Hey Everyone, hope you're all well. We love the Quays onboard the Arvia and Iona. Those fish and chips are seriously amazing!! If you've been to the Quays on either ship what did you like/dislike? Thanks for watching
Always enjoy your posts. One of my favorite British food invention is yorkshire pudding. I don’t have it often but when I do, It is all I want to eat. Can’t ever get enough of it! Also another great British food invention are fish & chips. Had my first in London years ago and it was served wrapped in newspaper. Great job you guys are doing.
Yum love Yorkshire pudding and my mum used to make it with roast dinner as well as toad in the hole with chops or sausages they were one of my favourites
we just got back off iona. Loved the Quays. esp fish and chips which was epic. katsu chicken was also awesome. Best thing we had there though was the creme brulee desert. Was awesome!!
Thanks for another great video. We were thinking of only using Horizon when we're on Arvia next year, but definitely going to give the Quays a try now :)
Cheers guys great video again ❤️❤️ I cannot wait to get on Arvia next May she looks amazing. Think I might just have fish and chips every day 🤣😂🤣😂 thanks for highlighting the other options for posh night.
Oh my goodness this video made my day when u said about having the crispy chicken from katsu curry without the sauce as my son has asd and loves chicken but I wasn’t sure that other than the MDR we would have that as an option.
Hi Stacey and Kev. The food all looked good. (Compared to hospital food). Had surgery on Thursday, I'm now slowly getting better. Thank you for sharing. Another great video ❤❤
Hi MaryAnn, sorry to hear you've had to go into hospital but really hope your surgery went well. Hope you feel better soon ❤️. Thanks so much for watching as always
Food!!! 😋😋 Saw everything we'd need for breakfast. Even the "Nuts and Twigs!" (granola) 😁😁We'll pass on the 🐟🐠 eggs though. Lunch and dinner looked delicious too. The curry and rice (unseen) sound and look wonderful! We'd be in culinary heaven. You look stunning in your hat, Stacey! Sorry Kev, I say this in a gentlemanly way. Love the sophisticated look! Love you both.
Hi Dave and Kathy hope you're both ok. And haha thanks Dave about the hat lol. Sophisticated 🤔 yes I'll definitely take that one hehe. I ended up having to buy the hat at one of the ports we stopped at as I had burnt my scalp!! Kept it on a lot then to make sure I had my moneys worth 🤣
Thanks for this one guys. It's good that you do all three meal times for each dining location. We loved the fish and chips on Iona from the Quays. Certainly a good idea if you want to get off the ship early at breakfast. Not going till May 2025 to the Med but looking forward to it. And that hat.....sure i saw Clint Eastwood wearing that ages ago in a Western.
What can I say David you just don't know good fashion when you see it 🤪. And yes we like to cover as many different menus as we can to really give people a good idea of what to expect. Could just eat some of those Quays fish and chips right now 😁
Hello you 2 happy people love your hat Stacey 👒 thank-you for your interesting vlogs the fish and chips look lovely and the yorkie pud Kev had hope you are having a lovely weekend xx thank-you take care see ya soon 🙋♀️👋🥰🥰😘😘
Enjoyed everything in the Quays but like yourselves the Fish and chips is the best . Did you try or is there a vlog coming from Ripples ice cream parlour ?
We did try it but its not in any vlogs. We had a scoop and there "magnum" style ice cream. We preferred the magnum one over the scoops of ice cream, the scoops weren't that tasty and a bit watery
Next time you or anyone goes on Arvia would recommend trying the ice cream afternoon tea in ripples you can happily share one , it's really good and next too the Quays 👍
When I was on Arvia I think the food would have been much better if it was hot and not barely warm. And that was the case in most eating areas. Arvia was a lovely ship but not to the standards that P&O once were . Happy cruising safe travels
Hello Kev and Stacey we love are food on the cruise ships, as with you we will try everything, but one thing puzzles me you don't seem to put on any weight, we come of the ship a good few pound heavier, well more than a few great vlog
Hi hope you had a great time on the Aurora 😁 and oh yes we do lol. Them scales definitely say we do when we get home 🤣 When on a cruise though what you see us eat in a video we then don't tend to eat again that day (unless we then film something else that day lol)
Hi, enjoying the videos about the dining options, what's not to like about food 😋 we're going on our maiden cruise on Arvia around the Caribbean in January so good to get an unbiased opinion. One question, in the quays did you eat all of that food that you showed? There was a hell of a lot to wolf down in one sitting 😮😮 Keep up the good work
Hi thanks so much and yes we did, we wouldn't waste it just to show on a video. All the food we have in our videos we eat unless it's something we really don't like the taste of like that salmon and eggs we showed lol. Most of the time when we do a food video and it's a lot of food in one go we will just have that meal for the day and nothing else 😁
Another great video, we definitely had Toast in the Quays when we were on in June but can’t remember if you had to ask or if it was just there. What’s with the hat Stacey?
Lol no we just stay active on the ship on seadays just walking about as we can't keep still for 5 mins. Not really in to sunbathing. Plus it helps we do lots of walking when In the ports
I am going on the Arvia on the 7th July this year On Sunday 14 July I going to Florence and Pisa Leaving at 7am Where can I get a very early breakfast on the ship Thanks
Another great informative video but how the hell do you keep you figures. After eating that lot, they would have to roll me to my cabin. Whats your secret 😂
Haha oh gosh maybe it's the camera angles and lighting making us look better!!! 🤣. We do eat a lot in the video but then that will be our meal for that day. We don't tend to snack in between I guess lol
Hi! Another great series! What is white pudding and back bacon? Also, is streaky bacon like American bacon? Yorkshire pudding like puff pastry? Sorry, I need an English food primer! Thx!
White and black pudding is made of oatmeal and animal fat, traditionally pork. They are the same except black pudding has pigs blood In it. Kev has never liked it but I (Stacey) had it growing up but haven't touched it as an adult. Definitely couldn't stomach it nowadays lol. And yes streaky bacon is like American bacon. And don't know what compare a Yorkshire pudding to as its very unique lol but they are made from a batter of eggs, flour, milk or water. We have them with a Sunday roast but you can also have bangers and mash in one which Is the Yorkshire pudding filled with mashed potatoes and sausages
Where can you get the toast from? There isn't enough room for people to stand about waiting for toast, and they definitely didn't have enough staff to get everyone some toast lol. If they did it, they should have a sign so everyone knows, same as in the MDR they don't have omelettes on the menu but do them if you ask
@OneCouplesAdventure Near where sliced bread and rolls are located. True there is nothing to inform us that this is available its just what we noticed someone else doing.

