discovered your channel like 3 days ago and i was like "wow these boards sound good, but i just wanna look, im fine not buying one!" and here i am on my computer with 80 billion tabs open trying to buy kits to build with lavenders...
Man I used to believe that the Tealios $1 per switch weren't worth it in comparison to cheaper alternatives. But damn the L+F comparison really shows how they shine compared to the rest. At least for me.
I personally enjoyed all of the jwk linears more, but honestly most linears sound really similar after using 205g0. personal preference at the end of the day
Hi i am making a 67 lite build and I am stuck between 2 switches the Thic Thock Marshmallows and the C3 Banana Splits i like both and i cant choose please help
veProblem is they're a bit inconsitent in smoothness, you can also hear more scratchiness for some reason. It's hard for meto put faith in this test because in this board Tealios doesn't have the usual higher pitch sound
Now... you might be a troll and all, but THIS is what I call thorough side by side comparison. The man literally made spectrums of smoothness and sound for us fiends. You sir, deserve a thank you. Just when I think I'm in too deep, there you are like a dancer on quicksand
Sheesh the time stamps, this is why I love and support you, the effort you put in video reviews is just so helpful you're a madlad thank you for this video!
I love the sound of the lavenders! Though someone in the comments suggested Alpacas instead b/c they’re smoother. I’ve also heard Mauves are comparable. I’m looking for a deep-pitched/thocky, buttery smooth sound. I have no idea what the difference would be between smoothness/feel of Lavender vs. Alpacas vs Mauves. Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions? If I get Lavenders should I lube them?
Idk if u read old comments but the journey has begun, after solid review and “intense research” at 4am I think I’m going linear! Oh yeah these vids and reviews are insane they help soooooo much

Can’t thank you enough for doing a sound test comparison properly unlike 99% of what you see on RUclips. You are doing the Lord’s work here, my friend. Keep it up
Previously i bought creams cuz of the hype but i quickly realised how scratchy they are, even after breaking them in stock. Wish i had seen a video like this before making my purchase decision as I don't have so much money to try all the switches for myself. Thanks for the great vid!
Imo my favorite linear switches are: POM Durocks Lavenders Blue Velvet PME - Linear (better than black inks imo) Alpacas V2/Durock Linears AKKO Matcha Green (budget linears $0.22/switch similar to Milky Yellows but deeper) KTT Rose (also budget linears at $0.27) Tangerines Banana Splits (unique sound) Aqua Kings (still need to try them but they sound great) Silent Linear: Gazzew Bobagum Silent Alpacas/Durock Silent Linears
How loud are the soundtests? Cause they are soo loud. And I donot belive that it is original. Can someone tell me the multiplayer? (Is this even english? Sry i am german...)
Why do people like mx style switches so much? (I mean, I get it’s personal preference and all) But there’s very little stuff that is actually different from the cherry design...
Thanks for making this video, I've been trying to find a big Linear switch comparison video because I didn't know what ones to choose (P.S. I'm new to building keyboards.) Edit: I decided to go with the Tangerines
Holyyy, thank you so much I was looking for videos like thesee Can I ask you for maybe like a top 5? I'm planning on getting either tangerines, alpacas or banana split switches, If you can can you give me a ranking between these 3 switches from like best to worst? I'd really appreciate it because I'm an indecisive person in need of help deciding which to go for. Thank you. Great video.
I don't like ranking stuff in general, since it's a preference on what you like. But out of those three, personally, I like the banana splits the best, then alpacas and the tangerines slightly less than the others, as the sound is higher pitched than the others due to the UHMWPE housing. If you want a clackier switch tho, tangies might be the right choice for you.
I do have to say after using my unlubed Creams(a sinful experiment I know) for 6 months, they became much smoother over time, to the point of a very noticeable difference between keys like the WASD cluster(crisply smooth) and the 9, 0, O and navigation keys(still a bit crunchy), where I began to prefer them over my Tartarus Pro switches. Filming them also affected the key feel quite positively, oddly enough. Will make some switch/board reviews when i have a clean and proper setup.
The switches i liked most are POM durocks, zealios v2, creampacas, and inks with uhwphwpwwp stems but :))) I dont have money and must buy gateron Milky yellow xddddddddddddd
Does anyone know which of these switches would be the best typing-gaming middle ground? I play a lot of valorant but I also type a lot with my keyboard and I don’t really know which of these switches is best for that
Those lavenders sound nice. But fuck you for coming for NK Creams. They are my first switches, and im happy with them. But i feel the scratchiness now that you mention it.
