- Ever wonder how to kill a sentinel walker in No Man's Sky? This video will show you how to kill sentinel walkers in less than 10 seconds! There are other methods of how to kill a sentinel walker in No Man's Sky, however my method demonstrated in this video is by far the fastest and easiest. To have enough fire power to destroy sentinel walkers easily you will need either a plasma launcher or geology cannon, or both preferably as switching between each weapon is easier than recharging the singular one in combat.

I had no idea about the freaking personal shield on the multi tool for the longest time.. I thought it was a passive shield for some reason, not something you had to actually activate 😂 Was watching another video where the guy activated it as they were fighting the Walker and it blew my mind 😂 Aaaaaand I'm obviously here because I died as soon as the Walker dropped -.- Only my second death, but still wasn't happy about it, because I'm like 130 hours in haha. My first death was actually at the literal start of the game, within the first 5 minutes of gameplay. Toxic planet, and didn't find sodium in time because I was a noob lol. I hope this is the last surprise as far as enemies go. Glad I wasn't on Permadeath mode also 😅 Still can't believe I never knew about the shield.. Anyways, this was definitely a better guide than the other video because it made me realize that I needed to utilize the plasma launcher and geology cannon instead of using the boltcaster.

Hahaha damn, quite a difference from my first attempt. I stood behind a tree the whole time to avoid the big laser. Took me a while to figure out I had to shoot for the legs.. I went for the head.

Fully upgraded positron ejector is super powerful. Can kill ships in one or two shots sometimes.
I destoryed the knee pads and the eye but he kept using the gun anyway and my plasma gun then just shot straight through him like he wasnt there, I guess it got glitched. Nice tutorial tho lol

Well, the AI in No Man's Sky is fairly terrible. I've found if you just use the terraforming tool and build a little cave it kind of freaks the Sentinel AI out, half the time the drones do nothing but fly around the entrance to the cave while you pick them off at your leisure, and the walker and mech thing are too big to enter the cave or target you in it anyway and you can just keep popping out and unloading on them, then ducking back in. The only one that seems to actually be able to path into a cave is the smaller "dog" mechs, but those are pretty easy to take down, at least compared to the mechs and walkers.
I thinl as beginner its the best to use a ship. They are slightly overpowered. Its easy to beat a walker and the freighter with the first unupgraded ship.
Now I see how it's done by people who have a clue what they're doing.

yeah anyone can do it that way, not a real efficient way to do it tho especially getting them to spawn again and loot everything
