I worshiped the ground that Anne Heche walked on when she portrayed Vicky & Marley. Never saw Ellen Wheeler's portrayal until these RUclips videos. Amazing how her portrayal of Marley almost mirrors Anne Heche's performance (they even kind of resemble each other). No surprise they both won Emmys for their work as dual characters of Vicky/Marley.

Even when aw was in lulls I never gave up I looooved it from 76 to end of 80 .81 and 82 were terrible.83 to 85 much better.86 to 88 soso.89 to 99 very good!!! I miss this show still but kind of glad it went when soaps were still great so I'll always remember it that way .it would be like the few still on today if still on and couldn't bare that.
It would been great if the show got real twins Liz and Jean Segal from NBC's doubble trouble !! Barbara Burjer Almost lost her scottish accent !! Where is Clairse during the Sally Storyline ??
Show got too campy...writing wasnt good...and the loss of core families like The Mathews and Randolphs and Beverly McKensie sorely missed...show was never again a top favorite!!!
I agree, the value of this show went downhill in the early 80’s. I seen episodes from when Soap Net aired the show late 80’s and early 90’s, and it was beyond campy. I’m shocked it last as long as it did after the ratings plummeted. The 70’s and very early episodes was very well done. I say by 1982 it lost a lot of its charm.

Ellen's Wheeler's portrayal of Vicky is my favorite television character of all time. Hands down.

Yes, Taylor was Nina Courtlandt, not Sally Frame. Mary Page was Sally. She and Thomas were magical as Sally and Catlin.❤
