I have a question with something I am struggeling with. I find myself in strong times of trouble I praise the lord and pray mornings and nights, but once the trouble is resoleved I go back to my normal life and never go to God daily as I used to be. My question is, how can I be able to love God so I would love to share with him his blessings & joy? What normally people do in the time of ease to worship The Lord? I only know that I can thank him but what else? Currently got hit by a bad illness, I want to ask him to heal me because The illness is risking me to risk my job , but I am afraid to ask because he knows I am nit faitfull and even if I am I know he is mercifull and he can heal me even that but the problem is I dont want him to heal me then I go away and forget about him. Lastly, should I keep the same effort of sleepless nights asking for deliverence in times of struggle and also in times of ease?.I would love if it is possible to directe me to ressources or any advice to build this love and be with him in ease and hardship.
My midwife taught me how not to tear. She said stay as relaxed as possible during contractions and if you have to moan do it in a low sound rather than yell because when you go high you tighten everything and it later more likely to rip. That defently helped me. Haven’t torn with three kids yet. Lord willing this next one I won’t tear either
Wow that's so crazy how the body reacts to fear during labour differently than when you're at peace in your heart. You have both painted such a beautiful picture of how God designed pregnancy!
God does has a wonderful design for our bodies in pregnancy, but just be careful in believing what was described because it is not actually backed scientifically -from a friendly OBGYN
Yeah I'm a guy and wasn't really sure why I was watching this video but I'm glad I did because this is stuff I can steal speak to women as advice before going into labor now.
Love this so much. I’m a birth doula and have also had unmedicated births with my three babies, and I completely agree that birth is such a mental thing. God showed me His strength in such a fresh way in my births because I saw how incredibly miraculous he made women’s bodies to bring forth life. I also relied on the Lord’s strength in a new way I hadn’t before in labor because it was a moment by moment reliance on Him that I needed. And yes, I agree that the more relaxed and at peace your body and mind are, the much easier labor is. You’ve got this, Tori and I’m so excited for you planning a home birth!
Ladies, I love watching this video… mainly, I’m a young 24 year old woman. My Mom passed away when I was 5 from breast cancer and although, my beloved Grandma was so influential and loving and incredible it had been quite some time since this subject matter! I feel like you two are guiding lights and older sisters/motherly figures I’ve missed out on! 🥺❤️
Don't know who I would have asked these questions to😂 so thank you so much! Starting to feel so peaceful about birth so many years in advance is a huge blessing!
Milena, I completely understand that mental waiting game when it comes to baby’s timing. For some reason I had this idea in my head that my baby would come early around 38 weeks, but then 39 weeks came, 40, and finally induced at 41. I felt like I was going crazy every single day those last couple weeks that felt like an absolute eternity. I had to pray for patience every. single. day and it was still so so challenging. I think there is just so much anticipation and excitement knowing what is to come, that it makes it feel almost impossible to WAIT! Anyone going through this, I get it.. I really really do. Baby will be here soo soon and they’ll completely be worth all the waiting !
Milena is full of excellent education, experience, wisdom, warmth, cheer, & truth spoken in love in this subject! Tori, you are the most grateful & glowing pregnant woman I’ve ever seen! You have an amazing circle! 🙌🏽 Blessed friendship & fellowship is underrated! Thank you for this Q.&A. ~Can hardly believe either of you are handling as you are! Amazing women; God’s amazing treasures, the two of you ARE! 💖💖
Well that was educational! Even for me as a guy. Appreciate the vulnerability and willingness to talk openly about topics like these! Also the description is so good!
I wish I could sit in on your conversations every day 😭😭 I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow with my first, and I soooo enjoy listening to your Christian perspectives on labor and birth because there is so much information out there and I don't even know who or what to believe... but Milena has gone thru it 3 times and Tori is so much wiser than I am lol 😂😅 so I feel like they are solid choices for info. 🤣❤❤❤ Keep these coming please!!!
So exciting to see you two do this collaboration!!! 🤍 Especially since you are both mamas now!!! Love this fun video idea and I can’t wait to find out some new things about being a mother! Thank you for being vulnerable and inspiring! 🤗 Love you two so much!!!
