➡️ Margot Cotten is the only french girl who can actually play americana without blushing. Playing drums, guitars and keys, she is a multi-talented singer songwriter. Make sure to watch her new videos on Sundays. She plays covers by Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Elton John, Cat Stevens, The Rolling Stones, The Byrds, Neil Young etc as well as her own material.

Okay, honestly I didn’t think this song could be covered. Not only did Margot cover it, she nailed it. Simply an amazing effort.
Nice use of the word “amazing “ the most over used word in America. Read my assessment, maybe you’ll see the truth.

Awesome talent.
Beyond amazing!
This is ABSOLUTELY FREAKING AWESOME! So well done! Thank You so much, and B R A V O!!
In Jersey, everything's lagal long as you don't get caught
Then the walls came down
Face down on the field
Beautiful lyrics of the highest order. Almost like Brownsville Girl.
I absolute love this cover. Awesome. I always said wouldn’t this song be awesome if they made a movie about this story. 👍🏼
Absolutely!
Your voice has the right level of depth and sultriness to make this noir novel of a song believable ❤
STUNNING in every way possible.
Thanks so much !
Sometimes I think of Jane along with the names of every women in my life However as a native New Yorker ,I never paid attention to the WTC .As. A retired Firefighter from FDNY now living in NJ the lyric of THE WALLS CAME DOWN ALL THE WAY TO HELL,I Guess I never saw them when the were standing .God Bless me that morning getting me out of the way .So 22 years later these words give me pause to reflect True sometimes nothing in NJ is illegal unless you get caught ,which can be sad . Don’t we all have a Jane in our past . Love your cover 🥁🎤🎸🎶
What a wonderful treat to come across this brilliant cover! You should be very proud of yourself. I can't imagine this was easy to plan or put together! P.S. You have a gorgeous head of hair!
Wow. wow. wow. Again I'm surprised about your talent. And the thumbs up at the end. Very funny! I'm a Dylan fan since I was young (born '59)...And both Wilburys I got in vinyl. I played them until the needle smoked down. This song is so great, it is a real Dylan song even if there were all the great other performers. But this song showed how great Dylan was and is. If you saw the documentary about the Travelling Wilburys, you understand. Your version is top notch, now doubt. I'm happy that I found your channel. Looking forward to next sunday!
Margot 👏 Brawo! 👏💐🍓💐
Wonderful rendition! Thanks for sharing.
So well done!!!
Thanks! More Traveling Wilburys' songs are on the way !
It's been a jaw-dropping experience to discover you in youtube, with this great cover... You have talent, voice, style, and a subtle sense of humour in your one-woman army!! In conclusion, I proceed to subscribe, you have another fan here!!!
Welcome Cesar !!
Fully Agree. I recently found Margot. An outstanding artist. I love her style and humour.
I agree. An amazing talent.
There ain't no clunkers in Margot Cotton's performances.
What a weekend! A fabulous 26-song online concert by Mary Chapin Carpenter and now Margot Cotton does the Traveling Wilburys. Thanks!
Bob would love it. Well done.
🙏
Merci pour les travellings
...and another Margot afternoon....thanx a lot. You're the best
Tom Petty would be clapping his hands in joy. What a performance. You absolutely nail it. Thanks for your wonderful musik.
Why just Petty? What about Dylan who sings it? Then there’s a few more guys you may have herd of like George Harrison, Roy Orbison and Jeff Lynne. 😹
@@thelastrebelshow1627 Dylan wrote it, Petty wrote the chorus 9 when the walls came down) which was intended for another song
Very great cover of a fabulous song.
To have quintuplets that play this well is superfantastique !
I hear Jeff, I hear Tom, I hear George , but most of all, I hear Robert .
WOW!!!!!!!!! Fantastic! That song is a Dylan extravaganza of wild lyrics about wild adventures. You did an amazing job on it.
Absolutely bloody fantastic. I think I love you!
Thanks Dan !!
To this day, I am a fan of the Traveling Wilburys. Their first album was the better of the two even though the second on won a Grammy. How could they go wrong? Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, George Harrison, and Jeff Lynne all in the same band! The probability is high that any music fan is a fan of at least one of these artists, so it wouldn't be a stretch for that person to be a fan of the Wilburys. On top of that, Jim Keltner was the drummer but didn't want to be an official member (hence why his character was "Buster Sidebury" and not a Wilbury).
Margot absolutely nailed this one.
Thank you Walt ! What Rickenbacker do you have ? I'm jealous, one day I'll own one !
Great version of this great Bob tune
Thank you Steve!
Excellent
I have heard that George Harrison would audition all of the Wilburys' for each tune to determine who was best suited for that tune. My guess is that George just looked at the title "Tweeter And The Monkey Man" and said it's all yours Bob! What a powerful tune!! Dylan's best? Perhaps, I love it!! Great rendition Margot!! What an effort recording every track! Really Great!!!!
Thanks !
@@margotcotten Hi Margot, I was back for about the 5th time to watch this masterpiece. I continue to be amazed at how good, not only the tune is, but how great the video is! Just a professional approach from one end to the other! (Loved the thumbs up at the end!) I hope you achieve your wildest dreams!
This is weird. Playing the Traveling Wilbury's and Roy Orbison all week and now you come with this great cover. Thanks
I hope the storytelling song comes back because I am getting tired of loudness and beats with no story.
@@alexlippard2360 I only listen to music played on real instruments by real musicians that sing their songs. There is enough, just discovered James McMurtry. He is a real storyteller.
@@alexlippard2360 I agree. Ballards show the writer has the imagination to tell a story to music. Modern musicians, no imagination. We old bastards lived and enjoyed in a period of fabulous talent during the 50's, 60's, 70's.
