This is such a moving piece. The delivery of the line “this parcel has to be in Suva by noon or we sunk” is one of the greatest deliveries in the history of cinema.
This definitely feels like something I'd see in a SpongeBob episode. not even the narrative to the commercial, the whole ass clip feels like it would fit in perfectly for a scene in an episode lol.
I used to treat it as a laugh, but after watching an movie analysis from a channel called Accented Media on Who Killed Captain Alex, my mind was completely blown by the ingenuity of Wakaliwood's director.
I remember back than during Fast and Furious 5 that this series is just getting too ridiculous and joked how one day, they're gonna be driving cars to space... and then FF9 came...

Promising things a Hi-Lux couldn't do, like like flying or going up 90 degree hills as we stacked the camera . You wouldn't get away it with now. Honestly it's way funnier than the full CGI fake reality things of today. I know (guess) it was not supposed to be funny that time, or at least not this way, but now it is ofc hehe. But the story itself was meant to be, and was funny even back then I guess :D