Loved this! Everything was super confirming. ❤️ I’m at 25 weeks pregnant with my first and also been doing the faith filled childbirth course as well. AND also planning a homebirth with a midwife😅 i can’t agree more about the hospitals. I was seeing an OB until recently and would even come home and just feel anxious and off. Where as with my midwife (she talks a lot haha) but she gives all the time I need. I was also encouraged to hear that Melina went 42 weeks and allowing baby to come when she was ready. Most doctors pretty much tell you they HAVE to induce by 42 weeks at the absolute latest. Thanks for doing this! Exciting to see other mommas trusting the natural birth process. 😊
I’m a nurse & I didn’t know that about the blood flow!! Very very interesting! I’m hoping to go into L & D nursing one day. Love how God created our bodies!!
Thank you for this video. I’ve always said I don’t want kids and I think part of that is because I don’t want the physical changes that happen and definitely don’t want the negative mental things (depression, anxiety, etc.) It’s nice to hear raw answers. Appreciate this video despite not being pregnant ✨
Loved this whole conversation, being pregnant myself it’s so encouraging to hear other moms/soon to be moms speak so positively about pregnancy and birth.
So excited for you guys over this miracle! I can relate to your story, between horrible stomach pain, period pain/issues, chronic pain/fatigue, etc. It definitely prepares for pain in labour in some ways, and yes labour you are blessed with a reward of a precious child, where as flare ups it feels defeating. We had a miracle baby a year and a half ago (was told I wouldn’t get pregnant without help and struggled with infertility for years) but clearly they don’t know how powerful our God is! Now expecting baby #2 in September, so it’s fun to be pregnant at the same time ☺️
My due date was 11/12/21 and my first baby boy was born on 11/9! Ugh, you think you couldn’t love your baby more when you’re pregnant, but now he’s 9 months and I swear I feel like I could explode from love! Wishing you the best ❤️
This video helped me so much, thank you ladies 🥰💗! I'm 33 weeks today, and getting anxious to see my baby girl. This is my second child but my husband's first. And my in-laws are being super pushy so we prepared her so you're right, we come first. Thanks for all the tips and advice. My son is 21 and I'm 38 and my husband is 39. We've been together 17 years so we are super blessed to have this child come into our life. So glad God gave us her ❤️!
What an iconic collab, love to see you both mamas glowing and so happy chatting about something so beautiful! Definitely makes me excited for my fuuture future future babies❤️😭
Yes!!! I am pregnant with my 3rd baby. I have never been prepared for labor and delivery and so this time I have been doing a lot of studying about our bodies and how they are built to birth! I have been binge watching Bridget Teyler on RUclips.
It totally depends upon pain tolerance, but I grew up having horrible period cramps, to the point they’d make me throw up (until after having babies because now my periods are a lot more bearable thank God!); those cramps totally helped prepare me deal with labor pains. I’ve also grown up with terrible migraines; not that that pain is in the same vicinity, but it means I’ve dealt with pretty unbearable and constant pain sometimes for days on end. I have had two unmedicated births, and am about to go for a third when my baby decides to arrive lol. So it’s totally possible that all your stomach issues, bad menstrual cramps, etc, will make you more prepared for the pains of birth. If people haven’t dealt with those things then they honestly wouldn’t understand how it actually can compare or prepare you mentally for the pain of child birth. The pain of labor has never scared me, especially since going through two births now feeling like the pain was very bearable up until transition, when baby is literally about to be born and then the pain is over. I found my post labor cramps from my uterus shrinking after my second worse than the contractions during labor 😂
Thank you for this video. I’ve always said I don’t want kids and I think part of that is because I don’t want the physical changes that happen and definitely don’t want the negative mental things (depression, anxiety, etc.) It’s nice to hear raw answers. This is my favourite video of all time! You are the YT collab I never knew I needed. I felt like I was sitting with my girl friends the whole time 🥰. Especially loved listening to you talk about how the world has made us women so fearful of birth. It's so true! I hope you get your peaceful home birth, Tori ❤
Yesss the video we were all waiting for! Thank you for being so encouraging and always speaking God’s truth. You both are such amazing women and inspire me in so many ways 🤎
Hi everyone, please pray for me and my family. My mum is having heart valve replacement surgery on Monday and I am really, really scared and worried about it. Please please PLEASE pray that she will be okay and that it will all go smoothly. Thank you. ❤
Really good point! Birth is just one day. Loving your children and teaching them is a 20 year project, and that's not talked about even a fraction of all the sex talk. Bringing up children is the important thing in a loving home with respect toward children. Children will give you what you give them first, such as respect.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ yes! I love the realness and I know so many new soon to be mamas and even I as a mama I feel encouraged and excited to see this type of videos! Thank you so much for sharing the wisdom and excitement of giving birth!
