      Indeed. I've always found it beautiful. Entrance Of The Glads trio actually similarly lovely on the quiet but somewhat overplayed obviously. William Rimmer wrote a similarly emotional trio in his lesser known, easier march "The Victor's Return" (weirdly mistitled here)

    The joy of playing march is on equal footing with the joy and compotense of the ensemble. I can attest to the joy of performing The Florentineer March since we have performed it in concert in each of the two local concert bands which I have the privilege of playing the tuba!

    My highschool is playing this piece at a field trip to Anaheim, im very excoted and this is definitley my favorite pf the stuff we're playing :)
    I mean I play trombone and this has a GREAT trombone part soooo

    Very Pleasant arrangement. I did come for the Eight and 24 Fortes trombone parts, But still enjoyed the piece.

    Absolutely wonderful, ABSOLUTELY wonderful. Tempo felt a bit slow, but that is the only real potential issue.

      It was 8 Fs and then 24 Fs later on. Or in other terms. Fortississississississississimo and Fortississississississississississississississississississississississississimo.

      Au contraire! It is PRECISELY the correct tempo! This is a "concert march", not a British marching band piece or a Sousa piece.
