Also, can you do a video on "Tips to riding a lazy reiner" ? Your horses all move so nice, use their hocks and back so nice and always look like they're giving you their best movement with plenty of impulsion. What are some ways to get that consistently from horses who tend to be a bit on the lazy side?
Great topic! I've been wondering about this. Can you clarify if a little bit of a slide is desirable or not? Assuming it is not a break in gait, just a tiny, split second of slide to make the difference look more dramatic, is that bad? I see people doing that at shows and people always cheer but I'm wondering what the judges think of that. Thanks again for sharing your expertise! I've been watching you for years and learning so much!
I left out so much to keep it short. Make sure to watch on full version available on thecomfortzone.vhx.tv and more!!! Thank you for taking the time to comment

Loved this. Also, would you hum to cue the transition?
Thank you! Good point! Yes I always hum 🙂
What do you do if they aren’t reading your seat? Say you want to go from extended trot to jog?
Interesting most pros have multiple cues... Humm, throw the inside leg off, weight in the stirrup.
Yep! All very good so long as they are clearly communicated. Teach Reward Repeat 🤠
