  • No Man's Sky has a vibe about space travel that I have not experienced, I've been playing for more than 2 hours and I can confidently say that I have not played a better game that has such a nice space exploration, I really recommend playing it, it is now on a very large discount on steam until July 29, so this is a great opportunity to play it

I only played it a little cuz I’ve been invested in other games, but the feeling of taking off from the planet for the first time was pure magic

Games Honestly great for the first few days, or weeks depending on how slowly you progress, but soon you realize that once you have seen one of each planet type, you have seen them all
from there on it gets pretty boring pretty fast!

It's like this with every game. When you see all a game has to offer it gets boring.

You're wrong on the boring part tho. Visually it might get boring, but mechanically it's still interesting since there's so much to do. Spent 200 hours and the majority of that time was spent on building my dream bases.

@@Rishi-nc1mn different strokes for different folks. some people like being handheld and guided through a game through continuous quests and side quests. some love being in a sandboxy environment where they could do whatever they want. some prefer mindless grinding. some prefer a great story. some wants a combinations of these. others just want to experience something completely new in the first 30 minutes of every game they play.

@@zigrakudo4092 the guy is right though. The planets have little unique selling points. Random is meaningless inherently. It would be good if there was meaning baked into the randomness like the ancient worms. But they are abundant. And when something is abundant it loses its value. If 1 in 100 ice worlds had a gargantuan beast would you not be encouraged to explore more? You can retain sandbox and still create meaning. They dont know how to do it. They put it slow and painful missions like derelict freighters completely exploration independent. Or settlements that after a while have zero expansiveness. The culture of the game is 'keep moving'. You're not encouraged to settle anywhere. Drop in and out like the expeditions.

Until you understand that its just a fucking soup of the same thing repeating over and over.

some people prefer the same soup everyday, with some slight twists. maybe a bit more salt one day. some basil on the next. or maybe a little bit of chili.
