There was a great comic book series about John McClane as a rookie cop, and while he doesn’t get involved in anything at this scale they did give him a history of risky behavior and getting involved in bad situations.
Please react to Firefly!!! It's a TV show, so your video format might need a tweak, but I am certain you'll not be disappointed. Edit: Also, 100% a Christmas movie

There are Christmas references all over the place. I don't know how some people can say it's not a Christmas movie. "Everyone has great hair in this movie." Yeah, gotta love those 80's hair styles!
My 2nd video-reaction from you (after "it's a Wonderful Life"). Nikki, you are incredible. Soooo entertaining. Your personality is amazing. Also, you have basically no make-up and your face is so beautiful. Your husband obviously adores you. His background laughter is a perfect complement. He is a lucky guy.

I hope someone let her know that "the blond one" was Alexander Godunov, a former world class ballet dancer. That's one of the reasons he came off as so graceful.
The one she referred to as the "elegant one" is Tony, played by Andreas Wisniewski, though. Wisniewski's German, and also a ballet dancer before he became an actor. Godunov played Karl, Tony's brother, the angry one with the Steyr AUG. Both with glorious blonde manes here.
Rickamn's look of fear when he falls is genuine - they were supposed to drop him (he was on a wire hanging that high up) on three but they dropped him on 1. So he was truly scared shitless.
Once at a party a child approached Alan Rickman and asked “Why do you always play bad guys?” Rickman took a few seconds before replying “They are not bad guys, they are very interesting characters.”

Great reaction video, and I'm so glad your "heart did not fall out of your butt". If you liked this Die Hard you'll love 2,3, and 4.. Thanks for the entertaining reaction. Can hardly wait for your next one. (And yes, I'm A subscriber.)
2 was ok, but tried too hard to use a similar formula to the first, 3 was great and 4 was super ridiculous.
@@Cheepchipsable 2 is mediocre. 3 is excellent. 4 is barely any more ridiculous than 1,2,or 3. 5 is GOD-AWFUL and we should all ignore it.
The constant hair complements were just awesome😂😂😂😂
You are the best person that ever existed Nikki. You know why? Because YOU KNOW that this is a christmas movie.
People keep ignoring that this movie has evil christmas music AND christmas sounds nonstop. People also say John doesn't do anything christmasy.... yes he does, he freakin goes to a CHRISTMAS PARTY. Then there are ALL the references to christmas. Just because this isn't a movie from the Hallmark channel, that doesn't mean its not a christmas movie.
I'm team NIKKI!
I've always like "Now I have a machine gun, ho-ho-ho" as a Christmas sweater (and you can get them)
11:51 - That little slap on the bolt release looks very silly but is actually 100% the correct way to ready an MP5!
Your reactions are growing on me! Wow, you've moved into my top 3 already & I just found this channel. Back to The Future was my first watch. I look forward to more reactions Nikki!
Edit:
Also, 100% a Christmas movie
This is a GREAT reaction channel. Refreshing to see somebody actually reacting to the movie and not just spending most of the time in silence.
Touch screens were hot sh*t back in the 80s
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
And we were awesome for using them 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Nikki: "Christmas"
Nikki: "Christmas"
Nikki......you are awesome!!!! Die Hard is a Christmas movie!!! Thank you so much!!!
"Is he barefoot this whole movie because of that..." Okay, that made me laugh.
The hacker dude actor recently passed. He was a well known character actor. He was in Top Gun and in tv series Walker Texas Ranger and the original Left Behind movies
The real hero of this movie is the building. Explosions on top and bottom and still standing
I love it when you realized john will be barefoot through out the whole movie 😅😂
This is indeed a Christmas movie.
The whole reason John McClane went to LA was to be with his family at Christmas.
...."he'll Always be a Frittelli Brother to me"...great callback!!!!
The 'elegant one' is Andreas Wisniewski, one of the two gangsters who IS actually German. He's also a classically trained ballet dancer.
If you like Alan Rickman you should watch the underrated comedy/adventure/science fiction GALAXY QUEST, Alan Rickman was fantastic and it was a great movie. Sigourney Weaver, Tim Allen, Sam Rockwell and more star in it. Highly Recommend. I enjoyed your reaction, I look forward to your next one.
"By Grabthar's Hammer...what a savings.";)
There are Christmas references all over the place. I don't know how some people can say it's not a Christmas movie.
"Everyone has great hair in this movie." Yeah, gotta love those 80's hair styles!
Uli, the candy bar snatcher, is played by Al Leong, martial artist, stuntman and 1980s movie and TV henchman. He was in EVERYTHING.
"The second one is called Die Harder?!?" That moment when you realize our world is, in fact, a caricature just like in Robocop, Tropic Thunder, etc :)
Nikki lu for the win. This channel is going to blow up, you're having the most fun
"He's like a Gazelle" really got me lol. I can't unsee it now
This is the most enjoyable reaction I've watched so far. Nikki was so invested. I haven't laughed that much in a long time. Thank you! You've earned another subscriber.
When they filmed Rickman falling, they counted 3...2...1, and then released him on or just before 2. So his shocked expression is real.
Fun fact: the blonde at the airport that John bumps into is Terri Lynn Doss who had a centerfold in Playboy a few months after the movie premiere.
Where, oh where did you find this amazing woman? Please never stop reacting to movies. I want to watch every movie I've evet seen with her!
A soft death in my mind is falling asleep and never waking up.
Her reactions are so fun! I'm loving! I hope at some point she reacts to Scream, it would be awesome!
My new favorite reaction channel bar none. Keep em coming!
Once at a party a child approached Alan Rickman and asked “Why do you always play bad guys?” Rickman took a few seconds before replying “They are not bad guys, they are very interesting characters.”
Christmas isn't complete until Hans falls from the top of the Nakatomi Tower.
