As you know, just before they left Japan and went to the US the mom told cho “I do not trust this man, my son”. Anytime an older female relative tells you something like that, acknowledge it. 99% of the time they are right
The granny should't have appeared at all. No doubt she was in a perfect fighting shape for her age, but she stood no chance against Braden. The way he found her has nothing to do with the design of the room, its Braden's senses as a ninja that helped him find her easily.
@@alexandervladimirov9874 And you know *everything* from watching a *B-movie* ?? Whatever next, some guy is an expert chef just because he eats every day at McDonald's?? Another guy is a top racing driver because he works at a gas station??
@@paulallen8109 I have not only watched movies, but i have also read a lot. I should say almost everything that is on the internet about ancient Japan. Plus, in this case what i am tryin to express is my point of view about the directors idea that he wanted to show the difference in preparation between them. And the granny was right from the beginning not to trust Braden.
Can you find someone that’s hiding in your house? That place was owned by Braden. He owned the gallery and the attached dojo/apartment with Cho. He knew every inch of that place. So with that out of the way, he knew exactly where she was hiding considering the spot where she disappeared at. Her fuck up was she didn’t know that the Ninja she was fighting was Braden, otherwise she wouldn’t have been that stupid to hide there. His silver mask is what gave him the advantage…
If she hadn't, then it would possibly been her grandson who encountered the SIliver Mask Ninja. Then she would have had to bury him along with the rest of her dead clan.
at 1:18 when she throws down the smoke pellot the knife in her right chest and the blood disapears!!! I have seen this movie 918 times and have never noticed it!!
If only there's another Silver Mask Ninja showing the red ninja headband, this could be a long story. Sho: "You are the one who send your people to destroy my family and having thieves taking all of our stuff!" Silver Mask Ninja: "No, fool!" (That's surprise) Silver Mask Ninja: "I am on a mission to find the traitor who manipulated my brothers, all dead."
I have a theory of how Braden knew where she hid. Braden had the money to fund the gallery front and obviously Cho wanted his own dojo so with bradens money to fund the commission, he must’ve known the layout of the dojo and hidden doors.
That, but most likely because it’s a rice curtain and you can see right through it. And I’m sure had she known that the ninja was Braden, she wouldn’t have just hid there knowing full well he knew the layout. She probably would’ve just bolted out of the building….
Literally the worst most cliche 80s ninja effect is the smoke ball. I mean, even if it somehow produced enough smoke to completely obscure you, you couldn't leave that immediate area because you would then leave the concealment of the smoke!
The guy that's acting the bad Ninja is in fact, Ather Roberts. Not Will Farrel. I have read that all the Ninjas in the opening seen were all students of master Cho Kosugi. At the start and end of the movie, Sho was fighting against his student Eddie Tse, who was doubling for the bad ass guy Ather Roberts........
The whole scene was hilarious. First her "attack" with that stupid chain weapon, then after she cartwheels, she's facing the wrong way and has to turn around. Then she gets her ass kicked, then he finishes her off, then the over-the-top synth sounds.
To those of you who actually know real Ninjutsu, you would know and recognise the old lay's posture here, as she lands on her feet: ichimonji no kamae! 1:00
What was the granny going to do after pulling the ninja off the ladder? Her plan was poorly implemented. And one thing I learned from watching this movie like 20 times, is that ninjas like to perform backflips.
during ninja mania, when every zit faced kid with a copy of black belt magazine thought he could become a ninja in 3 easy lessons. This whole genre gave martial arts a bad name, well, Hollywood martial arts anyway. The only thing worse than the acting was the choreography.
This scene was phenomenal of granny fighting against the ninja but she tried her best to outsmart him until he killed then a boy witnessed the murderer's face! 🥷🏻🥷🏻🥷🏻
In the 80s even grannies were tougher than today's influencers.
el man es un ninja americano😎👌.... porque es lo que es

Grammy fucked up, she shouldn't left him alone
I didnt know will Ferrell actually knew ninjutsu!!! Hahahaha!!
The prescription here wasn't cowbell, so much as it was the need for more Geritol!
Granny had balls of solid rock! She was outmatched though. This is my favorite movie. Thanks for posting.
Please for the movie

If granny was a little younger, Braden would've got his ass kicked.
Definitely 👍🏻😆
@@ProfessorKenneth real talk. Lol
No she still would've gotten killed; a woman cannot defeat a man.
Granny was old school. He came in her house disrespectfully. It took no guts for Braden to kill an elderly woman. She was the champ for trying.

0:24, the bending ass on the far right with accompanying ninja music sound effect, LOL.
this movie was so epic in my opinion, I WATCHED IT WHEN I WAS LITTLE LIKE 4

Still a awesome movie
Lol you mean despite this scene?

Pretty accurate as to what goes on at the retirement homes; after the lights go out...
It looked so cool watching the granny fighting scene when I was a kid.
Excellent Ninja flick.
Watched this movie 100 times! No film could even compare. Bradon removed his mask afterwards... At least that was honorable.
Don't Fuck with the ninja!! They are very dangerous.

It also could have been intuition.
@@fabricenixon7774 It is mainly intuition, because the ninja are very well trained to rely on it.
I love how after Braden sticks her, he kind of steps back like "she might bite!"