wow just discovered your channel and wow i am so impressed with the fact that y’all are so religious and that’s so nice and helpfully i am only 19 but i really can’t wait to have kids in the future 💕💕
I’ve heard some mama’s wanting a break so bad that when someone asked if they could hold their baby, they were like YES please, my arms need a break. It’s good to just honestly ask each person what THEY prefer:)
This was so encouraging. My fiancé and I definitely want kids but I’ve always had a fear of pregnancy and childbirth after my mom almost died from having my brother. I just need to trust in the Lord to protect me and keep me calm through it all 🙏🏼
Praying for you that God will give you joy and peace when your time comes 'May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit' Romans 15:13
Omg… I am 37 weeks pregnant rn.. and I know EXACTLY what you’re talking about with the stomachaches growing up. This is why I’m chillin going through a natural birth path as well 😂 I was lactose intolerant and my mom refused to believe it, so I spend nights on the toilet (at least weekly) having a quiver/pray/sweat sesh!
I had endometriosis, and I gave birth. Birth was less painful that my period. I had breaks all the time when in labor, where I was fine. Never had those during periods. I threw up from pain during periods. Didn't throw up during labor. Passed out during my periods, not during birth. Was completely well after birth. After periods I'd feel like someone run me over. Sometimes birth is not the worst pain.
This gives me hope. I have endo, I often think if my periods are this horrible, I wont survive birth, but maybe birth will actually be comparable rather than worse.
This was so good! it’s been so fun learning from you guys (& Jess) in your time of pregnancy and birth so thank you for sharing those moments with us and for educating us too 🥰
Even if you have all the normal things epidural, etc. I highly suggest watching Leslie Burris's home birth! Yes, going in with peace vs. fear!! She just launched a birth class as well. So cool you're doing a home birth!
I was the 1st of my friends to get pregnant and I have 5 brothers... no sisters. So... other than my Mom it was hard finding someone to talk to about these issues. My oldest brother and his wife had their 2nd son about 4 months before I was due. It was so nice to be able to talk to her about all of this! My son just turned 39 so the internet wasn't really a thing yet. I did have to have an emergency section... which was kind of sad. He was just too big for me. 9lbs 10oz and 23" long! 3 weeks overdue! My next pregnancy was twins... had them at 38 weeks. Both were perfect. 5.15 and 6.15. It was nice to see 2 girlfriends sit and chat together!
Loved this! I had three home water births and it was the greatest thing ever. So happy for you to do a home birth! I hope everything goes smoothly and safely for you!
Not sure if anyones mentioned this but Tori, the pain you’ve experienced that you’re describing sound like flare ups which very much feel like contractions as well! 😞 That pain is not normal even if doctors say it is. I have Endometriosis and know this exact feeling and experience many other symptoms as well. Praying you don’t have it but I would definitely look up the symptoms for it and if you feel you have it, meet with an Endometriosis specialist after you have baby boy! 💛 Feel free to ask me any questions!!!
I have been loving to watch this type pf content right now, that I'm pregnant too! I'm only a month behind Tori, so see this things actually tells me what should I expect next!
I absolutely loved this vid guys!! And I even loved it more cause Milena was in it, this was really interesting and Tori speaking about birth and the labor process really gave me a new perspective on what the body is capable of, and how our muscles are designed to do all of this, it’s amazing! Anyways, I’m nowhere near pregnancy (I’m 17 hehe) but I absolutely loved this and love you guys! 💛 Will be praying for a safe and peaceful birth Tori ☺️
Oh that's cool to see you together. I am new to both of your channels. It's funny to see you both in the same video :) We need the same with the dudes next! Could be about pregnancy too or anything they want to talk about really. God bless you!
Ring of fire can totally still happen even if you don’t tear. I had no ring of fire with my first but had fourth degree tearing. With my second I had major ring of fire and zero tearing. The difference was actually the pace at which I was pushing. Both came out in the same time, which was 30 minutes or so, but with my second the midwife said we would push at my pace, whereas with my first even though I felt everything they were still kind of telling me when to push and for how long, and it all felt a little rushed for no reason. Both births I had no epidural or pain medication, so I felt everything.
Your description of your 1st and 2nd birth wads almost exactly the same experiences I had with my 1st and 2nd! My first, I didn't take my time, no ring of fire, and major tearing upward. My second, I took my time, major ring of fire, no tearing (did have a couple stitches for some stretched and oozy skin).
Apparently getting an epidural can contribute to tearing because you have less control over your muscles and sometimes you exhaust the them and the tissue down there.