Very well done!
But, but...this is awesome!
This track has been a favourite of mine since the late eighties when it came out and I've never heard a more perfect interpretation.
P.S.
Was the Deer Hunter banada first seen when mentioning Tweeter going to Vietnam intentional?
Amazing
absolute respect !!!
Girl you knocked this one out of the park. What a job. God bless.
Perfecta...!!!!!
I always stayed away from any monkeys in rahway....Jersey speedway. Love this M.
I'm not often one to comment but this is a truly excellent cover. Off to explore your other work now!
amazing
well - that's surprisingly great ..
Thanks!
No one sings Dylan as good as you
I think Dylan would approve.
Now that was a class act cover , brilliant 👏
Merci ! Thank you !
Very fine and strong version of a very fine song ... merci and thank you so much for sharing!
wow!
Wow..... Well done!
Thanks 😊
That's 2 cool, i like your red guitar, it's so shiny. Oui, bellisima, c'est trés bien. Rock on Margot. J'aime votre amour de la music.
TALENT!!
So beyond itself, plus more! lm
Thank you Miss cotton that is the most fantastic sound that I've heard in a long time😇✌️🌻❤️🔥
What a talent love her.😁
Hey Margot I see some clowns criticizing your coving to this. For me a very big Dylan fan, you have done a really fine job, in fact your work should make more realize just how many great songs there are in the catalogue.
Im working on it …
Astonishingly good cover, excellent production and video!!
Amazing!
Cool
Superbe !
Merci Margot 🤩. Et vivement dimanche prochain !
I often remark on how good Margot's drumming is, but this time she rocks a Jim Keltner number. Amazing.
Thanks Charles !
Another great one by margot
Fabulous!!! Got up out of my chair did my best Mick Jagger moves!
Jim Perhaps fantastic !!! 🕺
Another Great song by Margot.
👍 👍 Sorry, I would give you more, but I only have two thumbs.
.
Jeeeees sauce. You have so much energy,,, it appears your every moment awake is with art happening.. A brilliant 5 minute gig,,I cant begin to calculate the shooting and editing hours
Perfect. Down to the harmonies where you can hear a bit of a Tom Petty vibe. Guitar and vocal are sublime.
Loved the Wilburys. I had a mix tape with this song. Great job. A female Dylan...who'd a thunk it.
The Wilburys are the best !
I like how You polish your gits, looks nice.
Multi-instrumentiste j'adore ♥️
the two of you singing together is great
BEAUTIFUL VERSIÓN..MARGOT 👍👌👏👉TOM PETTY IS MUDDY WILBURY 🎸🎸🎸✌...
Absolutely awesome! You really are a great talent. So glad I discovered you.
Great Margot, thanks!!
I am 68 years old I've always been old school, if you're going to do a song you better do it as good if not better my hat's off to you I give you an A+ I especially like the guitar echo
I'm 72 and I give her an A++, if that's a thing.
Thank you for this :)
Nothing wrong with trains or the traveling Wilburys...just some of the pieces that make up the great artist you've become...never fear being a little odd...most successful people dare to be odd in some way:)
yep, stay far out of the box! It's precariously hot in there! lm
Tweeter ? Low spark of a high heeled boys . Traffic . That should answers something sorta 😃
Absolutely did the song justice! So impressive this version fits right in! I love it!
This was just freaking awesome! What an amazing cover!
You always do an excellent job. Personally, I didn't even have this song on my list, it has actually been a good time. But now I've added it back to my playlist. Thank you for this wonderful inspiration.
Impressive!
Superb, found you on youtube, what a talent!
Welcome aboard! Don’t forget to subscribe !!
I found you while listening to Roger McGuinn's version of My Back Pages. I enjoyed your version and listened to some more of your songs. Really like your originals such as Paris NYC. Nice. I'd love to hear you do a version of Tom Petty's King's Highway. There are a couple of his live, acoustic versions out there. Good luck.
Thank you Robert and welcome to my channel ! Kings Highway, why not ! I will keep that in mind !
VI Love the Songs, als great. Phenomenal
Moi itou !
@@margotcotten on devrait peut-être lui écrire.
@@hp-merlinprevost9935 bonne idée!!
Wow goosebumps better than the original I'd buy a ticket
Incredible! astonishing!
Brilliant cover! Love it! Thumbs up!
You are amazing! I'm so used to the originals that I'll continue to prefer them but your versions will show up in my playlists now and then. Pure pleasure for my ears and I wish you success!
I also prefer the original versions !! 🙃
Great cover, Margot. Many thanks.
I actually like this better than the original. Well done!
That's really nice, thanks a lot !
Wow this is a really awesome version of this track! Thanks so much!!
so beauty
Ok I found this by accident and I’m glad I did. This now is the best version I’ve ever heard the mood is set great job
Accidents are the best ! welcome !
Wow! Fantastic cover!
You have a ton of potentials. You could be a hair shampoo model. You have the best hair in France. You could be a DJ. You talk well. You could be a fashion model. You look extremely good. You could be a RUclipsr. Your look attracts viewers. But your best talent is musical talent. All you need is one good, original song, this year.💛
Sweet......
Georges G-Style is back, this on point from the whole band
Outstanding! That couldn't have been easy.
I did it a few years ago !! Here is a playlist of all the Dylan songs I covered ruclips.net/video/iIPScENSqxo/видео.html
Love it ! Hope you cover more Wilbury's !
Well I did End Of The Line and will soon record Handle With Care ...
@@margotcotten Can't Wait for "Handle With Care"! This and "End of the Line" are amazing.
Lot of work to produce a version of one the best songs ever, thanks!
