Oh man that was a great test. I was pleasantly surprised when I chose 3 switches for both tests and they were the same choices. Tangies, Ink Black, and surprisingly the Creams.
I have to say that the creams sounded (at least in this comparison) like one of the higher pitches between these switches. My favorites here, sound wise, must be the ink blacks and tangeringes. However, I've used broken in and lubed creams together with both SA and Cherry profile high quality caps and they sound really good, they're also really smooth for its price once broken in. But inks are much more smooth, especially since it doesn't require being broken in.
Awesome video!! I absolutely loved the blind sound test. Really helps you shake off the bias you build up after reading other people's opinions of switches while also confirming which sound you really like.
I like how you did the sound test mate. Solidified my choice of either Gat inks. Also didn't know I liked Cherry Blacks. Chose those 2 on both of your sound tests.

Question: i have a keychron k6, planning to get the hkgaming cherry profile keycaps to use on my black inks. Is it true that the interference on cherry profile with k6 sucks? Is it really that noticeable?
Yeah it’s the south vs north facing problem. It’s mainly the asdf row that suffers from the interference. It sounds a bit mushy compared to other rows due to interference. If you don’t care too much about sound, I don’t think it will matter too much
