Yes it is changing here we are also getting a lot of more modern flat roof homes and even seeing 2 level homes being built. Anything goes here, it's the Wild West.
This is a WOW house. I think this builder hit a home run. Now my only criticism I may have is the kitchen appliances. A buddy of mine owns an appliance sales/service company and stated Samsung is the worst appliance company out there. But other than that it’s perfect in my humble opinion. It appears for that price point you shouldn’t have any issues selling this beauty.
Beautiful home. Really love all the design choices. I personally LOVE all the gold hardware and tile accents(my female brain interprets the gold accents in a home as jewelry for the house…love it!). Really love the pool, outdoor kitchen, and picture frame lanai. Wish the primary shower also had a handheld shower head(a must have to wash the pups), and did not like the pedestal sink(I always need more cabinets for storage). Pedestal sinks should be illegal in $1M home…this is a hill I will die on😂😂 This house checks off all boxes except one…no office. If this home had an office instead of that wasted space up front, it would have been a front runner. Three bedroom plus office is a must have for me though. I have seen this layout online a lot and I still have no clue how builders think this space is supposed to be used. Too small to utilize in a practical way😩
This is 100% my feelings on this home you have summarized it much better than I could. I showed this house to some of my clients on the weekend and it was a win, except for there was no office, so unfortunate in such a beautiful home. They never gave the extra space for the Office instead in my opinion, sort of wasted it on that front entrance. Frustrating for Real Estate Agent trying to get clients the perfect home because as we say, this has all the boxes checked, except for that lack of office space.
thats the problem in florida right now.....taxes around 1.6 millage.....or around $17,500 at least....insurance around 6,000....flood ins at least 6,000. so around 30,000 a year. dont listen to anybody...call the county and insurance co. Alot of builders are pushing bs numbers....including babcock ranch. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. I live on the water in southwest florida so i know.....The only saving grace i built new 8 years ago and my costs are grandfathered in. insurance is going up 20% a year till it reaches the correct rate.

I love everything about this house, can't find anything to nitpick on. The one-headed shower is still very nice and it can also be upgraded later
