Your answers to the last question meant so much to me. I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant with my first baby. My body looks completely different than it did 9 months ago. I have a ton of stretch marks and at first it was very hard for me to come to terms with them. The older women in my family have always been ashamed of their own marks. They even told me earlier in my pregnancy when they saw me in a swim suit that I was “blessed to not have any.” Fast forward just a few weeks and now I’m covered. But I now wear them with pride knowing that the growth of my belly and the marks that come with that is evidence that God is sustaining and growing my precious child.

Being a mama and truly seeking the Lord in the raising of our precious children is the greatest work we can ever do because we are honoring the Lord in serving others and impacting a life or several lives for eternity! Instead of focusing on ourselves and our body we need to focus on how we can please the Lord and bless others! From a Mama who is pregnant with our 10th baby💕🙏
Aw yes I can relate to this so much! I’m 35 weeks and thought I wasn’t going to get any but then I hit 25ish weeks. It’s amazing to see how my husband still loves my body despite all my stretch marks. I just remind myself that our little girl is so worth it 💕

I think for us girls I speak mostly for myself. The questioning is not because we don’t trust, but it’s because we want to be included and aware of what’s going on. You hear so many stories of woman whose husbands keep telling them they know what they’re doing an have things under control and then when things spiral, they’re not the only ones paying the price for it but now it’s the previously oblivious spouse stuck with the mess too cause she had to just trust and not question too much.
Props to you for answering these questions! I'm surprised and also not surprised that so many were on the physical side of things. Really learnt a lot from you guys🙌🏻

That question about body image really hit me hard. My main hobby is golf, and all my friends are better than me and I've had issues with feeling lesser than them because I can't spend the time or money to get the newest clubs and lessons all the time.
The Romans had a saying; "Oculi ducunt in amorem." "The eyes lead in love." It IS looks that attract us to one another (and everyone likes a different kind of "look," so don't assume anything). After that, unless you are an incredibly shallow person, it's the whole package that keeps us interested in each other -- looks, intelligence, wit, behavior, the whole nine yards. If you stop and think about it, everyone of us under the sun does it exactly the same way, regardless of being a man or a woman! There's a difference between "confidence" and "arrogance," by the way. 🙂

My experience it's been like a month after talking constantly or so that all the sudden the guys head over heels for me and in love and is ready to move in and get married when all I've done was opened up with my confidence in myself and I care about others around me and I always make it loud and clear to them it starts with a friendship not friends with benefits and sex isn't the first thing on my mind ever I never want to rush anything anymore because nothing has worked in the past so my mentality is if I'm single forever so be it as long as I'm happy with myself and love myself that's all I need as a 42yr old wheelchair bound woman who's been threw all the bad stuff sexual physical emotional abuse I've been called everything under the sun because they wanted me to feel worse than them and it worked for a short time but I'm way stronger now.
