally was able to see pass the pain) I felt a lot of relief and that the pressure and stress lifted. It seems like you have that same feeling too. It makes me happy for you and happy for myself as well because I see that I'm changing in many of the ways you've changed too, so I know I'm on the right track. As a person who has been watching bubz ever since I was 10 years old? I have witnessed so many things until she gave birth. I’m 21 now and discovering that tim and her had separated was really a shock for me. It’s must have been really heartbreaking for her. But this is no pity party. Everything happens for a reason and I know one day she will be happier than ever.

As someone who is a "essential worker" and am so jealous of people in quarantine. I was built for isolation and I wish I could be in the quarantine but of course with paid and no kids.
Be careful what you wish for. I was in the hotel industry when it was super busy and I said to myself, " I hate working I wish I didn't have to work!!" before the virus got serious. So quick the work stopped and now I've been out of work for a month searching and searching for anything. I'm down to only $1000 in my account, have rent to pay, my phone bill and my essentials and of course it's not going to last. Be grateful for being an essential worker. I wish I was in a position where the industry I was in was essential and being able to pay bills, ect. Being locked in is terrible.
I just don’t understand how people are commenting about how Lindy and Tim were a perfect couple. For me it was kind of obvious that the separation was coming, he wasn’t home a lot, she complained a lot on Instagram and lots more. When she was giving couple advice she always told us that it’s normal to fight a lot and stop talking to each other, and then she blocked people who disagreed, that was when I unsubscribed. I’m glad she’s working on herself, I’m ready to see her grow.

You do know she selects the questions to answer right? So if she didn't want to talk about certain topics, she wouldn't have included them.
Hi bubz! I just wanted to say I've been watching you for a loooong time and you've inspired me so much. When I was in middle school, I remember not having any friends and feeling really depressed/invisible. When I got home from school, I'd hop into bed and escape in your vlogs. Slowly but surely your positive outlook on life started rubbing off on me. I started cooking rather than eating out, I tried to do more exercising, started painting again, and most importantly, started appreciating the little things. Thank you for being my big sister. One point made me laugh from the heart: "I was afraid that he wouldn't like Asian cousine..." I'm caucasian and I LOOOVE Asian cousine... and I actually was worried if my next boyfriend wouldn't like it, how are we going work out if not?? xD It's just silly how these small things actually can be "big". Now I'm in a relationship and, as a couple, we made so many Asian dishes at home, looking for authentic ingredients, searching for restaurants with authentic Asian food :)

Does anyone else get the feeling that she really isn't ok when the camera is off? Even though she claims to be at peace. Just by the inflections in her speech, it didn't sound 100% genuine. I don't think anyone would feel ok that quickly after a life changing event. Not saying that I want her to not be ok, but it's ok to say that she's not ok. Or just not answer that assumption at all in the video.

It's been 5 years since i last visit bubz, the focus of the video has shift towards the kids since. Always missed the old bubbly bubz who stays true to herself. Glad that im seeing part of the old bubz coming back, a new, stronger and bubbly bubz.
I'm with you on the jeans! The thing is I end up wearing them a lot more because I feel like with jeans you can wear the same pair again and again but with skirts and such you'd have to have many more because people notice it more, you know what I mean? I just hate jeans they're so uncomfortable!
I’ve been following you since your days in your old room with the big, red posies on the wall. You seem a little happier now. When I was going through my divorce (and once I finally was able to see pass the pain) I felt a lot of relief and that the pressure and stress lifted. It seems like you have that same feeling too. Life gets hard sometimes but I love your attitude, I love how you try and make the best of it (that's my interpretation of course..).
It's a pleasure to see you grow and blossom more each day. It makes me happy for you and happy for myself as well because I see that I'm changing in many of the ways you've changed too, so I know I'm on the right track. (We all are:)
I am also truly beginning to understand why many women say that your thirties & forties and beyond are much happier years than one's twenties.. because while I'm glad I got through them, looking back on it now, I have to say.. it's been a hard and confusing time! Not just happy and carefree as some people make it out to be. But now (almost 30) although I have more wrinkles and weigh a few kilos more, I'm starting to feel much more confident in my own skin and I care less about what others think of me.. so that's a plus 🙂❤️

As a person who has been watching bubz ever since I was 10 years old? I have witnessed so many things until she gave birth. I’m 21 now and discovering that tim and her had separated was really a shock for me. It’s must have been really heartbreaking for her. But this is no pity party. Everything happens for a reason and I know one day she will be happier than ever.

As someone who is a "essential worker" and am so jealous of people in quarantine. I was built for isolation and I wish I could be in the quarantine but of course with paid and no kids.
Be careful what you wish for. I was in the hotel industry when it was super busy and I said to myself, " I hate working I wish I didn't have to work!!" before the virus got serious. So quick the work stopped and now I've been out of work for a month searching and searching for anything. I'm down to only $1000 in my account, have rent to pay, my phone bill and my essentials and of course it's not going to last. Be grateful for being an essential worker. I wish I was in a position where the industry I was in was essential and being able to pay bills, ect. Being locked in is terrible.
I just don’t understand how people are commenting about how Lindy and Tim were a perfect couple. For me it was kind of obvious that the separation was coming, he wasn’t home a lot, she complained a lot on Instagram and lots more. When she was giving couple advice she always told us that it’s normal to fight a lot and stop talking to each other, and then she blocked people who disagreed, that was when I unsubscribed. I’m glad she’s working on herself, I’m ready to see her grow.
