@@paigeedelston ? I am not lying? We crossed the Dore pass route, camped at the bottom, ran all the way to sandfly point and packrafted the deepwater basin.
@@arianagm2332 To each their own, I love running on beautiful tracks like this and still take in a lot. We also had some really nice breaks. I still also do a lot of hiking, but when I was there I wasn't able to book the huts as it was fully booked. To still experience the trail we had to run it in 1 day, as you're not allowed to camp on trail (and finding a off-trail camping spot is quite hard). If I ever come back to New Zealand I will try to hike it as well, as the area is beautiful, however I don't think it was that much more special as similar tracks in the area (which are way less busy so actually nicer, but a lot tougher on the feet.)
This video coverage is beautiful! Would it be possible to choose a few select clips from this to add to my video diary of my 3-day journey on this hike? I will of course give credit to the footage. Let me know and much gratitude!
We hope you like it! Our talented videographer uses a mashup of tunes to make the whole video. If you like a particular section, comment with the timestamp :)

@@Sjaapdespaak Thanks for the info! I'm hoping to be there 2023 and it's tough to pick locations since I don't have unlimited vacation!!! 🤣
Im coming over in November to hike the Milford Track. I'm really looking forward to it and thank you for this very informative video.
This is great and well detailed about the track. Nice scenery too.
Excellent presentation of a beautiful area.
On the post-COVID list. May we all get back to good health together so we can see this beautiful land
Good info. Thanks.
Did this walk in October years ago. Rainy and foggy. Saw nothing for four days. Good viewing is unusual in October. If only I knew!
I found McKinnon pass was no trouble, but the last day to Sandfly point was pretty awful owing to very thick mud most of the way!
Beautiful !
Why do they remove the bridges I winter??

Are there animals that will eat you don't they have Panthers
we don't have any predators in NZ so you don't have to worry about getting eaten by an animal. But do keep an eye on dem humans, quite dangerous.