Omg I absolutely loved this video! At 12:12 when tori starts talking opened my mind out so much and I was like wow never saw things that way! Thank you for making these videos cause I really want to have my 3rd baby natural
I think it’s more do I want to feel this pain than if I can do it or not. I’m pregnant again for third time and yes I know I can do it but I don’t want to give birth again. It definitely not a fun easy time. Yes women are meant to give birth but animals in the wild are different than humans and they have no choice but to do it without any comforts of life.
I'm sorry but the comment your friend made about you looking pregnant without seeing your belly is so condescending, and I think she made a etiquette video for when you are pregnant or freshly postpartum how you should avoid comments like that to new moms or a mom who just had a baby Very rude
“Sounds like a Thursday” LOL hmm ok. As a mom of three who’s labors last 30+ hours each. I think that someone should remind you of what you said when you’re in labor and see what you think then 😂🤪
This was so educational!! Thank you 🤍 I do have a question though. How do you choose a midwife/midwives? There are so many out there. Did you meet with multiple and choose the one you had the best connection with?
Good for you for having a home birth for your first baby! I wish I did it with my first. I did it with my second and it was beautiful. Praying for a healthy pregnancy and safe delivery!
I'm curious how your contractions were in labor now looking back on this video? I've always had horrible period cramping so when people describe labor that way, I'm not as nervous because I'm just use to it. Would you say it was even worse than your already bad cramps?
Wait 6 weeks even if you feel great because your uterus is still healing and you basically have a big wound from your placenta. Heard it from a doctor ;)
I took that course you're talking about! I loved it too! & just had a wonderful first homebirth 2 weeks ago 💕 For anyone wondering what course she was talking about it is called pain free birth by karen Walton 😃 It tremendously helped change my mindset about birth and gave me the confidence to have a homebirth. My first baby I had in the hospital with a epidural.
It's so cute seeing a first time mama talk ab what they think labor will be like lol. I LOVE the positive mindset but you don't know till you know 😂😭 bless your soul girl. You're gonna do great!
I really like you guys, but your use of sex to get views reminds me of being of the world rather than set apart from. I'm trying to say this out of love, rather than judgement as we are all imperfect. But sex, as it was designed by God, should be held on a pedestal rather than used as a buzz word. I ask that you consider this going forward!
Sex is stigmatised in the Christian community to the point women are scared and terrified of what to expect. I believe these two women are dismantling that fear by normalising talking to it. Your husband won’t know how to advise you or relate to you if you have pelvic pain, dryness, etc. That’s where you need your girlfriends. Unfortunately a lot of the Christian community still hush sex to the point that these girls could be other women’s only help on topics like these. I ask you to keep an open mind and understand that perhaps your generation may have different expectations to this generation. Hugs ❤️
@@evaneilan8622 there's a different between discussing sex and literally putting the sex questions on the video picture, at the very beginning intro as a draw in and writing tmi everywhere. That feel very highschool and it's unhelpful. I've been in Christian circles all my life and am a Christian, I agree it needs to be destimatized but you can do it while holding it sacred not using it for clicks.
If you have any other questions, leave them below! I will answer some more in the 2nd trimester recap 🤗
Are you going to do a birth vlog?
Can we see an update of the nursery since you moved it to the main floor?
@@allisonlucas018 we second that!! :)
Have there been any dry spells during pregnancy?

Nice! Did you have a water birth for all 3?
I also heard about not pushing but waiting until your body starts pushing the baby out. What would you say about that?

Omg hi fellow snarker!
You go girl! 💕
The blood flow thing is so true!! When I had my baby I just kept reminding myself to relax my hands and it made my body relax so much more!

love you both!! i could literally watch your videos for hours 🫶🏻 honest , kind and on FIRE for the Lord
Milena literally looks so gorgeous and glowing from birth ! Tori, your bump is so adorable 😍 I love the biker shorts that show it off
So grateful for you two that share the good and the light in birth, rather than fear and negativity!! 🤩✨🙌🏼
Hi everyone, please pray for me and my family. My mum is having heart valve replacement surgery on Monday and I am really, really scared and worried about it. Please please PLEASE pray that she will be okay and that it will all go smoothly. Thank you. ❤

Fun fact!! Milena talks about baby going up and down during birth and she felt so uncomfortable but that’s actually what also helps prevent tearing
Aw yay love this collab! My fave ladies 💕
I clicked on this so quickly, love you two together!!!
