Agree, it's so annoying that 10+ years later people are still so weird about pendulums instead of embracing them as another part of the game like any other mechanic, it's the mechanic that gets the most hate and it's very unreasonable considering pendulums haven't been actually good since like what? MR3? it's just boomer behaviour.
We got predaplant pendulums that fuse with themselves, we got speedroid pendulums that synchro with themselves, now we need PK pendulums that overlay themselves.
You know, predaplants and clear wings are from the same anime, where the mc is gaining their monsters and making them pendulum, rebellion dragons are the xyz deck from there so it's entirely possible we do get pk/rebellion pendulum support
This is good support. Not insane, but Speedroid was already pretty decent. This support, at a glance, makes them have a bit more options, play through more disruptions, and lowers the skill floor bit, while also making up for Baronne ban.
Speedroids never needed a way to pend summon. The fact that they now can is something extra, the omni negate makes boards more resiliant and adds so much needed floating to the archetype. And yes, it's better than Blazar in many situations as the crystal clear dragon that leaves behind is a pseudo towers that many decks can't easily get rid of
The new support gives Speedroids a non-committal way to set up Nib protection while also giving them more extenders and plays. Depending on the WIND Synchro pool there is, this could possibly make Speedroids a strong Rogue or Tier 3 Deck. I wouldn't know because a bunch of the new legacy support threatens to move a lot of Decks into at least rogue tier status or even a Tiered status in general, but we'll wait and see
I’d love to play Speedroids, but my Uncle isn’t the kinda guy I can get away with summoning from the extra deck as part of my turn 3 follow-up play. He’s a heavy drinker and tends to get a bit racist after having a few too many - I’m fairly sure Graham spouting his unsolicited opinions about the government’s asylum seeker policy to my round 4 opponent would be justifiable grounds for a dq.
On the *Crystal Clear Wing Over Synchro Dragon* card it states *Must be Synchro Summoned* , so I don't think you can keep reviving him, unless the other card says *Ignoring its Summoning conditions* *{::>_
Honestly you are using clackernal for just normal sorc pend decks i.e the ariadne varient/pop varient/ with plushire in the game as well you might be able to do some weird shenanigans again. Could even see some 4 negate boards consistently if you run the terrortop speedroid engine, with monkeyboard and skullcrobat you have all the consistency as well to get to your pensorc But its gonna need some testing before I can make clear statements
Chat telling you to "keep reading" reminds me of Farfa reading the new cards, he just sees a new mechanic and complains about the nonexistence of cards sharing the mechanic itself.. until he scrolls down to the next card, which is the clear target. And he does that all the time, which is upsetting. That's why I prefer seeing your reactions to cards - and MBT, sometimes.
Yeah, I guess the only time that would come up would be something like CL1 opponent's Imsety, CL2 your Overdragon, CL3 opponent's imperm, CL4 trap to reset, you dodge their imperm, negate their card and reset your negate. It's incredibly specific.
@@gamewatcher2712 Well, there's a lot of situations you COULD use it but not a lot where it's actually good. If your opponent uses targetted removal before you've used your negate, you can just use the negate to stop the removal. And since it's a GY effect, your opponent will always know you have it. If you've already used your negate, your opponent simply won't use any removal on your Overdragon and force you to use the trap effect to reset the negate, then target it. The only time you can actually get value from the dodging effect of the trap is if you're attempting to negate something and your opponent tries to negate/remove your Overdragon in the same chain.
More the like the person who runs this channel does not believe in crystrons (or they're one of those folks that has seen the potential and wants to save the best till last). Funnily enough I'd say that Crystrons are probably the closest to "I can take this to a big tournament and do well" post support compared to Fabled, Speedroid and Jurrac/Dino, they can play around droplets + evenly and its even possible to play around dark ruler + evenly thanks to their trap being able to pop their own cards.
