- During the fall of 2005, the staff at IPD noticed that 1994-1998 Volvo 850 and S70/V70 T5 models were becoming quite popular with the Volvo performance crowd. IPD has developed a Stage III turbo upgrade package.

That is one SICK BRICK!!! Turn 1 is Epic! I cannot wait to get it done to my mint 1998 S70. Perfect Sleeper!
holy fast forward batman!
I'm ready to upgrade my Volvo now!
The Volvo V70 non-turbo is wonderful, mine will be 14 years old in January of 2012 with 154000 miles nothing on these cars if it's well maintained.
I should add, if more traction is all you want, a limited slip diff in the front would probably be the easiest way to get it. I haven't looked into the details for what is out there for the R's transmissions though.
M56H with LSD simple.. the M59 that comes with the V70R has a viscous coupling acting like a LSD but isnt a full bodied LSD..
T5m's -3... I have a tropic green 1998 v70 t5 manual myself, snabb intake,ARD green tune, ipd wires, cap, rotor, and a turbo back OBX exhaust is on its way and will be on next week. Next step is throw in the IPD springs and an 18T. Check out a few of my vids :). VOLVO FOR LIFE
+Melok Vendetta, The transmission? Well, as far as putting a larger turbo on an 850, the first thing that'll go, is the engine itself. Those aren't designed for boost that high.
I just bought a 1999 V70 5 cylinder wagon and it has a hard time getting to 130 . Auto Transmission and I would like to make it handle a lot better and maybe put a booster-(Turbo) on it. It seems like it is just a family wagon though. How do I tell if it is possible to get the parts necessary to make it perform like a sportier car? Awesome video. I am from Portland, Maine and am living in Down East, Maine now. I never knew these cars were actually kind of sporty. Wow. Cool video!
im looking at a 98 s70 t5 manual with 101k miles :D stage 3 too hahaha
is this package still available? I don't see it on the site.
what kind of turbo is that (1:26)?
18 T.
yay new vid :D :D :D
that transmission will not last
