Hello, thank you for your video. I have 4 led flood lights. Will I need two transformers? Can I screw in 2 wires from the same line? Could I use both 12 and 15 plus com?
hmmm His MISS JORICCA :).. I think one transformer would work.. I have about 25 lights on mine.. two wires from the same line? I am not sure.. I am not sure about 12 and 15 plus com.. sorry i am not more helpful :(
Nice job 👍. Will a 14 gauge wire about 135ft length with 8 9.8 watt LED Hampton lights work on a 200 watt transformer? My neighbor mention I would need two separate transformers to support my flowerbeds. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
I am running about 20 LED bulbs landscape lighting with about 100 feet or so of wire.. works pretty good... not sure what gauge wire I am running.. but I think it came in 100 foot sections from HD. I am running mine on the 15 v Setting.. no issues.. I think YOU would be okay with one
I currently have a 120 watt hampton bay transformer. If exceeded the total wattage to 130 watt would it be able to handle it or should I not? Going over 10 watts hopefully wouldn't hurt? Any information would be great thanks
Hello, thanks for the question. I used the higher voltage because of the length of wire I have. I read that if you have quite a bit of wire it can lower your voltage at the end. So I opted for the 15v :) Take care my FRIEND!
Bought a step light and box clearly says "adapter" included. One would assume this means lighting adapter. NOPE. That refers to a piece of garbage metal bracket that is useless. Instead it comes with "patent pending" ridiculous pin plug and play end and instructions says, need electrical adapter "sold separate" What the hell is wrong with this company. Don't worry, I am not about to pay more for an adapter then the light itself. I cut off the electrical ends and used one of my household 12v adapters. Take that Hampton landfill bay.
This isn't an "install of the product"(including lights/wires, etc.), its just replacing the power source. Shoulda made that clear from the beginning..., Ayaayayaa!

Thanks again!!! Very Helpful Video
YOU are so welcome! THank YOU for your support ;)
His the negative placed on the com or the 12volt?
hmm.. not sure if it matters? mine is on come and 15 v but not sure which is pos or neg
Is the wire with writing on it the negative or positive?? One wire is bare and the other has writing
@@cplayer2 the one with no writing goes to the com for me

YOU are most welcome :)

I think YOU are talking about the workload at 130W... I would think the lights would just be slightly dimmer if you went that route..
Can i use this transformer for outdoor conditions?
I have mine mounted in my garage and the lighting is outside... I am not sure if it is water proof or not
@@ETPCYT Thank you !!!
Hi!!! I am using a 14 wire and decided to use 15v. is this okay. I have 2X300 low voltage transformer. Thank you
I would think that is probably all right
What lights are those? Hampton?
oh.... generic ones I got from homedepot.. just regular landscape lights
ETPC EPIC TIME PASS CHANNEL They are probably from Malibu lighting. Home Depot doesn’t sell “generic” landscape lights.
Are they LED or incandescent?
Why'd you do 15 volts instead of 12? Just curious

@@ETPCYT interesting thanks for responding
@@notdirtyflics1067 Glad to my FRIEND :) thank YOU for the comment :)
Very helpful thanks
YOU got it, JD.. Thanks for stopping by the channel :)
Doesn’t matter with he two split wire going to “Com” and the other wire ether 12v or 15v?
15 v for longer runs
Thanks.
YOU are welcome WAYNE :)

nice work SCOTT. I can't believe they didn't give a lighting adapter..