Thanks so much and yes lol you can't beat a decent Yorkshire pudding 😋 😀
Great video as always guys.
Love your enthusiasm for all things food related.
Yum love Yorkshire pudding and my mum used to make it with roast dinner as well as toad in the hole with chops or sausages they were one of my favourites
Yes can't beat a Yorkshire pudding with a Sunday roast. Need to have it with sausage and mash again 😋 haven't had that for years lol
just subscribed to your channel. Really enjoy your vlogs they are fun and informative especially the food ones.
Fantastic video guys, and as always full of information, well presented and fun. You 2 sure do love your food lol same as me!
we just got back off iona. Loved the Quays. esp fish and chips which was epic. katsu chicken was also awesome. Best thing we had there though was the creme brulee desert. Was awesome!!
Extremely comprehensive video. Thank so much
Looking forward to trying the Quays in couple of weeks.Keep the video's coming as giving us few ideas 😊
Thanks for another great video. We were thinking of only using Horizon when we're on Arvia next year, but definitely going to give the Quays a try now :)
Yes definitely give the quays a try. Are you not bothered about the other restaurants also? So many other good places to eat
Love the look of the fish and chips and the prawn Thai curry. It also looks quite sedate. Will def go there when we are on next
We ate there as soon as it opened so it was quieter but it definitely got a lot busier the later on it got
Simple, clear directions and advise, thanks so much x
Thanks so much
Cheers guys great video again ❤️❤️ I cannot wait to get on Arvia next May she looks amazing. Think I might just have fish and chips every day 🤣😂🤣😂 thanks for highlighting the other options for posh night.
Haha they are definitely nice enough to have every day 😄
Streaky bacon and pancakes are a must and the prawns in the thai green curry looked huge.
And must say you are rocking that hat Stacey 🤠
Thanks so much

I like wearing a hat lol 🤷
Another great video. Really enjoying this series. With all that food ( not judging as I am the same) do you visit the gym?
Lol no we just stay active on the ship on seadays just walking about as we can't keep still for 5 mins. Not really in to sunbathing. Plus it helps we do lots of walking when In the ports

Quays or the buffet would be the quickest
Thanks for the information 😊

Thank you Stacey! I don’t think the black or white pudding would be for me either, but I’m definitely going to try to make the Yorkshire pudding!
I think you can get toast, and have croissants warmed up just ask member of the crew near that area of the quays.
Did a member of staff get it for them?
Just looked back at the footage and there isn't a toaster anywhere
@@OneCouplesAdventure yes
Meant to ask - they don’t do dessert then do they?
Hi yes we showed the few they did, they were just round the corner where we showed the tea/coffee stations 👍
i must have missed that will look again cheers@@OneCouplesAdventure
I’m hungry now 😂
Haha sorry 😀
I find the food very average in all the venues. 5/10 maximum. It doesn’t stop me cruising though. We love it. Just don’t love the food
