It's hard when you do approach in s healthy way but they don't reciprocate that way.
....If they were honest they'd simply tell you from the jump that they're completely unable to be in a serious committed relationship.
Yet they tend to be the most critical of all!
Not to mention, wanting sympathy and understanding from you, while making you out to be the villain in their head and to others for being emotionally neglected. 😢

The only way to win with a DA is to chose not to play the way to win the game.
It’s not about “winning.” It’s about showing up and caring for the other person, helping to meet their needs if you can, without harm to yourself.
Most people thrive in chaos, so showing up healthy isn't even in the cards... Unfortunately I'm seeing it more and more these days.
Its actually scary how toxicity is almost made out to be normal.