Love y'all together!! I started watching each of your channels separately so it's so cool to see that you're now good friends :))
This was so good! it’s been so fun learning from you guys (& Jess) in your time of pregnancy and birth so thank you for sharing those moments with us and for educating us too 🥰
Wow more mom and pre birth videos PLEASE! This was so good
Omggg Tori I haven’t watched for a while I’m so happy for you that you’re pregnant!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🥰😍😘 so excited for you!!
Beeeen waiting to see the two of you together again 😭❤️ thank you for this , vlog next time with the hubbies please ☺️🇿🇦 love from South Africa x
Even if you have all the normal things epidural, etc. I highly suggest watching Leslie Burris's home birth! Yes, going in with peace vs. fear!! She just launched a birth class as well. So cool you're doing a home birth!
I would absolutely LOVE a video on advice to give new mommas!!
Love seeing Milena in these Q&A videos!! Hope we get to see more of her in future videos! :)
Loved this! I had three home water births and it was the greatest thing ever. So happy for you to do a home birth! I hope everything goes smoothly and safely for you!
Loved this conversation! You both are so encouraging!
the description ♥️ thank you from the bottom of my heart
Not sure if anyones mentioned this but Tori, the pain you’ve experienced that you’re describing sound like flare ups which very much feel like contractions as well! 😞 That pain is not normal even if doctors say it is. I have Endometriosis and know this exact feeling and experience many other symptoms as well. Praying you don’t have it but I would definitely look up the symptoms for it and if you feel you have it, meet with an Endometriosis specialist after you have baby boy! 💛 Feel free to ask me any questions!!!
You two are the sweetest thing EVER!!!!
Oh I loved this!!! Love both of you so much and this friendship ♥️
peace vs fear !!! we got this mommas ! I’ll be 13 weeks tomorrow 🥹🎉I am so excited to do natural birth this time 🎉
So excited for this❤️❤️ thanks for answering the questions you guys!
Will be praying for a safe and peaceful birth Tori ☺️
Oh that's cool to see you together. I am new to both of your channels. It's funny to see you both in the same video :) We need the same with the dudes next! Could be about pregnancy too or anything they want to talk about really.
God bless you!
That video is coming next week!! Stay tuned!!
@@ToriAndChad wow thank you for the reply! And awesome! 😃
So happy to see this upload. Love you guys. God bless🙏
Loved this video! So informative! Thank you for answering so openly and honestly!
Update: my third was born today. No epidural, no tearing, and definitely had some ring of fire lol.
Sending so much love to baby Avangeline and baby boy. Wishing you all the best ❤️
I'm sorry but the comment your friend made about you looking pregnant without seeing your belly is so condescending, and I think she made a etiquette video for when you are pregnant or freshly postpartum how you should avoid comments like that to new moms or a mom who just had a baby
Very rude
Hey thanks for posting I've been bored.
“Sounds like a Thursday” LOL hmm ok. As a mom of three who’s labors last 30+ hours each. I think that someone should remind you of what you said when you’re in labor and see what you think then 😂🤪
I clicked on this so quickly, love you two together!!!
This was so educational!! Thank you 🤍
I do have a question though.
Love this friendship!! Was following both of you separately before I think you even knew of each other 🥰😝
I'm curious how your contractions were in labor now looking back on this video? I've always had horrible period cramping so when people describe labor that way, I'm not as nervous because I'm just use to it. Would you say it was even worse than your already bad cramps?
Omg I need another video 🥲💖 loved this so much.
Love the video & the Christian perspective on birth. So important! Tori would you mind sharing the course you were mentioning in the beginning ?
my fave two girls together! ya'll both look SO GOOD. this is a great video:D
Wait 6 weeks even if you feel great because your uterus is still healing and you basically have a big wound from your placenta. Heard it from a doctor ;)
Bacterial Vaginosis is common during pregnancy...and often presents as excessive mucous (during pregnancy & if not pregnant).
lover this and hope for more in this💛 and love you Tori waterbirth so excited for you 🙏may Gods peace be present through it all
The best duo period
So excited to see this! My favorite duo!
I gave birth at a hospital and didn’t tear. Perineal massages every single day in the shower is what helps!
you girls are so much fun!!! congrats to you both and god bless💜🙏
love these TMI videos!! thanks for being real ;)
I hope that they will have again q&a now that Tori has birthed her son ☺️☺️
Love this video! I am having my second baby next month and this was so helpful. ❤️
Loved this video! I am not even pregnant or a mom, but I love to learn about pregnancy and birth. It is so fascinating 😀 best wishes from Denmark
I was so excited for a video like this!!!
This was so prefect thank you ☺️
