It’s a crime this game was never given a new game plus, have to delete the save data just to enjoy it again
You can also make an alt acc to restart if you dont want to delete your progress on your main account
@Robert Phillips New game plus has been a thing since at least 1995 with Chrono Trigger, and plenty of games over the years have had some variety of new game plus. I don’t get why you’d say that new game plus was basically unheard of in 2014 - did you think that The Witcher 3 was the first big title to have it?

@@codeluoni No, once the consoles get released, it's current gen, as the name suggest. They are not "next", they are "here". Next (meaning "future;, something that comes "next") gen now will be PS6 and XBOXSX2. That's not really that hard of a concept, is it?

This game really makes you feel like flesh automaton, controlled by neurotransmitters
Honestly just adding save slots was worth it, from what I remember multiplayer doesn't even work

I have 100%ed this game twice and beat it like 4 times. Its one of the most fun and energetic games ever. It just has so much style. Fun characters, fun quests, a cook story, fast and fun gameplay. Wish it had a sequel
This is such a fun game, the mission exclusive weapons were so fun, characters were perfectly stereotypical, and the bosses were over the top stupid

This game was definitely underrated and deserved a sequel for sure. I remember when this came out and I had gotten it day one and was telling everyone I knew how awesome it was but nobody seemed to believe it. It should have done much better.
I say it on every S.O video but having sunset tv on youtube with brandon as the host being broadcast in game on TV’s in different areas to give background info on the game/a voting system on new outfits to be released/ a continuing story skit etc was genius.
They went so far with it that he ended up being the final boss in the last DLC, the game never got the praise it deserved and now it will most likely never get a sequel.
The easter eggs and references where brilliant and it constantly mocked everything.
This game was truly, a work of pure art.

I played this so much when I was younger. I got to the final mission. About 3 or 4 years later I reinstalled and completed that final level. It was such a good game.

I think Sunset Overdrive is like Saint's Row, Dead Rising, and Left 4 Dead had a threeway and out came this bastard child of the three. It takes the creative weapon concepts from Dead Rising, the open world and humor from SR4, and the Infected from Left 4 Dead. It's such an interesting blend and I love it so.

Great game, parady of a parody, cool music and batshit crazy stuff.
Also only Open world game where i used fast travel only once... and you sudenly apear in biotoilet after hangover in needed spot.
Had 0 expectations before playing, turned out to be one of the best single-player expirience i ever had.

Is it weird that I haven't heard of this game since it was mentioned around E3 (whatever that year was)? It's like it dropped off the face of the Earth until this crazy Canadian resurrected its corpse. Worth it.
Sadly there probably won’t be a Sunset Overdrive 2, since Sony acquired Insomniac. But Microsoft and Sony have recently started working together, so hopefully they can collaborate

I pre-ordered this game way back, and bought the dlc’s on Xbox One.
When I played I would throw down the distraction weapon, then shoot an acid sprinkler on top of it. The distraction lured in all enemies but only did good damage to robots, but the acid sprinkler did good damage against monsters and humans
Just recently played this for the first time and did everything the achievements. It's a blast!
Very underated game, one of my go-to's that i keep installed on my xbox, its basically jet set radio meets l4d

i honestly think the humor just grated on people's nerves and they took it seriously for some odd reason. this is what watch dogs legion was going for to me only watch dogs legion tries to be serious as well as goofy due to how different watch dogs 1 and 2 are from each other. if they just laughed at the dumb jokes and didnt take it seriously its a fun game to fuck around in but reviewers cant seem to do that.
Somehow this game gives me the same vibes that Lollipop Chainsaw gave me

The traversal in this game was so much fun. Never used the fast travel. I can definitely see this Ip coming back as a battle royale. The crazy weapons plus the awesome movement would make it pretty fun.

Not only is this developed by the same studio as Spider-Man, but the male player also has the same voice actor as Spider-Man.
Wow what a crazy game, It reminds me of Borderlands with the stylized npc intros, it was sure entertaining to watch you play it but I wouldn't play it.

Uhh mate Insomniac Games asked Microsoft for years to approve a sequel even going so far as to outline how they would improve upon it while requiring less development time as well, they were outright rejected for years on end every time they asked

I remember seeing an article about this game and wanting it so bad but never had the chance to play it
Yeah I won't ever get into the new style of sounding panicked and screaming at the mic for 3 hours to get 16 minutes of completely over-edited footage that is as aimless as a drunk crackhead having fever dreams during their first few nights of rehab.