On the surface this doesn't look crazy but it is. Imagine Speedroid Terrortop negated then you link it off for a link 1 because you aren't wind locked yet, you place Clackernel and to my knowledge unless your opponent has ghost Ogre you scale Clearwing and if your doesn't have Ash Blossom (Assuming Wing Synchrons effect to synchro summon Clear Wing Synchro Dragon can be negated.) you synchro summon Clear Wing Synchro Dragon as summon number 3. If that isn't enough to convince you its a tier 1 deck after this support all you need to do if you are hit by Nibiru is synchro summon Over Synchro Dragon because if its removed from field by your opponent you go into Crystal Clear Wing or Clear Wing Rider (Which Rider gets you Clear Wing Synchro Dragon and Clear Wing Fast Dragon.) because Wing Synchrons effect can foolish Clear Wing Wander a card so good its worth running 2 of it because you can banish a wind synchro monster you control to return it to the field and then because almost all of your most powerful monsters have effects that are soft once per turns you can use their effect(s) again. Over Clear Wing and Clear Wing Rider + the grave effect of Clear Wing wander can equal 5 negates or Over Clear Wing and Crystal Clear Wing + Wander gets you 2 omnis a spell/trap negate, and Crystal Clear Wing can also make itself unaffected by your opponents activated monster effects. But yeah just force your opponent to Nib early and use the new synchro tuner to get Clear Wing Synchro Dragon back and make a seemingly unbeatable board anyways. Overtakes effect that special summons can only be played around by negating it and in my experience that will almost never happen because your opponents already on low resources after trying to stop your turn 1 combos and I've had that experience with Mirrorjade and Despian Queratis. You would have to be using a card like Evenly Matched to even have a chance and as long as it isn't popular and as long as you need more than just it to break your opponents board its almost a impossible feat to accomplish. My point is once their new support is out if they get to set up their board you can't expect to break their board without feeling like your going through the 13 trials of Hercules.
@@pristinepuka I thought there would be one I kept on looking and looking and I did find 1 in the roughly 100 cards I looked at. Seems they'll be waiting for one. It doesn't matter if its dog crap as long as it gets us the card we need to get Clackernel off.
But can you end on that board if they hold their interruption for Rubberband? Clackernakel does provide a way to force nibiru early but if they manage to hit Rubber band with the Imperm/Ash/Veiler then how do you end on the optimal board of multiple negates. Also nobody is going to spend a negate on terrortop when you still have the normal summon avaliable. Unless there's a combo that somehow lets you go into Over Synchro Dragon before you even start any of your Rubberband combos but I doubt that you can do that without playing right into nibiru.
@@johnnywilson3071 Their is they have a spell that'll let you special summon up to 2 Speedroids with a total lv. equal to a dice roll. Results 3-6 is enough to get you to Cork Screw Which gets you to their other important synchro lv.5 that can be special summoned from grave with its own effect. You can tribute off Taketomborg for Red-Eyed Dice which can turn Terrortop into lv.2 for Corkscrew and its very important to know that the 1 of Yoyo and 2 of Red-Eyed aren't once per turn. Clear Wing Rider also let's you shuffle back resources equal to a dice roll to pop cards for each resource recycled. But I know its got the potential especially since you have the ability to pendulum summon and I've seen where at max combo people have been able to synchro summon 3 Over Synchro Dragon in 1 turn but I wouldn't play more than 2 because the extra deck space is tight and that Yu-Gi-Oh player I watched sacrificed Rider for the 3rd copy of it. Additionally Kaiju's haven't been popular for a long time meaning Crystal Clear Wing and Clear Wing Wander should be enough to protect you after Over Synchro has perished. I do net deck but its to do the testing so I can come up with a more optimized list later. I actually thought of using a small Kashtira engine but after optimizing the list I didn't feel I could do that without increasing my deck count and compensating for it by adding more consistency cards or by running a all gas variant. I also had to settle for a board breaker build because to play through hand traps and to not brick as much as possible and I found that because Clear Wing Wander is so important that its a worthy 2 of that I couldn't have more than 9 non-engine. Thats fine though because the deck is so powerful that cards like Nibiru and Dark Ruler No More are strong enough to allow you to compensate for the drawbacks of the deck just like in Brandeds board breaker variant.
i feel like i have to talk about the trap. do we really want to have cards that abuse soft once per turns. it's like once per turn are there for a reason and that they make a new card with a restriction to just immediately make a card that circumvents the restriction feel like really bad card design
The whole point of soft once per turns existing is the potential to use multiple of them in a turn. Otherwise they would have just made them hard once per turns. The trap is perfectly fine.
It's not pointless, it means they can allow speedroid to get 2 negates off their synchro while making the card be a single negate for everyone else. Tbh it's good card design if anything.
Pendulum haters will read a pendulum card with less effects than Snake Eyes Poplar and spontaneously become illiterate
